En parte es solo un efecto visual, y cuando gira significa que esta tocando y si lo pauseas para de girar, pero tambien cuando quieres acelerar la cancion, por decir 110bmp a 120bpm giras el plato para adelante, si la quieres poner mas despacio, 120bpm a 115bpm solo detienes el plato un poco hasta tener velocidad que deseas, al hacer eso tienes que mover el pitch, para mantener la cancion en la velocidad deseada. espero te ayude este comentario, puedes buscar aqui mismo beat match
everyone knows about cueslip problems, the 3500's had cueslip however denon came out with a update for them that solved everything.
update is easy as burning the update from the computer on to a cd and just playing it in your denons. BOOM updated and no more cueslip... 5500 update? probally out by now..
Ah the promise of updates. I purchased mine 2 months ago, Denon promised fix in 14 days... Then they announced it will be available Dec 1st... still to date there is no fix for the 5500.
the 3700 is the new one and is the best cd/midi player on the market. the 5500 is the previous version the only thing the 5500 has is that you can run it as two decks in one. so if your using a hard drive or a pc in midi mode you only need one. If however your going CD player route, deffo get two 3700's
The HS5500 is also an USB MIDI Controller with an internal sound card. Plug on your HS5500 to a laptop or macbook and use it with your favorite DJ software!
l0l dude using usb drives is cheap...you have to keep updating them cuz they dont have alot of storage and software is much more organized....wth do you mean by "data stick" though....usb drive?
Few days ago Denon DJ published new firmware - number 1300 for Denon DN-HS5500! I already have this update installed on my DN-HS5500 and I'm glad, because it fixes whole bunch of glitchs!
By the way: Person, who posted this vid - "DENONDJBENELUX" user - deleted from comments my honest opinion about DN-HS5500's glitchs. Censorship!

Just got some of these, the cue slip is really bad, Denon doesn't recognise there is a problem so will be trying another brand.

i love using the echo/loop feature.....denon really is converting djs with these spinning platters. i got the denon s3500.
