taylors Are by far the best acoustic guitars... find a cleaner sounding guitar than the Taylor 914ce. i garentee a fender can't even compare to a taylor. Let alone a 214 woulod sound better than any fender. Martin guitars are the sencond best but they still have a different sound than most other guitars.

I think If people knew what it took to make a taylor and copared them and didnt have a biast opinion they would honestly choose a taylor hands down, Bob taylor has completely changed the way guitars are stuctured as far as shims to regulate the stress on the neck due to diffent climates,for example, like colorado where the is alot of moisture in the air and u can return the guitar with free shipping and have your guitar tweeked to your specifications

I,ve yet to find a guitar that sounds that good for that price. I'm sure somthign out there is better for that price, there is always somthign better, but ive never found it in any of the other big names makers. We'll see tho. but for now, im stick'n to Taylor's Higher lines.

hes a pretty sweet player. i like the guitars sound. a bit to dark sounding for me. but it works great for his finger picking style. i wouldnt mind picking one of them up after i get my taylor. jsut gotta find one lol

A piece of wood has no idea what the brand name on the headstock is, I have tried hundreds of guitars. Most new Martins, Taylors and Gibson I have tried are dead. Usually the best guitar in the store is a cheaper one, e.g., an Alvarez, Washburn, Takimine, Ibanez. Let your ears and hands guide you, don't buy what you think you are "supposed" to buy. Try everything, from the bottom to the top.
I have 2 Taylors myself, and in my experiences they're always the easiest to play and have the sweetest sound. Go to a local guitar store and do some comparison yourself.
Taylor guitars are mass produced, overpriced, 100% machine made guitars. Why pay near handmade price for a machine made guitar!! A glued together 3 piece neck, come on! They should cost no more than $800. And yes, I do own one, which I am going to sell for a HANDMADE Eastman Guitar.
I LOVE my Big Baby Taylor! (15/16th size, not the "travel" version.)If you've got a budget of $400, you can't get a nicer tone, features and playability anywhere else!

I tried out several Baby Taylors and Little Martins. The Martins were much better. I bought one.
I'm not anti-Taylor. I do have a full size Taylor that I like. But the Little Martins totally kick butt. As do the big Martins.

Just bought my first taylor 114e It plays as well as wll as any decent guitar should. I bought mine for it`s sound ! I just love it.
