There is gonna be a season 3, but not like in Manga. I mean I think you have seen that in Manga, the acontecimientos are different by the anime episoades. It'll be out in Octomber 2011. Just wait a little more :)

I do truely wish for season 3 to come out, I live in Japan and speak some Japanese, but I want an English version to come out soon, but for the people up in Sendai, it will not be for many years until they are fully rebuilt. So I fear that it may take longer to get season 3 out because of this.
