Although he made later movies, this was really the swansong of Busby Berkeley, with the Carmen Miranda number breaking all the rules, and in technicolor! If only he had controlled his career better we would have more of these joyous excuses for a bit of fun and entertainment. Just about the best of his work, and a good cast with Alice Faye and benny Goodman, can't be bad!
