  • I know people will say I'm crazy, but I think this was the best Tommy Morrison ever boxed in the early rounds. Lennox was just too good though. One thing I noticed is that when Morrison would throw his left to the head, Lewis' body was open. Tommy should have doubled up head body. Of course probably easier said than done. Lewis fought a very controlled fight here and took no chances against one of the best left hooks in boxing. Ask Ray Mercer who was the hardest puncher he ever fought.

  • I love Fight Night Champion. But they gave Lewis only an 84 level. He should at least get 90.

  • @SteveDutchy I agree, Lennox beat Tyson and tyson was at like 92, Lennox lewis' reach and size in the game is ridiculous though i think thats why they did it, otherwise we'd be seeing lennox lewis or the kiltchkos as harder to beat then Issac Frost.

  • lewis was a mad boxer!! underated boxer!!

  • Lewis is the biggest scrub in Heavyweight history. Wouldn't touch any good boxer in their prime. Laid low, and fought them all in their twilight. Boxing's ultimate pussy.

  • @bisquik3006 no,yer boxings ultimate keyboard pussy not lennox.yer nothin, yer just a dime a dozen needle dick, fat assed critique.this guy whether u like it or not was the HEAVYWEIGHT,UNDISPUTED,OF THE WORLD.lay off a little, show a little respect mr.nobody.u dont know a fuckin thing about boxing or u wouldnt run your mouth like u do.emmanuel stewart is in his corner u chump, you think the great emmanuel stewart handles a scrub?..go back to the badminton videos where u belong

  • @dempsey981 Aww. Did I offend someone who tosses off to Mr. Lewis. Looks like I did.

Just because you are his fan, doesn't mean he wasn't a scrub. Work on your grammar too. That comment was like passing a kidney stone.

  • @bisquik3006 i dont need your fuckin grammer critique, and this isnt eng 101.if the only ground you've got to stand on is dissecting my online short hand instead of defending your own ignorant comment, then you are impotent,as well as clueless.you still dont know squat about boxing or lewis,or the heavyweight division for that matter.you are still nothin and lennox is still great.so please go right back to your badminton videos, and let us men discuss our boxing.

  • @dempsey981 "grammer" LOL!

You are a fucking moron. You proved that with your first comment, but I see you added another for insurance.

  • @bisquik3006 you're still an idiot, and you still focus on rapidly typed, trivial typo errors etc.,and not the empty content of your mindless boxing comments.why dont you tell us all about your other outstanding views as regards boxing, and its champions.please be sure to meticulously scrutinize every letter ive typed so you can once again avoid the subject at hand, and once again criticize.hey mister if you can be critical of the undisputed champ of the world, then you must be special.punk!

  • @dempsey981 Why would I bother arguing with you? You are a moron, and a Lewis fanboy. He never fought anyone until they were washed up. Idiots like you tug the tube to Lewis because he was a champ when nobody was around. Douglas was a champ. Are you saying he wasn't a scrub?

  • @bisquik3006 ok.at least now youre talking boxing and not monitoring a spelling bee.im NOT a huge lewis fan,but he had a wide skill set, this guy seriously hurt alot of contenders.many, consider him one of historys best, lets at least not belittle him .im not gonna discuss mr.douglas here but i tip my hat to ANYBODY that steps into the ring with a prime mike tyson, and becomes the first man in history to not only defeat him but also to knock him out.that takes enormous courage, boxing takes courage

  • 3:50 Christopher Walken works Tommy Morrison's corner......O:

  • @VoxCor the ICE is GONNA BREAKK!!

  • he q es lo q dicen los comentarios?????

  • You have to keep Lewis bussy all the time.

  • 8.09 Roy Jones: ...for too long of a period of time.

Worst sentence ever uttered in English.

  • Yeah. I know. This is nit-picking. At 6:01 Lewis catches Morrison on the jaw with a left hook. They called it a body-shot. I'm not sayin'. I'm just sayin'.

  • @ChesterLoadstone lmao im not saying im just saying?

  • @ChesterLoadstone Pretty sure they were referring to the body shot by morrison which lead Lewis to getting a knockdown.

  • Morrison should have fought like David Tua against Ruiz .....

  • does anyone remember holyfield? lol he beat tyson?

  • @JesusJuiceNorthy yes holyfield was a filthy cheater.

  • @thebiggiantmouse His best weopon was his forehead (thats why his ear was bit off). He was an incredible but very dirty athlete.

  • morrison falls short compared to tyson or lennox. he's great, but he's not a legend.

  • Big up, LL!!!

  • Man Morrison put on a LOT of size as his carrer went on.

  • @abcwarrior88 He looks huge! Those shoulders must be 4 feet wide.

  • Morrison is fighting on the outside? bad idea!

  • @EdgeStormcrow Morrison fighting Lennox Lewis! Bad idea!

  • @flouflis1a He had a shot at winning i believe if he didn't try to box Lewis. Although im not a huge fan of Lewis, he's an excellent boxer on the outside., Has a nice fast straight right if you let him get it off.

  • morrison tripped and was tired so he took the rest you would understand if you saw him in training i always criticized his lack of quality stamina work

  • first two times Tommy more or less knocked himself down trying to belt Lennox

  • Jacko - Cant spell ha ha.

  • Bloody oath tommy was like the white evander he lost some big fights but he won a few put him under fuking legend in my book.

  • tommy has aids perion lmao... and still spreads it

  • Say what you want about Morrison, but the guy was exciting to watch and he pretty much fought all the top contenders of his time. And it was the last great time for the heavy weights IMO. I loved watching the heavy weights of the 90's and I miss it.

  • @funkeytoad08 thats true man ive become a fan recently ye i think hed fight anyone

  • Wow, Rocky Balboa really did a good job with the boy...

  • Jeez..I know Tyson was a popular fighter but people really need to get a handle on this mythical "In his Prime" statements..As early as his 86 fight with James Tillis his weakness's became apparent..He avoided many good fighters because of careful management he was far from unbeatable even in his Prime..And that Prime being the result of a untenable training regime..

  • prime tyson with cus d amato and kevin rooney = unbeatable...nuff said

  • Yeah, Tyson vs Foreman, both not very intelligent fighters, Ali should've been deducted points for constantly holding foreman's head, i mean CONSTANTLY! Anyway, Foreman vs Tyson, Id say Tyson, he's faster, and Foreman's cross arm defense leaves him open for Tyson's uppercut.

  • Tyson would have destroyed Tommy..end of story

  • Morrison beat a bunch of nobodies and senior citizens..he was a great white hype, nothing more, nothing less

  • @royuncg2 YA he only beat Donovan Ruddock, Ross Purrity, Car Williams and Joe Hipp with a broken jaw and hand!! Who the fuck is he! WHO THE FUCK! What a fucking fuck! THAT FUCKING FUCKER! I'm so fucking angry about that!

  • @royuncg2 and senior citizens? George Foreman was a force to be reckoned with, who managed to string wins over guys like Gerry Cooney and Terry Anderson, and went the distance with Evander Holyfield.

  • gotcha...man give credit where its due..he was a bad dude..his record speaks for itself...all this racial shits gotta stop.. it freakin aggrevating to hear people like you talk shit... give him props cuz he WAS a great fighter..even the very best will loose at sum point...he wasnt great because he is white, Tyson wasnt great because he was black, they both had the talent to excel at this game and did it...to the best of there abilities which was better than most!!

  • Comment removed

  • lol Lennox Lewis is too tall for him

  • lennox Cliches to mutch when he gets in trouble

  • @primeboxers but he beat allot of them black dopes!!!!

  • @randallscobb he sure did, and also beat Foreman with a wide margin.

at his very peak , he was good, but all white boys who grew up in the 90's think he is great, and among the very best of that era, he is far from it.

he was a B-class fighter, there are plenty of black B-class fighters out there, none of them will ever make half as much money or get half as much attention as Morrison got, because Morrison is white, this shows how twisted and "racially-centered" the modern mind really is...

  • Comment removed

  • @randallscobb what have you been shoving up your ass. had there been a KO in that fight it would've been by Foreman. It went the distance.

He wasn't humble or a good sportsman, he was only percieved to be by his manager, that's called promotion. What really made him draw crowds was his skincolor. Denying this is like saying Leonard was ahead when he KO'd Hearns!

  • Comment removed

  • @randallscobb I am the biggest bum ever! The fight still went the distance, I don't know what fight you are confusing it with, but you should watch it again, its here on youtube, just search for Foreman Morrison.

Even the biggest bums in history had signature wins, they are still bums. Morrison was no bum, but he was just B-class fighter, dispite the win over Foreman and other old men.

  • @primeboxers Morrison beat one good fighter in his career and that was razor Ruddock. Ali was the best heavyweight in history and foreman was #2.Foreman in his prime would have ko Tyson in his prime in 1 or 2 rounds.

  • @jfiles000000 Morrison beat washed up Ruddock, that doesn't mean anything.

He was shipped himself by Ray Mercer.

    Morrison was a bum!

  • @primeboxers A bum that got aids.......that sucks.

  • @jfiles000000 maybe he was also a fag.... lol

  • @jfiles000000 hell no tyson would of won in the end but foreman would of put up a good fight

  • @wbooker10 foreman in his prime?I would put my money Foreman in his prime knocks tyson out

  • @jfiles000000 look Foreman is a good fight but the only thing he had was the powerful p.. and thats why he lost to Ali but Tyson had the power too but he had a better way in using it he knows how to say down an bring it up (well in his prime any-way) an when he do bring it up it was powerful and wonderful

  • @jfiles000000 thats a joke even foreman wouldnt grill

  • @jfiles000000 lol bullshit Foreman never seen anything like tyson he would get close to land on Tyson in the start Tyson would have murdered him too much speed with power.he would have went down like a building

  • @freewee21 Tyson was too scared to fight old man Foreman. No way he'd last against prime Foreman.

  • @pearcemark2 tyson didn't want to disrespect his one of his childhood idols, thats why he didn't tear him apart nuff said.

  • @freewee21 That's a hilariously pitiful excuse for being too much of a pussy to fight an old man.

  • @pearcemark2 yea in the mind of a careless youtuber, who all he cares or wants to see is a war in the ring.i'd expect you'r answer to be thought less and short......what i mean is all you want to see is the fight.....listen to this"lets say they fought right "Foreman vs tyson"and you think foremans old but still got it...tyson just boom his ass in the head with a right hand....foreman dies.then all you can say is foreman should have know he was to old for tyson wow great foreman was 49 lol death

  • @freewee21 Except that Tyson never killed anybody, and he wouldn't have beaten Foreman. He was the exact type of boxer Tyson has trouble with. Big tall guys who use their reach, and guys who will hit him back and not cower.

That was Tyson's best assett post his skills going to shit. Guys were just so intimidated by the image that they were ready to quit before they ever fought.

George would've taken his head off and he knew it, so he ducked him. Like he ducked everyone good.

  • @pearcemark2 yea right because a boxer dosent fight everyone every body a boxing fan wants them to match up with there first ignorant thought is oh hes ducking.he's ducker to you but care about it or not people grow to love boxing so much they forget there people too,who take shit's and think thoughts just like you.you think tyson would lose i don't agree and don't try to bullshit me about if foreman was in his prime.he would of died or got damaged by tyson.you see ali did you foresee that no ok

  • @freewee21 LMAO

Hey asshole, stop saying Tyson would kill people. He didn't. He never killed anyone.

He fought bums and old men when he was in his prime.

He beat ZERO prime young other fighters.

An old past it Foreman would beat Tyson, let alone the young Foreman.

It's a terrible style matchup for Tyson.

You really don't know anything about boxing if you don't understand this.

  • @pearcemark2 ohh you know motherfucker! What was Razor Ruddock for you? A fucking bum?

  • @pearcemark2 Real boxing fans will notice that Tyson was a shell of his former self then. Tyso was a technical fighter back in the day. He jabbed a lot, went to the body, was very efficient with setting up his offense, punches were accurate and crisp and used fast, crisp combinations.prime tyson......G.O.A.T you H.AT.E Pure skill.you say tyson fought Zero prime other fighters wow how could you say that and go with it and not be a Moron.no disrepect but tyson's a killer.foreman's a fighter

  • @freewee21 You're a fool.

  • @pearcemark2 and your fools Gold FAKE!

  • @pearcemark2 Foreman would of beat Tyson in the 90's. Tyson really is a shit stain on boxing and the most overrated heavyweight ever. People need to look, at his fights in the 80's and realize that he never had real challenges.

  • @chrisis138 Dude Henry Tillman, Quick Tillis, Bonecrusher Smith, Larry Holmes, Micheal Spinks, Frank Bruno, Razor Ruddock, and Trevor Berbick were not nobodies... But Foreman probably would have beat him but he would have took a hellacious beating for a few rounds...

  • @jagboola Only person on that list worth a damn is Larry Holmes and he was washed up. Razor Ruddock was okay but not a champion in my opinion. Spinks was nothing compared to a great fighter, matter of fact Spinks was a chump. I won't even name the rest because there not worthy of being in the same conversation as Foreman. Mike Tyson is the most overrated pussy I've ever heard of in my life.

  • @chrisis138 So Holmes was washed up but he fought for over 10 years after the Tyson fight and got mutiple title shots... And Spinks is a chump that beat Holmes twice and ended his undefeated streak at 48 fights, and he's also a hall of famer... Almost everyone I named was either a champion or in championship contension.. Hard to call those guys nobodys... And even harder to call Tyson a pussy to his face..

  • @jagboola blah blah blah, Tyson is a pussy is so many ways and a disgrace to boxing. You Tyson fans are all the same, will defend him to the end. I don't care if you think he was great, he wasn't but you're entitled to your wrong opinion about things.

  • @chrisis138 If my opnion is so wrong why was he inducted into the hall of fame this year, and why is he on every list of best boxers of all time, also one of the best punchers of all time. former undispted hw champion of the world, and 2 time hw champ; claming a belt 6 different times... No sir I think I is you who areentited to your wrong opnion.

  • @chrisis138 We will defend Tyson till the end and you hate it. Only a fucking moron would talk shit about a man that could end fights with one punch. to the head or body. he rocked people with jabs haha. and you call tyson a pussy? Tyson? he's tiny. and you talk about him like its a level playing field. 99% of the guys he fought were much taller with a much longer reach. he laughed at their advantages and fucked their world up hahah talk shit bitch nobody cares

  • @250honda yeah, I posted that shit over 3 months ago and yet you still needed to say something about it. Listen, Tyson buttfucker, I don't care if you're into flash in the pans or one hit wonders or black rapists that fought wash ups in the 80's. Have a good day now.

  • @chrisis138 Well all that tells me is you cant back up anything you say. Buttfucker? So this makes you a lewis buttfucker for favoring lewis? you called yourself a buttfucker. have fun with that. oh but you told me off real good since you said have a good day now. HAHAH

  • @250honda Indeed Tyson was a bad dude...Morrison not so much spanked by any quality opponent

  • @primeboxers dude, sorry but he was a very good sportsman...I dont recall him ever bumping his gums after a knock-out or win...a classy guy with bricks for hands.... take care and stop the racial shit...it does nobody any good...draws lines where there needs to be none...for real!!

  • @randallscobb He sure was a sportsman, like most other B-class fighters......

  • This fight showed that Morrison was only B fighter

  • tyson is the best ever!

  • tyson of 1988 would have certainly destroyed this lewis.

  • @fadethetrade

Maybe, but he still would have lost to Buster Douglas

  • Lewis should of been penalized for pushing down and holding the Duke.

  • can you sob's not say fuck in ever other comment

  • c bien

  • Let me tell ya Lewis was born to be fucking boring...

  • man morrison was a good fighter, but lost 2 some real shitty fighters!!

  • @SWO4LIFE

Actually, Morrison lost to high quality opponents - Ray Mercer and Lennox Lewis, two hall of fame heavyweights, even Michael Bentt was a great fighter - he had a stellar international amateur career, even fought Felix Savon at the Pan Am games.

So the reality is, Morrison never lost to "shitty" fighters

  • @dooby510 mercer yea. lewis yea. but bentt was not a good fighter.and the other 3 guys he lost 2 you cant even find them on any videos!

  • @SWO4LIFE

Bentt was pretty damb good i agree about the other 2 though.

  • @403766 who did bentt beat besides morrison?

  • @SWO4LIFE

Alright fuck it but he had a better career than people give him credit for and a good amatuer 1.

Obviously he was not great but he wasn't a bum either.

  • @403766 who was the dude that killed morrison in the 1st round?

  • @SWO4LIFE michael bentt rocked him in the first round, morrison got 3 times down

  • @dietermauer yea ok,i have not seen that fight in years!

  • @SWO4LIFE and "ray mercer*" knocked him out in the first seconds

    *or something like that ^^

  • @dietermauer yea he did..fuck im old i forget a lot of shit now!!

  • @dietermauer

Ray Mercer KO'ed in him round 5 dude?

  • @SWO4LIFE It was Rocky Balboa outside of a nightclub but it wasn't the 1st round it was ONE MORE ROUND

  • @romans52345 hahahahahaaaaa yea great fight huh?

  • @dooby510 and don't forget about the loss to Rocky Balboa in a streetfight...

  • @romans52345 lol

  • "The way he threw that hook was almost like he's been watching some Roy Jones tapes or something" ahaha you've gotta love Jones.

  • i am a fan of mike Tyson as i have mention before but i like to think a real fan sees the whole person, his flaws and mistakes as well as his good points and achievements, cus damoto did have a influence on tysons life but it was not quiet as big or beneficial on his career as people think it was. you also mention you look at tyson from a sports science perspective his style and technique but all of that is useless without the mind and heart you cannot separate the two in boxing

  • lewis was 34 when he fought holy field, lewis was born in 1965 hard to say when lewis was at his best some fighters age better than others, lewis got better as he got older i think. i do not think he was underrated by people who knew boxing riddick bow and Tyson ducked him, also lewis like holyfield was never a dominate champion he lost easy fights (which he did avenge) and against average opponents he did not always make himself look great (frank bruno )

  • he had HIV in this fight TRAGIC...did it affect his performance?

  • @SmackNcrack01 ---no he dosent have it...it was false he took another test in 2005 and he dosent have hiv

  • it makes me laff how all u yanks make excuses of how u lose

  • I don't like the way that lewis fights

  • I don't like the wy that lewis fights

  • LENNOX LEWIS retired because he didn’t think MUHAMMAD ALI will fight him to prove his “greatness”! MR LEWIS was also an accomplished ACTOR and narrowly lost out to EDDIE MURPHY to star in the movie COMING TO AMERICA. To EXPERTS this was NOT A SURPRISE because the GLASS JAWED COWARD stayed in the UK fighting BUMS and as his BOXING RECORD clearly states, he only decided on COMING TO AMERICA exactly 3 MONTHS after MIKE TYSON was JAILED for 6 YEARS by JUDGE PATRICIA J GIFFORD in INDIANAPOLIS!

  • Lewis was not a toe to toe fighter...he fought from a distance. His size and long arms gave him a good advantage and enabled him to do this.

  • lewis is overated had a glass jaw got knocked the fuck out by rahman and mcall.Never really was tested, faced a tyson that was 15 years past his prime, and retired undefeated like a little bitch.

  • @kmesprtan First of all, Lewis called Tyson out in '96, second of all Lewis is older, third of all Lewis didn't retire undefeated, he just beat everyone he fought, fourth of all, he's very underrated, and fifth of all, he was tested and showed he had a chin times, Mercer, Tucker, Mavrovic, Klitschko all hammered Lewis with their best shots and Lewis took them and delivered more of his own and beat them all.

  • plz dont lecture me your not telling me anything i dont know. first of all tyson was out of his prime in 89.Lewis got knocked the fuck out by one punch kos thats a shaky chin he never avenged the mcall ko mcall just quite. lewis didnt rematch vitali or fight wladimir clearly a overated fighter who jabbed his way to boring decesions

  • @kmesprtan sugar ray Leonard made Roberto Duran quite in there 2nd fight so ray Leonard never really avenged the his loss to duran in there first fight would you agree, i know it does not look that impressive compared to a knock out or even a points decision but lewis like ray Leonard took the other mans will and heart to fight away from him, yes lewis has a suspect chin but he did avenge any fight he lost and he was losing to vitali its true but he was at the end of his career after beating

  • tyson (who was very good but overrated and lacked character ) lewis had nothing more to prove and yes lewis fought a old man tyson

  • @kmesprtan yes it is true lewis was probably never tested by another great fighter (lewis fought a aging tyson and aging hollyfield ) so we dont know how great lewis could have been but that is not his fault but then tyson was never tested in his prime when tyson beat frank bruno for the wbc belt the wbc ranked lewis as the number 1 challenger and ordered tyson to fight him tyson gave up the belt and took the softer option to fight bruce seldon for the wba belt

  • @redbaron932 hey mate agree with your comments, and don't forget lewis was past his best when he fought tyson and holyfield. He was 36 for the holyfield first fight. Lewis has been underated in my opinion

  • @MrKellsy he was never a popular champion i think because he came after tyson also he was not a box office fighter (he fought defensive and was criticized for fighting to safe and could be a bit boring which i do agree with) also his personality was a bit dreary( not a peoples champion) and know one really ever claimed him as there own (some British fans warmed to him but he did not capture the whole of england s imagination) and for the record i thought lewis lost the 2nd fight to hollyfield

  • @redbaron932 If we watch Lewis's fights against Ray Mercer, Shannon Briggs, Frank Bruno, Tony Tucker, Gary Mason, Zlejko Mavrovic and Vitaly Klitshcko, I think we wouldn't agree that Lewis style was boring. We will never see that kind of fight in Wladimir Klitschko's fights.

  • @lexsoft for the record i do not think lewis or the klitshckos are boring i box my self and i like to keep in one piece so i can respect there style but lewis was criticized as well in his prime for being boring and fighting to safe (by other people)if lewis was more exciting than the klitschkos it was not by much i am afraid i think lewis style is very similiar to the klitschkos

  • @MrKellsy but i do respect lewis the way he carried him self as a person and in the ring but i do think lewis and the people around him should have done more to get the fights with bowe and tyson they should have done some publicity stunts to call out tyson and bowe i wonder if lewis ever though to himself i will never get the respect as the best fighter of my generation un less i beat tyson (which is true) i think tyson did not want to fight lewis

  • @MrKellsy but it does make me wonder how much did lewis really care about his legacy for being a great fighter Emmanuel Stewart (who became lewis trainer after lewis lost to oliver McCall ) has said off course fighters box for the money who can blame them but they do not seem to be as concerned about there legacy and reputation as much as they use to like there management the fighters today seem a bit to keen for the easy pay days defending a version of the belt against a average fighter

  • @MrKellsy and the fighters seem to want to do keep doing this (defend a version of the title against a average fighter) for as long as possible. the fighters will only take the big risk when they have to against a dangerous opponent this is what is bad for boxing all these different versions of the title and that the fighters can make easy pay days once they get to the top they lose that hunger and drive where is the incentive

  • @MrKellsy anyway i know i have gone on a bit speaking my mind but thanks for the reply i just get fed up with boxing sometimes feel free to say what ever you want whether you agree with me or not

  • is that Christopher Walken at 3:42?

  • @MrKushez Yes of course. You didint know that Christopher Walken was Morrisons cutman back in the day? :O

  • @MrKushez It actually was, he (Walkin) is a personal friend of Sly Stallone he was trying to get Tommy to come out and fight Stallone in the street....

  • If you look at 3:42 you'll see that in secret Christopher Walken spends his freetime as a professional cutman

  • @MrKushez Haha that's definitely not christopher walken lol

  • why is that on every lewis fight on you tube everybody's taling about lewis and tyson in case you guys didn't notice that's tommy morrison he's fighting

  • I want Lewis to punch me in the face! We'll call it suicide, but Jesus knows that Lewis hit me really hard as to cause death

  • Lennox Lewis just got better with age. One of the greatest heavyweights ever, he's right up there, top 3-5.

  • @hitmancoolio well who is your number 1?

  • tyson would of beat anyone in his prime, problem was he had the mind of a child, easily influenced by external factors such as don king and robin givens.he was all fucked up,if custamato had of stayed alive he would of been fine

  • @cheatingwanker

I agree! The only person better then Tyson in his prime was James Buster Douglas

  • @JohnFromSpace That wasn't a prime Tyson in the Douglas fight though. The guy didn't have the same kind of head movement he had in the 80s. He went downhill after he got rid of his trainer.

  • @Antdawg419

People sure like to make excuses for Mike Tyson =)

  • @JohnFromSpace Well he did start looking shitty when he got rid of Rooney though. Even Rooney himself said Mike didn't look the same anymore.

  • @Antdawg419 there is truth in what you are saying but lets not let that border into excuses for poor little mike we should also point out that douglas trained hard for that fight got a new trainer who had worked with angelo dundee and douglas was 6,4 athletic had a good jab and his mum had just died so he turned his grief inwards with the what do i care what happens to me, tyson with or without kevin rooney (the trainer tyson fired) alot of tysons arsenal was based around fear

  • @redbaron932 I give Douglas credit because he did fight one hell of a fight. I'm just say w/o Rooney Tyson became a shit fighter. What made Tyson great was his head movement and the precision of his punches. When he got rid of Rooney all he did was just try to ko guys with one shot.

  • @Antdawg419 yes there is truth in some of this which many other people have stated but that is what makes tyson a good fighter but not a great one look at ali he cam back after a 3 year lay off and was not as good but he always found a way to win tyson was another one of these fighters that never arrived at greatness

  • @JohnFromSpace And Buster Douglass was mediocre at best

  • @bigmoney749

But good enough to destroy Tyson =)

  • @cheatingwanker tyson had the mind of a thug and a bully i am afraid. if cus had stayed alive i doubt it would have made one bit of difference and i am a fan of tysons but i have to tell it like i see it

  • @redbaron932 your entitled to ur opinion, but im looking at tyson from a sports science perspective, his technique, fighting style, strengths and weaknesses.ive also studied tysonn past as im a avid fan.if you read norman maylors book on tyson, you would realise that cus damoto made a massive influence on tysons life and fighting career.when he died he had no-one, surrounded by gangsters, don king and robin givens he lost his mind.u cant be that much of a fan if you write statements like ur previous

  • Tyson was not surrounded by gangsters he chose to surround himself with gangsters(don king) also when cus died he had Kevin Rooney and cuses widow and jimmy jacobs supporting him jimmy jacobs died as you know but over time Tyson chose to fire Kevin Rooney and the old catskill corner men from the cus days kevin rooney was good for him as a trainer in the ring

  • and the reason i make these statements about mike Tyson and his lack of character, heart and poor judgment out side of the ring is because it will tell you alot about what the man is capable of and not inside of the ring cus was asked what makes a great fighter and his reply was character, character makes a fighter predictable it is not uncommon for a fighter with a lot of character (heart composure ) to beat a better fighter (physically) who has less character you can watch it on youtube

  • @cheatingwanker here i recommend this book to you it is called mike Tyson money myth and betrayal by montieth illgworth a very good read and you mention Norman mailer but you do not tell me the name of the book is it mike Tyson or iron mike i would like to read it very much i have read Norman mailers the fight which is a good read but not very critical about his main subject but still a good read also if you have not read it check out ghosts of manila by mark kram look forward to your next post

  • @cheatingwanker and i do not think he would beat any one in his prime he would give up in fights even in his prime the mans character was always under the spot light what would he do if he was really challenged

  • Lewis played chess while his opponents played checkers.

  • @Dmidgette1

    Oliver McCall Checkmated him once.

  • He did pretty well to beat every opponent in his path with a suspect chin....Some of you lot dont have a clue....

  • Morrison stands very square as a boxer

  • Lennox Lewis jab wasnt that good compared to his right hand Wladimir Klitschko jab and right hand are equal where as Lennox Lewis jab was bit worse then his right hand he just did enough to set his right hand up

  • Morrison fought scared this entire fight & it cost him. He should have just let his hands go early. Lewis has no chin. Could have exposed it.

  • @haroof

I agree 100%, brother. He got his pretty little face cut and it was concerning him from then on. I never thought he had good managment, but for once I agree with his corner men when they said to go out there and make a street fight out of it. He should've put his head down -and charged Lewis and just throw hooks or what not....then again, I'm no boxer.

  • @haroof when Morrison let his hands go he always got KO'd early.

  • @haroof lewis had plenty of chin. Lewis is just and was a better fighter, sorry Tommy.

  • @haroof you dont seem to have a clue..I really wonder how a boxer with no chin could manage to be an undisputed heavyweight champion and how he could defeat every opponent he ever faced..If morrison had let his fists go early then he would have found himself lying down looking up at the referee...Lewis is a true heavyweight legend who retired with nothing left to proove
