I remember being in the student section for that game...after that touchdown our whole section was layed out across the bleachers because we were celebrating so hard...it was like a domino effect...to bad it was all taken away with Nunns fumble...never heard the stadium go so quiet so fast.

Instead of trying to run against Texas' stout run defense at the time, we threw a quick pass that did work, only Nunn fumbled. It was GOOD coaching for that game, it was a mistake by Nunn. Maybe you should get the facts first.

I was at this game! I wish Nunn fricken caught that ball and we won the game! We probably would have gone 11-1 regular season because I think if we beat Texas, we would have beat Oklahoma State the next week! You can't blame that on Nunn. First of all the defender put his helmet right on the ball. Second of all Texas fumbled 4 times and got 3 back that's plain bad luck. And Grixby was too short too cover Sweed

Now that I've watched some of these Nebaska-Texas highlights from last season, (I was there, it was amazing, unfortunate result though) I wonder why there wasn't really more talk about this game. It was one of the finer games of the season in all of college football.

Nebraska had a very good drive at the end to put them up. Really caught Ross off guard on that play, but he made up for it later. Good game, Huskers.
