  • snl skit was awesome

  • In the movie her name is Sally Bowls i think

  • @pinkcow44u sally boals

  • I dumped my boyfriend and sang this in his face!

  • Liza doesn't have show business in her veins... She's a freakin' personification of show business!

  • @sraphael min miss minellis parents were Vincent MInelli& Judy Garland....

She does have showbusiness in her veins

  • i have a love hate relationship with anne hathaway, but if their ever (god forbid) redo this classic anytime soon, i think she has the potential to be a decent sally bowles... maybe because i think they're physically similar.

    please dont lambast me...!

  • 114 persons don't have a "Herr"

  • Bye-Bye, Mein Lieber Herr.

    Farewell, mein Lieber Herr.

    It was a fine affair,

    But now it's over.

And though I used to care,

    I need the open air.

    You're better off without me,

    Mein Herr.

  • Use clorox wipes on those "balls to you" please...urself comes first or how can u teach others..anything?!?

  • o melhor dela!

  • good!

  • Along with the Godfather the Brando one and Cabaret for me were the best films of the 70s! Slightly underrated decade unlike the 60s but much fun was to be had in the 70s too!

  • It's a good thing her vertigo wasn't acting up. Buster wouldn't be around to help her up. He was only two at the time.

  • @sigmus90 And flying would have been a grotesque misadventure.

  • In the magazine "Love" Liza Minelli appears with a black boots and high heels until the knees like saying "here you are my 65 years old!".

  • she is one sexy lady! "bye bye" <3

  • 109 people knows anything about culture.

  • balls to you.....anyone?

  • mmh wer will mit mia schreiben

  • they should get the original cast to perform this now.....that would be.. something

  • DID YOU KNOW: that in the original screen test for this number lizza wore a purple costume almost exactly like the girl in the green @3:01 with the hat that shes wearing. if you want a better look of the green costume watch "willkommen".

  • would love to know what Joel Grey whispers to her at 0.40

  • i Won´t like this;)

  • so nie mehr schuften bin so reich

  • soso hab was geiles entdeckt haha

  • Lady Gaga is so beautiful w/o makeup--thats whats sooo ironic/odd. She is a different kind of artist..and her charm IS BIG like Minnelli's--*bIg time charmer* of people--charisma LOADS OF..AND IM 54

  • geil kuckt auf mich bin n hamster

  • Comment removed

  • hihi ich bin blond

  • so geil hab voll schotter jetzt ist auch super einfach

  • Liza Minnelli's finest moment.

  • i love their sparkly crotches lol

  • ehm ich bin erregt

  • No one ever captured 100% of Fosse's choreography like Liza. She's fantastic.

  • hiya übrigens hab was geiles gefunden habs bei mir stehn

  • My boyfriend broke up with me and I just got up and sang this loud and proud XD

  • @luffyduffy7817 You can never turn the Vinegar to Jam and he's better off without you. Whatever helps you get through it. If you weren't upset then you never loved him in the first place and he IS better off without you. Perhaps this is why he broke up with you. You really must be proud of yourself.

  • @luffyduffy7817 HAhahahaha!good for u!

  • @luffyduffy7817 i hope you were wearing her outfit and left his ass with blue balls

  • @luffyduffy7817 Yeah!

  • they're not men. yes, some of them are ugly women, but they all have breasts, you can see them in the other dance numbers. they are ALL women.

  • naa hab was geiles entdeckt haha

  • naja bin selber aus Frankfurt

  • ha das was ich entdeckt habe geht sowas von ab

  • Lovely performance by Liza!

She was only 25 years old at that time.

  • HOW can she be 5'4"?? THOSE LEGS GO ON FOREVER!!

  • @Sei1863 Everything I know has been a lie! xD

  • I had to do this in dance class last year... Had a chair and everything(:

  • 0:48-0:52 sounds like "Be Italian" from Nine. :oooo

    WHY IS THIS?!?!

  • @kittydeemime Rob Marshall directed Nine, and also directed Chicago which was choreographed by Bob Fosse who also choreographed this... I expect there's a chain of influence. Broadway will always be recognizable as Broadway!

  • hmz ich bin blond

  • I love this. "The continent of Europe is so wide.....but I do what I can inch by inch, step by step, mile by mile, man by man..... funny.

  • look how she moved before she started doing coke with scorsese

  • great quality, thanks for uploading :)

  • one of the best cinematic performances in history... ;D!

  • This reminds me of my ex LOL

  • This is wrong. Liza's character is suppose to be second rate. She is to good. The broadway show had and actress that could barely sing.

  • @Geo789C I don't agree. I think the portrayal of a woman who was immensely talented but just had too many demons to make it anywhere in real show business but slummy Cabarets was the better and more complex choice. It happens all the time.

  • oh so THIS is where Britney got the look... ^^

  • i cant stop singing this, a guy at work looked at me like i was crazy lol :)

  • Balls to you

  • Bob Fosse, you are ridiculously amazing.

  • She looks creepy and crooked toothed.

  • @KuraixOji Bollocks!

  • Really fuckin strange to southern american boy, but shes hot as fuck, there all flexible and synchronized pretty cool.

  • sexy and hot. Liza was and still is an amazing talent. Emmy Oscar Grammy Tony Golden Globe and just about every other award given,

  • This song really describes me right now.

  • What does Emcee whisper to Sally when she enters? It's been bugging me! But anyway, great performance!

  • Do you think her chair is nailed down for 1:50?

  • She shows you can be sexy and still keep some class, and not whore yourself out for publicity.

  • Liza Your A Goddess

  • I don't get why people think she's ugly. I mean, seriously, do a Google search for her. I think she's beautiful, and she hasn't aged too badly either.

  • @emmyaward7 thats not true the muscial wicked was amazing!

  • Cool

  • If you like the musical you should try reading goodbye to berlin by christopher isherwood that the film is based on.

  • @prettylittlescars Just finished it and enjoyed it. Very well-written and thought-provoking.

  • @NEOcreativegenius Glad you liked it. One of my favourite books ever written.

  • 98 people were expecting a strippers-act

  • love liza

  • Amazing song!

  • performing was certainly in Liza's dna.

  • @Undine those are dancer's legs baby! And the abs you need to do this dance correctly. FOSSE FTW!

J'adore this movie. Movies of musicals were so much better in the 70s.

  • I put my back out just watching this.

  • This song randomly popped in my head the other day! When I was younger my sister was absolutely obsessed with this musical. The whole soundtrack was drilled into my brain for an entire year it seemed. :D Good times. ;)

  • I'd like to fall into those eyes and never come back.

  • Forever my favorite.... Liza is a legend....

  • What a classy sexi broad!

  • I broke my wrist trying to do this. I should really leave it to the legends...will I never learn?

  • yes, yes song, yes... !!!! thanks for that song

  • I cant believe how she gets her leg on the damn chair at 2;01, I have been trying to learn this routine and it takes a lot....the thigh muscles that chick must have...

  • @Undine Me: Yeah right, that looks easy. (After 5 minutes of trying:) DAMMIT!!!

  • @Undine True acting takes true pain.

  • @Undine Wow,yeah that HAS to be real hard! I do bellydance and i sweat so much!..the performace is great, but you got to really EXERCICE! =(..

  • @Undine You are so right. I had a similar outfit to hers and so I thought I could pull this off fairly easily with the chair thing. Boy was I wrong :(

  • i love her voice :) can you please send me a song? i like it :)

  • I would love to see Gaga do a remake!

  • @PhillyAnnie I would actually watch that

  • @PhillyAnnie id actually watch it x if she did x

  • @PhillyAnnie I'd love to see Gaga spontaniously combust but we can't always get what we want

  • I'm sorry, I love her.... but all I can see is Lucille 2.

  • That must take a hell of a lot of leg strength.

  • "meine Herrn", that's still a real woman!!!

  • Press 8?

  • alan cumming destroys this

  • Wow... That's all I can really say... Just... WOW.

  • You can hire these ladies. Look up Cabaret Decadance - Discipline

  • I love this! I would give it one million stars if I could.

  • i love this choreography.

  • 98 people doesn't have ears and eyes....-.-

  • I would so love to be the star of the Broadway revival of Cabaret; the performances look like so much fun to do and I love Liza's character; acting is my passion

  • I love this film! Liza Minnelli was amazing! And this scene in particular had a major impact on contemporary cabaret and burlesque. Watch Chicago with Catherine Zeta Jones and Burlesque with Christina Aguilera. It's totally Cabaret/Liza Minnelli! I love all three movies because I'm really into the old fashioned/classic yet very stylish cabaret performances and costumes. And Chicago has that femme fatale/murder mystery/crime element which is one of my fav. film genres.

  • @chilvari

Not sure it's totally accurate to say that Chicago was influenced by Cabaret, since both of them (the stage versions, at least) were written by the same people.

  • Liza Minnelli was a goddess in this film

  • I'm so tiiiiiiiirrrrrrrreeeeeeeeddddddd.......

    Tired of playin' the gaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmeeeee.....

    Ain't it a cryin' shaaaaaaaammmmmmmeeeee.......

    I'm so tired.

    GODDAMN IT I'M EXHAUSTED

  • @ACNC1 no...

  • @ACNC1 No.

  • Sooooooo hot!

  • And so beautiful ,wundebar, eller så underbar.

  • OMG Now I know what was the inspiration for Christina Aguilera's Burlesque Number.... great ;)

  • @TheCrazyMakeUp oh yeah..she's loved that kind of stuff for years have you seen caberet properly? if not watch its not only great for this but its brilliant in so many other ways

  • Fantastic!

  • Ahhh I can't get enough of this!

  • Every time i see her face, it amazes me how much she resembles her mother.... RIP Judy Garland

  • The dancers in the chairs have to be in fantastic shape. I am doing that for dance class and it effing hurts like hell. Props to those girls

  • @lilmistressT and men alot are men dressed as women

  • @lilmistressT It hurts me just thinking about doing it. I wish I'd stayed in shape from when i used to dance :(

  • @lilmistressT The dancers are men!
