The Inflation Tax caused by the FED's massive printing of money (which I equate to a heroin addict who has developed a tolerance to a drug and thus needs more to illicit the same response) causes the value of existing money to drop. So one could call it an Invisible Tax.

Fractional reserve banking is simply put a method to destroy a nations (or now in the last thirty years the WORLDS) economy.
The solution is for the government monopoly on money to end. We need to allow Gold,Silver, and other experimental forms of money to flow. There must also be heavy fraud laws, to well prevent fraud (not regulations, fraud law. There is an important distinction between these)
Treasury perhaps even Congressional Control. and they must change the way we value our currency. It must be pegged to production and be opened up to public scrutiny to prevent excessive printing.
But more importantly Competition must be legalized in respect to Monetary Policy.
Not just gold and silver, but perhaps the implementation (via the free market) of Energy Banking Systems.
Let me explain, as this is a way to improve our renewable energy technology without force of government.
If one is capable of producing enough energy to feed the grid, it could then be entered on a card or such, this is to say. If I produce 1000 kWh, i would have a credit for that placed on my card attached to a digital account. I may get 900kWh credit (energy banks need to make a profit to) this would translate into buying power via the cost of electricity per kWh.
All we need to do to create permanent prosperity is to end Government VIOLENT monopoly on money.

fair enough but far left what exactly goes for left right politics in the states if the republicans under king george can be called far left can you explain that to me it seems completly ridiculous as far as your opinion on war goes thats pretty centerted if you ask me my understanding of left is anything but neocon which l would consider far right bordering on fascism thanx for the response p.s. was goldwater a good conservative and true republican in your opinion ?
What FedSteals said. Liberals are actually more warlike than conservatives (Clinton bombed several countries in the 90s with the real conservatives (and party bias neo-cons) screaming murder at him). Several conservatives were outraged at Bush's invasion of Iraq. The typical Paleoconservative platform isn't even just a withdrawal from Iraq, but from every country we occupy in the world. We have troops and bases all over the place in grand imperial fashion, when did Obama rally against THAT?
For one, Graham is not a Conservative, he is a Liberal in Conservative clothes. He is for illegals invading America. Conservatism is about the freedom of America, loving God, loving freedom and loving each other.
bullshit only in texas does that shit fly forget graham what does conservitism have to do with freedom thats a liberal value thanx for the reply really enjoying this defining political labels and such don't know if this is the right blog for that
GEORGE BUSH IS A CONSERVITIVE not a liberal don't much care for clintons Jimmy Carter was the most honest pres; you ever had you won't have socialism of any kind till you have universal health care like here in Canada true democracy and liberalism will always lead to that and what you call liberals are just more of the same REP. DEM. ALL BULLSHIT left and right wing of the business party of America
Jimmy Carter was the worse President we've ever had. With no major crisis going on, his energy policies almost ruined us. 8 percent unemployment. Ronald Reagan pulled us out and added two million jobs to the economy. He is in bed with terrorists dude, read his freaking book and see it for yourself. Conservatism not Republicanism is what we need.
You actually believe that nonsense all Ronald Reagan did was tell you the lies you wanted to believe and if telling the truth is being in bed with terrorists well l'm for that and hey and wasn't Ronnie a Repulican and a Democrat oh yeh and an actor A BAD ONE AT THAT l suppose you give him credit for dismantling the soviet union as well it's all a con and easy to see if you want to but l guess you want to believe your leaders tell the truth and your country is perfect. THINK THANX
Ronald Reagan was the greatest President this nation has ever had. He single handandly dropped unemployment about four points. He took the extreme tax burden off the people. Yes, he did end the cold war, I don't think America is perfect, but it's amazing everyone want to break in to live here.
You really believe that wow ,its not that the States is all bad there is a lot that we admire in Canada and l would imagine around the World but not Reagan that phoney corporate shill l don't understand why so many can't see that Gorbachev ended the Cold War and the soviet union imploded on it self that would have happen whoever was pres. Your right a lotof people would like the opportunities you have there but your health care is a national shame and God willing that will change thanx again
2) And Bush's policies let more in than any democrat ever period.
3) Taxes are a threat to the individual, It represents theft through force of government. The biggest tax though, and unfortunately the one that few seem aware of is the "Inflation Tax" which the "Federal Reserve" is to blame for.
4) Carter was an idiot, What you seem to be missing though is that Israel is as dangerous to us as the Islamic Nations.
5) Who Clinton has sex with is a non issue, he did
many other things that are far more dangerous to us. Selling military secrets to hostile nations (including Israel), Mortgaging the future so that future presidents would take the heat for his big spending, the border issue, etc, etc.
6) Oh yes Drill here Drill now I totally agree. Nuclear Power as well, people don't seem to research all the advances in Nuclear Energy that now make it the greenest and most efficient source in the world.
Neo-Cons. They are really the same. Big Government Big Spending, Police state, ,etc etc.
People need to wake up to the Republicrat system.
8) Socialism... No I somewhat disagree. What the Republicratic Democan's seem to be pushing for is something new. It seems largely based on a Mussolini style philosophy of Fascism(Economic Fascism, but with a blending in of Military Fascism).
Next post I will mention more problems with more solutions (but no one in position to solve them will)
Your a moron. What Obama is doing by taking over everything is far closer to Mussolini, fascism and totalitarianism than any Conservative. Conservatives believe in individual liberty and religious freedom. I assume you voted for the anointed one, Obama.
that would deal with the more than 54TRILLION in social security/medicare entitlement programs. Allowing people to collect their benefits while allowing ME TO OPT OUT OF A FAILED SYSTEM.
The only guy that honestly believes in conservatism.
The only guy that would dismantle the IRS.
The only guy that would prevent WORLD WAR THREE.
Wake up, the Republican party has been Hijacked by big government LIBERALS LIKE BUSH.
WAKE UP DAMNIT, The only thing you are right about here texan is that we are
Unlike you, I live in a 9-12 world. The Bush administration stopped about a dozen planned attacks on this country. If the CIA or whoever wants to listen to phone calls or whatever, go right ahead. Get them before they get us.
When George Washington was leading his army, if they even thought someone was aiding the enemy, they took them out and hung them on the spot. No trial. How is that for rights? Leaders make hard decisions and do what they have to do.
The founding fathers didn't have terrorists hiding among them waiting to murder thousands of innocents. They knew who the enemy was. This enemy hides among us. If they have to tap a bunch of muslims phones and spy on them, so be it. Remember 9-11? I don't think you do.
lol i love the name calling on this argument.... anyone who doesn't support hyperinterventionism or jingoist foreign policy is a "Jew hater"... our perpetual war in the Middle East hurts Israel too....
i guess they'll have to come for everyone else before they come for you for you to realize that we are living in a police state. We've got more terrorists in power in elected offices in this country than jihadists around the world. we should never sacrifice our freedom for security.
Who Clinton had sex with IS my business because he worked for me when he was doing it in the Oval office with a girl half his age. He did it on company time dude.
2) we americans have to quit seperating between gop and dem - now think to yourselfs..what was our forefathers...in oder to vote , do your research on all of them..them pick the right ones for the job..even if you have to keep switching..
S.C YOUR JOB IS TOO GET CONLEY IN OFFICE ..we have talked to him many times..he stands for the people...not the neo-cons - before you vote- RESEARCH!
Nice coverage. The fact that there are those jumping on board to support the constitution, civil liberties and freedom regardless of their party speaks volumes. Toss out the cap. "R" and "D" and show past voting records and stance on the issues.
Great video. Glad to see so many Ron Paul candidates stepping up. I personally wouldn't have even mentioned that neocon in hiding Bob Barr though. Anyone really think he left his buddies in the CIA? Probably just as much as Anderson Cooper (Vanderbuilt) "left".
It doesn't matter what Party WE Americans belong to....Both Parties have betrayed the American People. Wake Up Fokes...VOTE the Issues be DAM the Party Labels.I just donated to Conley. I live in Pennsylvania and after last summer's fighting Graham's SNEAKY moves to SLIP Illegal/Amnesty/Immgration Bill thru in the Dead of night,On July 4 Wk end &Days when Most Americans were NOT Paying ATTENTION.Lindsey &his Amnesty Gang were Sneaking through Halls of DC trying to get other Weasels to sign up.
Lindsey is the worst of all senators. He is an embarasment to the south, and the American people. Please South Carolina, vote democrate this time! PLEASE.
McCain is about as conservative as Paris Hilton and Doogie Howser [ who plays for the Other Team]. He might have changed his mind about torture [ which is a constitutional right in this Americans opinion] but its too little too late. Sure, he talks a good game about national insecurity, but anyone who took a deferment during the war on Vietnam aint no patriot. Semper fi.
I am writing Ron Paul in on the ballot and so is my whole family. We all should reach across party lines this year and Vote for the American People. I support all canidates who support RON PAUL.
it is both unsettling and inspiring for me that the most revolutionary politics in America right now are libertarian... my utopia would be an admittedly uneasy union between the socialists and the libertarians against the common enemy: total bullshit (expelled from the orifices of Graham et al.), at least in the meantime... how else can we stop it from burying us all?
Jobs & Immigration: Corporate greed is robbing us of our jobs and driving our down our wages. Bob Conley supports secure borders. Corporations that fuel the immigration fire must pay the price. Greedy corporations and unscrupulous businessmen profit, while our working families and taxpayers foot the bill for services for illegals. This is corporate welfare, and it must end.
The legal importation of foreign workers is also driving down wages, and placing Americans in unemployment lines. This is wrong, and must end. Policy needs to change and should be based on what is good for our workers, our families, and our communities -- not the bottom lines of corporations and their lobbyists' demands!
Read "Ain't My America" by Bill Kauffman on the history of antiwar conservatism, not just about conservative Republican, but also conservative Democrats and independents who oppose war and meddling in other country's affairs.
According to yt5454, John Kerry and Hillary Clinton are conservative because they voted for "conquest" in Iraq. And Hillary is even more conservative because she said she would obliterate Iran if they attack Israel.
Only amnesty could be considered a "liberal" position (and thats debatable)
Liberals, for most part, have opposed the war in Iraq, and an attack on Iran
What you've got here is a battle of a Neocon vs a Paleocon, with the Neocon having big business interests at heart, and Paleocon having populist leanings
They may not be holy, but they are correct. That's something that conservatives can never say.
In fact, that's a pretty good definition: Conservatives are holy but wrong, and liberals are not holy, but right. Who would you rather have running the government?
Liberal policies are what got us into the mess we are in now. From Liberal monetary policies to the Liberal Nation building policies that we've taken up overseas, the politics of government interventionism has bankrupted us and pushed our military to the breaking point. Bush and the rest of the Neocons are not conservative, they just pretend to be. If you want to know what they really are, just take off the neo suffix.
Fascists stressed patriotism, military strength, and conformity, not high priorities among liberals...in fact the liberals of germany, the Social Democrats, were among the first to arrested when the Nazis took power
Liberals stress liberty (thus the term liberal) our founding fathers were liberals, just social liberals (whats called liberal now) and classic liberals (whats called libertarians now) split over economic policy in the 19th century
Yeah, yeah. Hitler was a liberal. Fascists are liberals. Bush was a conservative, until he fucked up so badly that even republicans could see it, then he became a liberal.
To people, and I use that term loosely, like you, "liberal" = "bad", regardless of any meaning or context or sense of any sort.
No. The meanings of the terms have evolved. The framers of the constitution were considered liberal in their day, in the sense that they were revolutionary. Wilson was liberal=WW1. F.D.R was a liberal=WW2. J.F.K, liberal=Vietnam. If you look at a survey of recent history, you'll see that these new globalist liberal policies have caused most of the wars of the 19th and 20th centuries.
You are completely full of shit, as is usual for a conservative. FDR was semi-liberal. None of the others were.
And when you blame the Vietnam War on Kennedy, you are lying, as is usual for a conservative. That war was escalated tremendously under Johnson, a moderate under extreme pressure from conservatives, and Nixon, an extreme conservative.
Wars of conquest, like Vietnam and Iraq, ALWAYS come from conservatives. Always.
Well, if ur saying that "conservatives"=war and "liberals"=peace, then ur looking at the world in black & white. I believe a true conservative is libertarian, and libertarian/constitutional views have always been against big government and against entangling political and economic alliances, the things that get us into most wars.
In George Washington's farewell address, he warned against getting involved in the political affairs of Europe, creating political parties, and entangling alliances.
No. Entangling alliances were what started the whole mess of WW1. Serbia declared war on Bosnia, then Germany declared war on Bosnia, France declared war on Germany, Germany on GB... All because of entangling alliances. And as we know, WW2 was just a sequel of WW1. And FDR has been trying to get us into WW2 for years before Pearl Harbor. The Japs had good reason to attack us. We had declared economic war through sanctions.
WW1 caused WW2. WW2 caused the Cold War. The Cold War caused Korea and Vietnam. Our Alliance with GB was one reason we got into WW2. Alliance with France a reason we got into Nam.
Well u obviously don't have a great conception of history. These government interventions r not a series of isolated incidents. They're all parts of the larger movement toward world domination by the global elites. The military industrial complex & global corporations have nothing 2 do w/ party lines. They often influence govt. policy while operating above it's reach. The truth is that both parties have more obligation 2 these globalist forces than 2 the ppl, & those who don't I guess "suck."
yt5454, instead of a bunch of name calling, why dont you give evidence for your claims? at least tell us what exactly is idiotic or bs. i'm a democrat and pretty liberal but you make us look bad.
i'm not saying you have to explain to me, i'm saying if we are going to persuade the masses and win elections as democrats we have to convince people using evidence that republicans are liars. the way you simply call them names and not give any specific evidence persuades no one and makes democrats look bad.
Evidence is available by the gigaton, so much that everyone has seen many examples.
What's the point of explaining every single detail? Those who know the truth don't need my help. Those who claim not to believe the proof are Fox Newsers who will not listen to ANYTHING that makes sense, let alone something from lil' ol' me.
The republican party is corrupt through and through, and there are NO people who have not seen the proof. There are only people who like it that way, and those who don't.
Well if you look back at the history of the Neo-Conservative movement they were Democrats that defected to the Republicans and took quite a few of there social policies with them.
Conservatives. liberal polices while they have good intentions have been proven time and again to cause more problems then solutions from welfare, to gun control, to just about everything else in between. While the are right on issues dealing with personal freedom issues most of the time that same government that they don't want to take our freedoms for some reason can handle fiscal policies and deal with economic issues. It's a rather weird love hate relationship.
Do you know what a liberal policy is? Nation building, like we're doing in Iraq right now, is a LIBERAL foreign policy. Government intervention in general, at home or abroad, is considered liberal policy. If we were 2 institute a national health care system, it would be considered a LIBERAL domestic policy. The fact that Democrats have come out against the war doesn't change the fact that Democrats/Liberals were traditionally pro-war/interventionist & Republicans/Conservatives anti-intervention.
As for 1984, I never liked Orwell that much. I think he was off a bit in his predictions. Aldous Huxley was smarter. He predicted that governments would use less violent means to control their populations. Orwell thought that a time would come when governments would burn all the history books. Huxley predicted that, in time, technology would allow people to become so distracted with entertainment and propaganda that they would simply no longer care to read them.
Liberals used to care about personal freedom, logical government policy, and were anything but communists. But then LBJ, Tipper Gore, and Joe Lieberman came along.
Lindsay Graham represents the big business wing-elitist wing of the Republican Party. Bob Conley is the kind of mainstream values Democrat that we need more of in Washington.
Long gone are the days I voted Republican just to keep what I thought was the bigger liberal in their democrat opponet out of office. I learned a long time ago you defintely can't cast your vote based on the party they're in. I honestly never thought I'd ever vote for a Democrat but if someone like Conley came along he'd have my vote in a heartbeat.
It's nice that there are still a few people around who are willing to vote their conscience and philosophy, and not just for their party. Too Many Americans view the whole Republican vs Democrat thing the way they view their favorite Football Team...Come hell or high water, they're gonna cheer for their teem. Great for sports, not so great for Politics. As Always, great job SA, always look forward to your videos.
Great video with well-stated information! It truly is time that we all start paying attention to what a politician's principles and policies are, rather than whether they are a "D" or an "R". Do they support the Constitution and the Bill of Rights? Then that is who I am for. The protection of these documents, the law of the land, is the only thing which guarantees our freedom.
I love it. Stop this party bickering and talk about the people and freedom. thank you for this, it's an inspiration. I would vote dem too if they wake up and get it.
I used to like Graham because he would stand up for veterans, but he's abandoned all that now & started goose-stepping behind Bush.
I hope he loses in SC, but the truth will need to get out on Graham. I'm afraid too many ppl in SC don't know of all the crap Graham's been doing lately.
WTG. Everyone who is for liberty and keeping our Constitution and our US sovereignty..PLEASE join the Campaign for Liberty. It does not matter what party you come from. We need to unite. Find the site and JOIN today.
The problem is the The Federal Reserve Bank, The IRS, and the illegal, immoral, unconstitutional tax. Tax is just another name for theft, stealing, a violatin of the eighth commandment of GOD. We are not debt slaves, people reject tax, free humanity.
I consider myself a progressive liberal, but with a number of conservative fiscal views. I think it would be nice if people took the time to look at what their representatives TRULY stand for, instead of what they say. A Common Sense political party would never work, but it sounds like an idea we all could agree on.
What is going on in South Carolina? Tell me people like AnonymousBChurch don't really still exist. I tell you, that's what bugs me about the South...there is still a large redneck racist hillbilly contstituency that occasionally shows it's true colors in broad daylight. Being a racist homophobe today is like wearing bell bottom blue jeans and earthshoes...ugly and out of style.
jlailman the funniest part is that the fag Republicans like to say I'm some hillbilly redneck while the Urban, City, Libertarian fag Republicans like to pretend that I'm some liberal urbanite.
Meanwhile the Republicans are still openly promoting fag torture while saying they are against fag marriage. South Carolina is a joke to ALL nations now.
"You will become a hated thing to the nations where the Lord sends you; they will laugh at you and make fun of you." Deuteronomy 28:37 (New KJV)

South Carolina Sodomites hate Graham, Sodomite, since he "spilled the beans" about the Republican party's faggot sodomite torture of innocent children, women, and men in Abu Ghraib and other places in Iraq.
SC spends so much time and energy trying to prove they are "Christian" with their "churches" on every corner; they are fags (Ez 16). Granier said "as a [so-called] "Christian" I knew it was wrong, but as a South Carolinian, I love to make a Man piss his pants." Enjoy Hell Sodomite SC!
I don't censor any comments here, but I must say, I could care less about the sexuality of either Graham or Conley. What I do care about is the future of my country, which has much more to do with domestic security and spending and foreign wars - and spending - than sexual proclivities.
I'm not politically correct. I just don't get such thinking. It's absurd.
I would take a gay Bob Conley over a straight Lindsey Graham, any day of the week.
Why am I not surprised Ron Paul didn't win South Carolina... they voted for Lindsey Graham.

Oh really? What has Liberalism done for America, let's see,
1-Extreme homosexual rights.
2-More illegals, more benefits for them.
3-Taxes taxes taxes.
4-Jimmy Carter, a friend of every terrorist and an enemy of Israel.
5-Bill Clinton screwing in the White House and getting away with it.
6-More dependence on foreign oil...DRILL HERE DRILL NOW.
7-The worse approval rating for any Congress in United States history.
8-Socialism.
How many do you want me to list? I'm running out of letters...
longtalltexan63 3 years ago
GEORGE BUSH IS A CONSERVITIVE not a liberal don't much care for clintons Jimmy Carter was the most honest pres; you ever had you won't have socialism of any kind till you have universal health care like here in Canada true democracy and liberalism will always lead to that and what you call liberals are just more of the same REP. DEM. ALL BULLSHIT left and right wing of the business party of America
bastardrob 3 years ago
Jimmy Carter was the worse President we've ever had. With no major crisis going on, his energy policies almost ruined us. 8 percent unemployment. Ronald Reagan pulled us out and added two million jobs to the economy. He is in bed with terrorists dude, read his freaking book and see it for yourself. Conservatism not Republicanism is what we need.
longtalltexan63 3 years ago
You actually believe that nonsense all Ronald Reagan did was tell you the lies you wanted to believe and if telling the truth is being in bed with terrorists well l'm for that and hey and wasn't Ronnie a Repulican and a Democrat oh yeh and an actor A BAD ONE AT THAT l suppose you give him credit for dismantling the soviet union as well it's all a con and easy to see if you want to but l guess you want to believe your leaders tell the truth and your country is perfect. THINK THANX
bastardrob 3 years ago
Ronald Reagan was the greatest President this nation has ever had. He single handandly dropped unemployment about four points. He took the extreme tax burden off the people. Yes, he did end the cold war, I don't think America is perfect, but it's amazing everyone want to break in to live here.
longtalltexan63 3 years ago
You really believe that wow ,its not that the States is all bad there is a lot that we admire in Canada and l would imagine around the World but not Reagan that phoney corporate shill l don't understand why so many can't see that Gorbachev ended the Cold War and the soviet union imploded on it self that would have happen whoever was pres. Your right a lotof people would like the opportunities you have there but your health care is a national shame and God willing that will change thanx again

1) answer is states rights.
5) Who Clinton has sex with is a non issue, he did
ConstitutionSupportr 2 years ago
many other things that are far more dangerous to us.
7) Congress does suck, the whole Progressives and
ConstitutionSupportr 2 years ago

Leaders make hard decisions and do what they have to do.
longtalltexan63 2 years ago
Illegal search and seizure was part of the reasoning for the Revolutionary war sir..

WAKE UP!!
BUSH Wasn't even a Republican. Republicans fight for Individual Sovereignty, Bush did not.
Republicans fight for limited government, Bush did not.
Republicans fight for lower deficits, Bush did not.
Until the Republican party was HIJACKED, it was a party of peace.
ConstitutionSupportr 2 years ago 2
Do you remember the days of Goldwater???
That was a Republican party.
You sir are defending EVERYTHING THE FOUNDERS FOUGHT AGAINST.
Good job, your a real Patriot justifying an unconstitutional government.
Until you can understand that the Patriot Act, was a near MIRROR of the Enabling Act,
and that this is a Bipartisan effort to destroy this country you will not be able to prevent Obama from doing what he is doing.
Unity is needed here, and Republicans are just as to blame as the Dems.
ConstitutionSupportr 2 years ago 2
The founding fathers didn't have terrorists hiding among them waiting to murder thousands of innocents. They knew who the enemy was. This enemy hides among us. If they have to tap a bunch of muslims phones and spy on them, so be it. Remember 9-11? I don't think you do.
longtalltexan63 2 years ago
When Bush declared the Constitution a "Damned piece of Paper" how did you feel?
The difference between you and I is that I look at foreign policy before 9-11.
The policy that created extremism in the middle east, is still in practice.
It started with the creation of Israel.... come on guy Palestine was a beautifully cultured place pre-Israel.
We displace countless people, many were murdered. all to give property from one people to another.
Just like Obama is doing to us now.
ConstitutionSupportr 2 years ago
Then with the 1953 Iranian coup d'état, things started getting out of hand.
Look further than a decade please.
By Bush's policy the founding fathers would be no more than terrorists.
Youtube search, FEMA founding fathers and you will find a video of FEMA calling the founding fathers TERRORISTS.
That is the view of Bush/Cheney and it is the view of Obama/Biden.
Look further than a decade good sir, you will learn a lot.

LookBetter4Ever 3 years ago

And Hillary is even more conservative because she said she would obliterate Iran if they attack Israel.
cushmandavis 3 years ago
"John Kerry and Hillary Clinton are conservative because they voted for "conquest" in Iraq."

antipyrene 3 years ago
I guess you dont know what Gramnesty stands for! Open borders, amnesty for illegals, unconstitutional war in Iraq, and war in Iran!
LookBetter4Ever 3 years ago
Only amnesty could be considered a "liberal" position (and thats debatable)
Liberals, for most part, have opposed the war in Iraq, and an attack on Iran
What you've got here is a battle of a Neocon vs a Paleocon, with the Neocon having big business interests at heart, and Paleocon having populist leanings
No liberals involved

yt5454 3 years ago
Yes and Liberals are the holiest of holy on the political spectrum. [/sarcasm]
purplecharger88 3 years ago
They may not be holy, but they are correct. That's something that conservatives can never say.
In fact, that's a pretty good definition: Conservatives are holy but wrong, and liberals are not holy, but right. Who would you rather have running the government?
yt5454 3 years ago
Liberal policies are what got us into the mess we are in now. From Liberal monetary policies to the Liberal Nation building policies that we've taken up overseas, the politics of government interventionism has bankrupted us and pushed our military to the breaking point. Bush and the rest of the Neocons are not conservative, they just pretend to be. If you want to know what they really are, just take off the neo suffix.
ChrisF116 3 years ago
This country has been run by arch-conservatives for decades. We've NEVER had a liberal government.
You remind me of the guy who said that Hitler was liberal. Fucking nuts.
yt5454 3 years ago
Hitler was a liberal. A national socialist, aka fascist. Thats what the Nazis were. Doesn't mean liberals are inherently evil either.
purplecharger88 3 years ago
Thats absolutely ridiculous
Fascists stressed patriotism, military strength, and conformity, not high priorities among liberals...in fact the liberals of germany, the Social Democrats, were among the first to arrested when the Nazis took power
Liberals stress liberty (thus the term liberal) our founding fathers were liberals, just social liberals (whats called liberal now) and classic liberals (whats called libertarians now) split over economic policy in the 19th century
antipyrene 3 years ago
Yeah, yeah. Hitler was a liberal. Fascists are liberals. Bush was a conservative, until he fucked up so badly that even republicans could see it, then he became a liberal.
To people, and I use that term loosely, like you, "liberal" = "bad", regardless of any meaning or context or sense of any sort.
You are insane. Go back to watching tv.
yt5454 3 years ago
ChrisF116 3 years ago
You are completely full of shit, as is usual for a conservative. FDR was semi-liberal. None of the others were.
And when you blame the Vietnam War on Kennedy, you are lying, as is usual for a conservative. That war was escalated tremendously under Johnson, a moderate under extreme pressure from conservatives, and Nixon, an extreme conservative.
Wars of conquest, like Vietnam and Iraq, ALWAYS come from conservatives. Always.
yt5454 3 years ago
ANYONE who was around during the Vietnam War will tell you that conservatives loved the war and liberals hated it. Just like Iraq today.
For you to suggest otherwise is so dishonest it's despicable. The exact opposite of the truth!
You cons just loved _1984_, didn't you. War is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength. The bigger the lie, the more you like it.
yt5454 3 years ago
Well, if ur saying that "conservatives"=war and "liberals"=peace, then ur looking at the world in black & white. I believe a true conservative is libertarian, and libertarian/constitutional views have always been against big government and against entangling political and economic alliances, the things that get us into most wars.
ChrisF116 3 years ago
"entangling political and economic alliances, the things that get us into most wars"
Not true, not even close. There were NO alliances that got us into Iraq, Vietnam, Korea, or any of zillions of smaller wars.
Even in WWII - alliances be damned, we stayed out of it until we ourselves were attacked.
yt5454 3 years ago
In George Washington's farewell address, he warned against getting involved in the political affairs of Europe, creating political parties, and entangling alliances.
ChrisF116 3 years ago
"political and economic alliances, the things that get us into most wars"
On the contrary, alliances keep us OUT of wars.
Seriously, where do you get these wacked-out ideas?? You sound like a Ron Paul fan.
yt5454 3 years ago
ChrisF116 3 years ago
"the whole mess of WW1"
Is that the best you can do? Even if it's true, which I don't concede, you choose to ignore the 90 years of more recent history since then? Jeez.
yt5454 3 years ago
WW1 caused WW2. WW2 caused the Cold War. The Cold War caused Korea and Vietnam. Our Alliance with GB was one reason we got into WW2. Alliance with France a reason we got into Nam.

Well u obviously don't have a great conception of history. These government interventions r not a series of isolated incidents. They're all parts of the larger movement toward world domination by the global elites. The military industrial complex & global corporations have nothing 2 do w/ party lines. They often influence govt. policy while operating above it's reach. The truth is that both parties have more obligation 2 these globalist forces than 2 the ppl, & those who don't I guess "suck."

i'm not saying you have to explain to me, i'm saying if we are going to persuade the masses and win elections as democrats we have to convince people using evidence that republicans are liars. the way you simply call them names and not give any specific evidence persuades no one and makes democrats look bad.
kdawg860 3 years ago
Evidence is available by the gigaton, so much that everyone has seen many examples.
What's the point of explaining every single detail? Those who know the truth don't need my help. Those who claim not to believe the proof are Fox Newsers who will not listen to ANYTHING that makes sense, let alone something from lil' ol' me.
The republican party is corrupt through and through, and there are NO people who have not seen the proof. There are only people who like it that way, and those who don't.
yt5454 3 years ago
Well if you look back at the history of the Neo-Conservative movement they were Democrats that defected to the Republicans and took quite a few of there social policies with them.
purplecharger88 3 years ago

The Democrats that joined the Republicans were prosegregation conservatives like Strom Thurman
antipyrene 3 years ago
Conservatives. liberal polices while they have good intentions have been proven time and again to cause more problems then solutions from welfare, to gun control, to just about everything else in between. While the are right on issues dealing with personal freedom issues most of the time that same government that they don't want to take our freedoms for some reason can handle fiscal policies and deal with economic issues. It's a rather weird love hate relationship.
purplecharger88 3 years ago
"liberal polices ... have been proven time and again to cause more problems"
That is a lie. You are a liar. Not only that, but you are a plagiarist - you stole that line from Fox News.
yt5454 3 years ago
Do you know what a liberal policy is? Nation building, like we're doing in Iraq right now, is a LIBERAL foreign policy. Government intervention in general, at home or abroad, is considered liberal policy. If we were 2 institute a national health care system, it would be considered a LIBERAL domestic policy. The fact that Democrats have come out against the war doesn't change the fact that Democrats/Liberals were traditionally pro-war/interventionist & Republicans/Conservatives anti-intervention.
ChrisF116 3 years ago
"Republicans/Conservatives anti-intervention"
Hogwash! Cons are anti-interventionist only when confronted with authoritarian regimes that are under their control.
yt5454 3 years ago
As for 1984, I never liked Orwell that much. I think he was off a bit in his predictions. Aldous Huxley was smarter. He predicted that governments would use less violent means to control their populations. Orwell thought that a time would come when governments would burn all the history books. Huxley predicted that, in time, technology would allow people to become so distracted with entertainment and propaganda that they would simply no longer care to read them.

I used to like Graham because he would stand up for veterans, but he's abandoned all that now & started goose-stepping behind Bush.
I hope he loses in SC, but the truth will need to get out on Graham. I'm afraid too many ppl in SC don't know of all the crap Graham's been doing lately.
