  • Buffy Summers look alike

  • i have that mouse :)

  • lovely

  • My high school is actually awesome.

  • I paused at 1:34, then was dissapointed to find I couldn't answer the question...

  • omg i had the exact same kind of history teacher in high school

  • blluuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhh back to school on tuesday:(

  • Did you really come back on too sayI look fantastic ? Lol though I liked it

  • @itsacloudylife

In Canada it's grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. In the states it's freshman, sophmore, junior, senior. In Canada grade 12 students can also be called seniors.

  • im going to high school this september and im so frealing scared, kill me....

  • I dissected a pig lung once... I thought it was pretty interesting.

  • your 'new school clothes shopping' is way bettter than in england. almost EVERY school has a uniform. mine is a kilt and a thick scratchy jumper. Ughhh!!

  • lol, ilike how the teacher is just casually cutting up the animal when you're talking to him.

  • Frequently I have arguments with my own mum over why we shouldn't eat sheep or cows and stuff like that. I had the same argument with my science teacher.

  • When they make us dissect hearts, I threw up. All over the lab floor. That'll teach them. Vegetarians FTW. I've been veggie since birth,.

  • @TheAnomalousMe

I tried to be a veggiterrian, but it's really hard to avoid chicken in my house. Maybe I could do "no-meat-Wednsday"?

  • HAHA I'm home schooled, so i don't have to deal with any of that crap! And i get school done in 2-3 hours a day.

  • Do you wear that puppy jumper out? Cause I think it's the coolest sweater ever!

  • OMG I have the same mouse/rat

  • nice sweater!

  • haha i <3 the test

  • A North Dakota reference!!!!!! Woohoo, it exists!

  • i got lucky, and we weren't allowed to discect in my school unless you were in anatomy an physiology. and then you had to cut open a pig.

    my sister named hers gretchen.

  • At my school they would make it really hard on you. You had to memorize every part of the frog and then take a test on it if you didn't dissect. I decided to let my partner do all the work and then write the information down. I was only semi-vegetarian then. We had to dissect the frog, put it back in the bag, let it rot for two days, then look at its insides. I was so scared from that event and the horrid smell, I haven't eaten meat sense. It's been almost six years. I want my life back lol

  • i have that mouse! :)

  • i like her videos it's good

  • Is your "teacher written test" typed in gill sans ultra bold?

  • in our politics/community/economy-thingy-class when we're watching like a movie about racism and stuff like that we can just go out if it's too much for us, but I guess that's because our teacher is very tolerant there

  • Yeah I know! I'm gonna be an author or an interior designer. (or an auror)

"Well are you sure you can decorate my house?"

"Oh don't worry! I've cut open a rat!"

  • at least you GET to wear home clothes to school! in england we have to go in uniform grrrrr- its disgusting

  • i started school on august 17 this year. having ads out by august 4th is kinda normal for me but it also makes me very sad know that i have to go back to school so early.

  • The tests were HILARIOUS. :) :) :)

  • thumbs up if you paused it just to read what the hard question was

    i know I did

  • wow.. august 4, 2007 seemed like a long time ago... I was only 18 going on 19... now I'm 22.... alot of stuff has happened inbetween then.. I can't even remember back then..

and I definately can't remember anything from school... lol...

  • 1:00 - Bullshit!

  • If hi school is hell then hells not such a bad place. But I would not want 2 be there 4 eternity.

  • "If a train is leaving Denver at 65 miles an hour and another train is leaving Houston at the speed of the number of letters in George Washington's house's title divided by the last digit of the month in which the Declaration of Independance was signed, how much fuel would a third train need to get to North Dakota?" I LOVE this!

  • you're a veg since you were five? cool! i never knew, but i only started watching you recently. you're a delight to watch ^^

    i've been a veg since i was four, hehe:D

  • Creative writing is the collage major i'm going to be taking :) :)

  • I like dog sweaters....

  • you're a ray of fucking sunshine.

    also, dog sweater ftw

  • Vegetarian myself, but listen, you trust a doctor because he's gone through training. And that involved cutting open animals. If someone were operating on you, would you want them to have never cut open a real body before? Would you want medicine tested on people instead of animals? Well too bad because neither of those are ethical options. Ethics gets tricky. You're just grossed out. And you do grow out of that, because at 15 the logic part of your brain, the PFC, hasn't fully developed yet.

  • Aargh, I am actually really worried about the whole dissection thing... because I'm pretty sure my teachers think vegetarians eat chicken.

  • I feel your pain with the whole vegitarian "stage" (as various teachers call it). Didn't eat an evening meal for an entire week and three days just to prove to my dad I wasn't simply "being rebellious" :) Love your vids btw :) x

  • That is a super cute jumper! I'm not joking, I would totally wear that!

  • ur a vegetarian? me too!

  • @BeautyGirl3000 ME THREE! :D

  • haha that is how i feel about my teachers they suck luckly I haven't had to disect anything so when I do i'm going to say it's against my religion and can't does this.

  • ive been watching u for a day and ur hilarious

  • almost makes me thankful for my school uniform

  • ...I actually really like your hair at the end :3

  • Your videos are hilarious :) Keep it up, you're a lot of fun to watch!

  • OMG i wish you went to my high school, you'd so be my best friend. you're hilarious!

  • I love high school. it is so much better than middle school. i mean there is more drama and shit but that is because my school is so small and NOTHING ever happens so things r blown out of proportion.

  • Dear past Hayley,

I have come from the future to tell you it'll all pass and you'll have an awesome time in college. Just hang in there.

  • You've got featured videos! :)

Oddly enough, I found you at the beginning of the school year when I was searching 'high school'. Best result ever. Thanks.

  • i have the same mouse. :]

  • That question was hilarious. HAhahaha.

  • hayley, I know how you feel! We had to dissect a cat in Biology.

  • ohhhhhhh! i know the answer!, a train dosent use gallons of fuel, it uses pounds of coal!!! ♪☺

  • Haha gotta love when the old HGH vids show up on your "Recommended For You" section when NaNo-crastinating

  • It's totally different here in the UK. If you have ethical issues against dissecting the teacher just says "that's fine, just sit down and read the information on page ... "

  • @heslop01 lol, i read this comment wrong- 'if u have ethical issues againtst dissecting the teacher... '

  • yaay for dog sweaters haha xD

  • try dissecting frogs in SEVENTH grade! yeah! im gunna have to do that :'(

  • i had to do that in seventh grade... it was terrible :'[

  • I did that, too. At my old school, you started dissecting things in sixth grade.

  • sixth?????????????????

  • Yeah, my old school was kinda insane :/

  • i did too :(

  • lmao your funny :P,

i totally feel your pain.. i just started ninth grade..funnn!

  • i hate biology!!!! no cutting frogs!

  • didnt you finish high school?

  • Comment removed

  • right lol thanks nokorola

  • omg i'm going into 9th grade and taking biology this year. i completely forgot about dissecting things. in seventh grade i sprained my ankle the day before we had to dissect frogs and couldn't go to school for two days...

  • haha going back to hell i went back to hell a couple days ago i went back on the 4th the day u posted this video cool.

  • There's the sweater again, ha ha. Hey there, Hayley. I think I remember Office Max running some commercials proclaiming that kids going back to school was 'the most wonderful time of the year,' which always drove me crazy since I never wanted my summer vacation to end. I also remember dissecting a pig and rat in high school and owl pellets in middle school and like you, I could never get into it, but it's done now and I can say that I never got sick from it, thankfully. As always, stay blessed.

  • That was utterly priceless!! And as unbelievable as it sounds, in a small way at the very least, I feel (felt) your pain.

  • im english so i dont understand all the american grades, whats the english equivalent to 9th grade? or how old are you when you are in it?

  • 14 or 15 :)

  • @hayleyghoover I'm actually thirteen O.o

  • @hayleyghoover im 13 in 9th grade lol

  • 9th grade...usually 15 to 16. On a rare occasion, 17 or 14. 9th grade is generally the beginning of high school/secondary school, but it varies by state/district/public/private/home.

  • @itsacloudylife how old do you have to be to be in 9th grade where you live?

  • @XoXoWebkinzFreakXoXo 9th grade as i understand it is what we call year 10 in england x in year 10 you are 14-15 :) i am just finishing year 9and am going up to year 10 in september! so i guess that means that im in 8th grade??

  • @itsacloudylife yep. :) does that mean you would end school later? in the US, school goes to 12th grade

  • @XoXoWebkinzFreakXoXo here in the uk (bearing in mine i am about to go into year 10) school goes up to year 11 (15-16 yr olds) but you then have the option to carry on into 'sixth form' for another two years, which will end when you are 17-18 years old. THEN you can either work or go on to university or college which will get you a degree and a better job :)

  • @itsacloudylife so you have an OPTION to go to school after year 10?! lucky! here you can legally drop out at 16 but then you wouldnt get a good paying job at all! soo jealous! haha

  • @XoXoWebkinzFreakXoXo It sounds pretty much the same in that way, except we don't have middle school?? im a bit confused on what middle school is but for us, secondary school (high school) starts in year 7 (11-12 years old) :) x

  • @itsacloudylife some schools here do that to, it depends on what state and city that you live in. middle school (usually) goes from grades 6-8 but mine is 7-8. and middle school basically is a preperation for high school :)

  • @XoXoWebkinzFreakXoXo yeah i know that here in the UK we used to have middle school but then we got rid of it and now you only find it in like 'middle of nowhere' type places. so pretty much where half of my family lives :)

  • @itsacloudylife oh, i wish my school district got rid of middle school *tear* haha :) so was your middle school years 6-8 also?

  • @XoXoWebkinzFreakXoXo no i don't have middle school where i live, its only my grandparents, aunts and uncles that live in the middle of no where x i went to primary school untill i was 10-11 years old which is year 6 x and then i went to preimary school which is from year 7 (11-12 years old) and that is compulsary untill year 11 (15-16 years old) i am just finishing year 9 next week, and i am 14 at the moment :) x

  • @itsacloudylife ohh. summer vacation! :D haha did your primary school have a moving up ceromony type thing? my elementary & middle school did. :)

  • @XoXoWebkinzFreakXoXo yeah x in the last year (year 6) we went on a trip where we stayed a year at an activity centre and we had a leavers presentation for the parents, where we got some crappy yearbook and we acted out all the funniest things we did over our time at the school x then we had a leavers disco x where one of the mums arranged for three limo's to take us all there but forgot to invite me and my best friend :/ ha x we were like 10 at the time so we were sooo pissed :D you?

  • @itsacloudylife cool! i wish my school had the yearbook thing :) well 6th grade was just a simple moving up ceromony and a hip hop themed dance. then my 8th grade moving up cermony and earlier that year we had a feild trip type thing to a ranch and we had complete feedom like we couldve left if we wanted haha and there we also had a buffet and a dance in a bar. it was fun but the teachers were getting drunk.. lol xD it was pretty funny. :)

  • @itsacloudylife Freshman year is year 9 and so on and so on i belive 9th grade is 8th year (year 8 you chose witch you prefer) :-) x

  • @vampstirker10 yeah sounds about right! so if freshman year is year 9, what is the year after that? is it sophmore of something? i don't really understand what the names mean :/ because i have just finished freshman year on friday :)

  • @itsacloudylife YEAR TEN :)

  • @papergirlthoughts Yes? What about year 10? :) haha this was a year ago... i'm going into year 11 now!! :D My last year of secondary school before i go to a sixth form college :) So what is year 11 in grades? and is it sophmore or freshman?? @vampstirker10

  • Lmao, I failed Bio first semester because I was being a dumbshit and wasting time (plus not doing homework, class assignments, PROJECTS!) Jesus, looking back I'm amazed I ONLY got a 65.

Anyways, I pulled together second semester because of some stuff that happened and brought my grades up to a 90. I even bumped up my grade from the previous semester into a passing grade.

Good thing too, or else I would be in summer school right now.

    c:

  • I don't get it...what's wrong with teddy bear sweaters?

  • I know exactly what you mean. I planned to major in Journalism or English and today we had to do a FETAL PIG DISECTION!!!! Not only is it horribly wrong to do to animals (like not even giving them a chance at life) I'm pretty weak-stomached, so I kept gagging and people were looking at me like I was a moron.

  • Look, a knowledge of anatomy is useful for a writer.

As for how much fuel a third train would need to get to North Dakota, I have two questions: where is said third train starting (Dallas?), and where in North Dakota is it headed (Fargo? Pierre?)?

  • Your videos usually make me chuckle, but the bit after the music on this one... well... I was drinking coffee. Now I have to wipe down my monitor.

  • "Creative Writing"

    PWND

(this is the first and last time I will use that term)

  • I paused just to read the test.... do you have to do the math as long as you get the dates and names right??

  • great, i know EXACTLY what ur talking about, duck jc penny ads and DUCK high school

p.s. i used duck cause im not in the mood to curse

  • I'm afraid of high school....

I don't know what to expect....

    WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!

    I hate school!!

"It's hard getting excited about going back to hell."

  • I love that tacky sweater! people at my school wear them with skinny jeans and ankle boots.

  • i know it has been in almost every video

  • i think you'd be great pursuing an acting career!

  • really?

im glad u can admit you, wowraider4ife, are ugly.

  • "It's hard getting excited about going back to hell."

    I. Love. That. Line. <3

  • Her high school is actually called "Hell High School". Haha, yeah, but it is a genius line!

  • Oh, wow. lol. That's even more hilarious. I wish my school was called Hell.

I bet some parents petitioned to get the name changed. :P

  • the whole education system sucks i would have a better chance at being home schooled even though im a junior (11th)

  • wow the teacher written test problem is insane!

my teacher either gives a extremely hard test... or an even harder test

  • i agree

im one of the people in my grade and i can say who i am, what i believe and i know what i like/ dislike. i know who i am. im only in 8th grade but some of the other kids dont do anything or have anything they are passionite about or like to do. they just go home and watch tv and at school they follow what everyone else does. idk its wierd. meanwhilee im involved in YT, HP fandom, traveling making so many friends all over. idk its just wierd

  • This is why we British have school uniform lol

  • i have to wear a uniform here! and the bad part its like a tux i have to wear a Tux in gym!

  • Haha shame ^.^

We were originally going to have a pinnafore *Spellcheck* in our uniform (we are a Girls School by the way - and don't say we're all lesbians because we're not and if you say we are it just goes to show your ignorance) but we ended up having these jumpers which are ok really but are F-R-E-E-Z-I-N-G in the winter!

And our teachers say we can't wear vests because it's 'not part of the school uniform'.

    What a wonderful life I lead ^.^

  • Oh how I shared that pain. Always a week after Christmas with the overtly insulting "Back to school" catalogues. Of course, here is Australia, Christmas is in Summer, so essentially it spells "The end of Summer." I hate them all so much. They killed my youth. D'X

  • *bursts out laughing* "Creative Writing."

  • I agree with you wholeheartedly...many people try to change me every day, but I can't really change just because they want to. Great video, as always. :D

  • "You'll grow out of that"... People keep telling me about that for doing volunteer work and being an enviormentalist. SO annoying.

  • @ChrisMcHugh How dare people suggest you may think of helping others besides yourself and protect the world for future generations. The nerve.

  • I had to watch this because I start school tomorrow! :(

  • As did I.

  • haha that why in australia we have uniform :P lol

  • Yep...Ireland the same...ya think they'd make a uniform that actually looks semi-presentable...but no....Our whole uniform is grey..how drab can you get!?

  • I agree highschool is the worst place in the world.

Bio is so hard i failed second semester.

    Highschool really does ruin lifes.

  • OMG! I have that same mouse! xD

  • OMG SAME!!

  • Lawlz! xD

  • you make me laugh so much, this is brilliant :D

  • that's such a nice room that you film in

  • But the saving beauty is that you will be freer, then.. free to bind yourself as you will.. to choose your own way and make your home.

    No more rats and algebra.

  • Yeah, they're likely going to tell you the same sort of crap at freshman orientation when you get to college, too. "These'll be the best years of your life." But "You can't carry on like you did in highschool, here." Same "you're finally in big kid school now" trope (here this word means "rancid festering bullocks") they've recycled since preschool. But you won't believe them; they're so transparently full of tihs elggum.

  • i fell of the floor laughing at 1:34

  • Haha, the doggie sweater shows up everywhere!! :]

  • Your Lucky You Dont Need To Go Shoping For Uniform! NOTHING FITS AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH And The Blazers You Have To Wear Make You Want To Commit Suicide! :(

  • Are u really a vegitarian ?

  • haha i love that the mouse had a fork in it too. lol Don't worry hun, it gets better in college. Harder school, but more freedom!

  • high school is hell. especially when youre forced to take college classes =[ and do lots of work over the summer.

  • Oh my gosh, I have to take college classes tooooo. :(

  • haha, my sad face didn't work before.

    =[

  • what are college classes?

  • well, some high schools offer advance placement courses. if you do well enough and pass the exam, the college of your choice can give you a credit for the class.

  • Is the summer homework only in the US, or is it also in Canada?

  • i dont know about canada's summer homework umm . . . policy thing. at my school, though (in the us), we have summer reading for english and assignments for ap classes.

  • I think it's better here in Canada-- my science teacher would respect if you were against it.

  • there are tons of policies and alternative projects to disection.

  • I know what you mean...ever since I was small, nuts make me gag--I just don't like them. You won't believe the number of people that are telling me that I'm going to change. I don't like nuts, and that's THAT! *deep breath* But I'm not in high school ... yet. DX

  • "Go out in the hallway and find some whales to save" xD

    I couldn't stop laughing!

  • In some ways, you're very mature for your age, and I can see why high school might be hellish for you. Love the vids:)

  • I had the same route in biology. Because I refused to do rat disection (I too am a vegetarian) I was sent into the hallway with a 20 page (no joke) packet as punishment.

  • Yes, you look fantastic...

well... knowledge is not pain, its a virtue... i guess... i am still studying (university, well not this year but i will be back to finish it) and i am not afraid of it. i am more afraid of me...

    Anyway, keep it up.

  • is ninth grade like 3rd year in Europe?

great video, and most europian schools require uniforms, count yourself lucky

  • HAHA!Go out in the hallway and find some whales to save!EPIC LOLS!

  • Are you careful about getting your protein? At least 60 grams a day!

100 grams would be ideal.... but to get that much protein from non-meat sources it takes a lot of calories.

    Study your choice....please!

  • umm... im a vegatarian, and tofu and beans have been proven to have more protein then meat..plus meat has added fat.... vegatarians get around just fine thanks....

by the way.. I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!, i feel the exact same way about hell..

  • To get 100 grams of protein...... with lean meat.... 500 calories tops.

non meat sources..... over 2500 calories. Many vegetarians do not mix up the protein sources to get a well rounded protein source.

All I am saying is it is not as healthy as you think!! We are designed to eat meat. Grains and dairy is what is terrible in our diets. Lay off the pasta and white flour and eat some meat=)

  • I think that because we are capable of eating meat, does not mean that we were designed to eat it.

  • but we are designed to eat meat and fruits and veggies but not very much grains and not dairy.

How many hunter gathers 10,000 years ago were vegetarians?

    Answer........NONE

  • Hayley's been a vegitarian for almost her whole life.

Do you really think she doesn't know what she's doing!

  • It is not the worst way to eat..... just not the best..... thats all.

  • lol, your really pretty, lol and i Heearrrtt your videos, haha, there funny (:

  • o
