my dad says this is a good job for me but im not sure. he says you dont need qualifications even though i would get some but im only 13 right now, but because im tall and broad he thinks it would be a good job, im 5,10 and still growing. he says he thinks id be interested in it. just wondering what you guys would say about the job if any of you have had experiance

I'm not an officer myself either, although you need to be mentally and physically fit and healthy, confident and strong minded and be able to hold your own in tough situations.

yes my dad said that you need to be physically fit and mentally as you mensioned too. im thinking about it as it is better then being on the beat for 2 years as a normal police officer

well you have to do beat/response anyway, for a year or two, then you can apply for a specialist unit eg Motorway, Armed response, dog section etc
