Democracy means "By agreement of the People". As to how it is implemented, that is not specified. Although I agree with your points, they are not neccessary to make something "democratic". The USA is a "A Republic of Democratically elected Representatives". It's our failure to hold them accountable by the provisions of accountability, as minimal as they are, in our Constitution that have led us to our current predicament.
when the goverment of the u.s. is suspected to be after the brain behind the wikileaks how can then they have the morality to denounce the abuse that China is doing right now??? well they dont...and they are silent...they shouldnt...america's goverments of present and future must learn to keep their game clean because the rest of the world looks up to that superpower to at least denounce what is wrong with the world...if they cant make them selfs right, who will denounce the wrong?
Problem is the nature of this society is to breed sheeple and it's done a pretty good job of that in the last half century or so. Maybe I'm just a little more cynical about it, but I don't think there's enough free thinking individuals left out there to stop the rolling colossus of ignorance.
@TheDarxide23 from what i've read, by some sources it only took 3 percent to win the revolutionary war. another source said 16 percent. either way, it only took a small percentage of the population, so yes. there are enough free-thinking individuals to make a difference. a larger percentage of people are more aware now than ever, thanks to the internet. it'll be a shame if wikileaks becomes their excuse to shut off the web. whether he's legit or not makes no difference if we all get shut down.
When you give someone that "privilege" to control you, the only way to get it back is with a bloody revolution. I think. Someone please prove me wrong.
People wont take back their freedom because the FED keeps bribing them with counterfeit money.
Untill people realize their money is worth nothing, nothing is whats going to happen. Then it will be to late.
Once we took a bite of that fruit, we were destine to be kicked out of the gardan of eden. (Thats why its so diffucult for the rich to enter heaven.)
The chances of America waking up to its stolen freedom, is equal to America being converted back to christianity.

Though I despise the bible and what it stands for, I love the bible quote about Legion.
Mostly when it's paraphrased, though, and only when used outside of it's original context.

That's one thing people don't realise, If living and participating in a democracy isn't hardwork, then you're not doing it right.
