  • when you add a water conditioner to a new tank, are you supposed to put it in after the tank is completely full? or do you condition the water a little bit at a time then add it to the tank afterwards? or does it matter? I just got my 1st aquarium (60G) and im wondering how to go about it.

  • Nice setup! Please check out my 20 gallon tank!

  • that's a nice set up

  • co to meleš za stačky xD

  • about your penguin filters for those 2 years straight have you had to change the filter media?

  • need update with fish

  • cool setup!

  • nice setup!...i just followed your vid from the review you left on petsmart about your marineland filter. I have just brought the same...do you leave the "mid level strainer" open or closed on your tank?

  • I leave it half way open. Even on half... it does a great job!!

  • .....

  • pretty nice but the sand under u should get it blank not with color cuz it has some chemical that kills ur fishys it happened 2 me :(

  • Why not go all out with the 20Kness? Some miniature tottering columns, a Graveyard of Lost Ships? Giant Squid?

  • the bubbles do not shorten their life, my dad has had bubbles in his tank since 1996 and the same fish, they are still alive

  • Yeah. Agreed. Also I have turned the bubble bar way down.. it was kinda cranked up for this vid. =)

  • @omgcahley bubbles help the fish by adding oxygen flow. if anything they increase the life of the fish significantly.

  • i have bubbles and the fish love it!!!!

  • Gte rid of the bubbles, it stresses fish (and shorthens their life) and any good filter will provide enough oxygen to keep them happy.

  • yea i got rid of mine because 2 fish died and when the bubbles popped at the surface it splashed on the hood of the tank, causing lime buildup etc.

how do you get the bubbles to be that small?

  • Disculpen tengo un problema el agua de mi pecera esta muy borrosa la acabo de cambiar ase 10 días que pasa díganme por favor?

  • nice tank

  • Nice fish. How old are your tetras? Beautiful angelfish. Wow, I'm trippin'

  • where are the fish did your bublerator blow them out of the tank hehe it looks nice tho especialy with the bublerator

  • LOL I cranked up the bubbles for the vid.

I turned it back down after I shot this vid ;)

  • wonderful, what kind of fish, salt, fresh or trop. BTW what company filter do u have, i have heard great things about the emperor power filter

  • what did you put in it? looks pretty

  • y los peces?

  • r u going to post a video with your fish in the tank later? =D

  • good setup

  • i'm soon hopefully getting a little tank how long do i need to do this for?

  • to let it stabilize, let it sit for 3 days and then get some fish that you don't care if they die, then after a few days if there happy get the ones you want

  • ummm. not the best way to cycle your tank.

if you want to spare some fishies lives let your tank sit for at least a month...checking your ammonia and nitrate levels every week.

that way your tank will be perfect and your future fish will love you for it.

  • ha. that was to the guy saying to leave it for a couple days and add no name fish.

the poster's doing it right :P

  • is that a 10g?

  • It's a 20gal.

  • Hi, i've just got a fish tank and i'm new to it, could you tell me what the bubbles are that are coming from the bottom of the tank? (not the filter at the top)

  • It's a bubble bar. It just helps aerate the water, and it looks pretty. You can get em cheap at Petco and places like that.

  • YAY Beautiful and relaxing;)
