Bleach has around 218 chapters, and is still going, and it also has an anime focused on it, which has also been dubbed in english, and is shown on adultswim. His attitude makes everything obvious. Simmons lacks the credibility of an actual comic artist because he fails to demonstrate his understanding in basic in art and the process of making graphic novels. In other words, he doesn't speak like a true artist. "Drawn by me" sounds fishy to me. Its not a novel so he could have tried going into a bit of detail on how he conceived the visuals of the comic. He's presenting his "work" in a way as if it was easy for him to do and made for means of profit.

If he had indeed done as you claim, used attributes of one character (actually, he used a lot more characters), no one would be bothering him but you see, he actually traced image by image to a point of it being a mere copy of an existent work.
I suppose I could have Kubo Tite's (Bleach's creator) sense of humor though. Having his work stolen isn't bothering him much. What's screwing his head is knowing Gene Simmon's son is a comic artist. Heh.
