  • German sailors fought for their fatherland. They knew that they cant win battle against royal navy. They knew that many of them will die but still they didnt surrender. They fought bravely and died bravely.I saluet to those german sailors, and also to british sailors who accepted bismarck survivors like their brothers.Rest in peace all sailors who died for their homelands !

  • damn the music after 6:05....we are talking about lots of tears men

  • While I feel for those who died in battle, still we must remember, the Bismarck was on the side of the NAZIs, who wrecked terror and havoc on all of Europe, and wiped out millions of people on the orders of a madman, Adolph Hitler. War is hell - and those who start it must be prepared to suffer the consequences. Have people learned from these lessons learned in the past? Terrorism is all around us - there are those who kill for no other reason than hatred, for something they don't understand.

  • nice animation

  • The black and white striping is removed at the superstructure in Germany. The way towards Norway was the black and white on the hull and a overall grey superstructure

  • The black and white striping is removed at the upperstructure in Germany. The seaway towards Norway was the black and white the hull and a overall grey superstructure

  • its v good except if all the ships were bobbing around like rowing boats they,d never hit a thing.

  • The german engineers should have double armored the rudder. That was the design flaw of the bismarck. It makes me smile when it sent the HMS Prince of Wales running for its life after sinking the HMS Hood.

  • @commybuster How can you smile at the death of brave Men?

All the men on all those ships were truly brave and the gunners on hood were still firing even as she sank.

Regardless of country any one of them is better than any of us sat at our computer chirping shit.

  • Hein its not true i am historian and i know the Whole Historie of the Bismarck i dont know yet but they are crippled by Airplanes ok but they where sunk by British if the briitish BBs Battleships where not here she could make it to france only Ark Royal can stop her nno other Battleships Bismarck is better then the 2 other Rodney and King George the V

  • what u mean DranweRagetotem ? outside of oslo bismarck is sunk 600 miles west of France not of oslo he was never in go in oslo he went when he leaves germany To Norway on May 21 1941 not in oslo or did u mean something else? but nice Gameplay guys

  • lol, the sinking part sucks hard.

The Bismarck didnt sink like that.

It capsized, roled over in the water, when it turned 180 degrees all the main turrets felt out and sunk, also a small part of the back of the ship broke off. after that the ship turned 180 degrees again and sunk in the same position as how it should be on the sea. when it hit the bottom of the sea it cam on a underwater mountain and glide down. and there it's resting forever

  • @Meerjungfrau19 Everyone was a noob at one time. Be kinder to people.

  • @laurierken

    yes, they are right :)

  • this reminds me we kicked the japs ass in ww2 but they had a 10x larger navey and a 10x larger army but we pulled through bu guns blayzn

  • lol last battle? the bismark sank outside of oslo noob. Learn some facts.

  • @DranweRagetotem

I have never said in this video something else

  • @DranweRagetotem No you're wrong. She was sunk West of Brest, France.

  • @DranweRagetotem OMG for the first it is Bismarck and maby you mean the Tirpits and she was sunk in a fjord in norway... maby you need to learn some facts...

  • @DranweRagetotem Hey dumbass, she sank deep in the North Atlantic. Learn some facts, you Ritalin-pumped teenager. And I generally never listen to or believe fools who think using the word "noob" is a legitimate insult.

  • @DranweRagetotem no it didnt, the bismark sunk in the atlantic some 500 km from france

you might be confusing with tipitz the sister twin ship, who was sunk in a norway fjord, but even son it wasn't near oslo, was in the north of norway

  • @DranweRagetotem Maybe you should? It's possible you are confusing the Bismark with the Tirpitz, which was sunk in Norweigen atters, but even that was not near Oslo. The only German ship to be sunk near Oslo in WW2 was the Hipper class heavy cruiser Blücher.

  • @DranweRagetotem outside OSLO???? the last chase and battle was on the North Atlantic... The Bismarck wanted to reach Brest...

  • What program did you use?

  • my granddad told me that bismarck was sunk by old british airplanes. and he readed about it and he was very good at the history of bismarck, so were is the airplanes?

  • @az90000100 The Bismarck was FOUND and CRIPPLED by airplanes. British Fairey Swordfish found it and ONE of them hit the Bismarck in her rudder. The rudder was pushed into one of her props making her capable of only sailing in circles. It was only a matter of time until the British fleet caught her and blew the top part of her apart. Ultimately it was the Germans that scuttled their own ship.

  • Unfair fight i dont think so

Hood was built long b4 bismarck and was restricted on size by various treatys

Bismarck on the other hand was way newer and hitler didnt give a damn about treatys so was way more powerful and better armoured than anything else at that time

the simple fact is a crappy swordfish was the undoing of bismarck

  • one point: it were pilots from Swordfishes, who has lethally wounded Bismarck....not sailors. They have just finished the job....

  • why sad music when the Bismark goes down they tried to kill us in Scotland but we defeated them

  • unfair battle, the Bismarck was so much better than any British battleship... the German just didn´t have enough ships to help Bismarck in this battle

  • @wyz2285 war douse not spare the brave but the cowardly

  • @wyz2285 bismarck would have send them all down 1 by 1, just think on what the allied needed to sink her.. and the most funny thing is after tons of shells shot the bismarck was still afloat and got scattered by it's own crew, lol, i think IF there was an unsicable ship it was not the titanic, but the Bismarck ^^ anyways R.i.P. all hood, bismarck, and all the others from WW2 and let's hope it wont happend again

  • I wish Hood wasn't British and Bismarck never sank either..just humble wishes

  • The Bismarck had a Swastika banner flying from it...not an Iron Cross.

  • @MarlboroKnightHawk

    political correctness strikes again......

  • 5:02 The british did hit vital patts of the ship. The central fire control tower were hit by a 40,6 inch round, and was destroyed. also all four main turrents were destroyed. The main guns didn´t hit any british ships in the last battle, btw :(

  • the fire effect is very real:D what mod did you use? is this for sh4 too?

  • @TheBByamashiro I think the game is called Pacific Storm: Allies

  • @vimmer08

Is Silent Hunter IV with ''Fall of the Rising Sun''(Mod)

  • @Meerjungfrau19 oops sorry

  • Imagine the the horror and great length the British would have went through if the German navy had waited for Bismark's sister ship the Tirpitz with heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen and some escort ships. Still, a waste of life and beautiful machinery. Thanks for the video and wonderful graphics. .

  • excellent graphics, thanks for sharing

  • 8:00 I was only 9 days at sea?

  • @lukum55 yeah it had an incredibly short lifetime, but thats because it was such an big threat to england that chirchill himself ordered a big part of the royal navy (british navy) to destroy it.

  • think of the Glory,,,,,,

  • It was a terrible war that unfortunately had to be fought...May the nations never have to fight another one...ever...

  • can you imagine.... being one of those brave crews on the bismarck, they saw a whole fleet coming at them in the horizon, they looked up the sky and saw waves of aircraft attacking them, they manned their guns and fired back at the enemy with their country in their heart. hours of firefights and torpedo attacks the crew of the bismarck had no chance but to scuttle her, i cant imagine the horror, you are destroying the ship that was supposed to return you home, and you watch it sink, RIP BISMARCK

  • one of my friends dosent know who bismarck was O_O...

  • one of my friends dosent know who bismarck was O_O....

  • bismarck is one of the worlds best german war ship next to its twin sister tirpitz may the both rip

  • a compleet fleet to take down a ship, that was one tough ship pff

  • best video ever good job

  • best video of the bismark battle ever you made it look so real thumbs up love the vid and song choice keep it up

  • Did you know that the crewman were going to open the sea valves in bismark when she was heavily damage and hit the british with scuttling charges?

  • @HerrHeinerich you are right, but all warships are made for ONE REASON ONLY to kill and destroy before the self and all humans on them got hell .....

War is strange business, we like we hate it, we really love to watch it on TV and do all that terrible thing in games but ind end war is about death, suffering and eternal pain, war ( no mater the Outcome ) is always triumph of evil , that common evil what we all have in our souls

find "Major speech" video, this is what all is about

  • it took torpedo bombers from the aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal, two battleships, cruiser HMS Dorsetshire, and two other ships just to sink one battleship.

i have to say that the Bismarck was a ship that was a bit advance for her time, but an amazing ship.

  • good video

music of the film gladiador maximus

  • a salute to all the brave men and womwen that fought for this countery thumbs up on there honer

  • it's not sentimental. It's a dam good vid for the bismarck. good job :)

  • The mighty Bismark was brought down by what should be considered the luckiest shot ever fired in naval combat. No warship would have aimed a shot at the Rudders. The gunners, and their commanders were taught to shoot for the center of the ship, its command center, or its gun turrets. One errant round struck it's steering system rendering it immoblile and uncapable of maneuvering. This one misplaced shot turned the Bismark into a sitting duck for the British Warships. The rest became history.

  • when ones country call ........we don't think what is right or wrong..what matters is how much time you stood for your country.........

brothers war never brings anything ..it takes what we have .....

  • when ones country call ........we don't think what is right or wrong..what matters is how much time you stood for your country.........

  • RIP Bismarck, Hood and all the other ships and crew lost in ww2

  • Before anyone believed in heavy bombers. before anyone knew heavy bombers were the war winners. Before anyone had imagined nuclear warfare, battleships were world domination. Hood was the pride of brittania. 'Hood sunk'. Incomprehensible in this day and age the damage to public confidence. Hence the entire fleet within range sent to sink this battleship.

  • WHAT A GREAT GAME IS THAT SO GOOD GAME

  • Looks like this video is from a game

  • this is game

  • She took 90 minutes to sink even without her engines

  • She took 90 minutes to sink

  • the bismark sunk, cause the ship had hit at the end of the sip..and circled around, than it was ready to die..

  • God bless my grandad lost with his ship

  • My dad served on Hood until his transfer to HMS Kylemore, just a month before Hood's sinking. He lost many good friends. Six months later, Kylemore met her fate too, at the hands of German Dorniers, & my dad was one of only 8 survivors. He was awarded the DSM for courageous conduct during & after the sinking. The medal was pinned on his chest by Lord Mountbatten.

  • @speakswahilidammit Lucky man.

  • @speakswahilidammit wow... very impressive :). My step great grand father served on many ships. One being a WW1 destroyer. He was at one point chasing the bismarck

  • @speakswahilidammit

    U.K got owned by Germany

  • @KatiushaVN4 idiot, what has that to do with his epic story?

  • @speakswahilidammit .Please give my regards to your father and gratitude for his service. One of my cousins left the US when WWII started, went to Canada, and joined the RAF. He was killed somewhere over France. Another cousin was a Pearl Harbor; an uncle at the Battle of the Bulge. What heroes we have had.

  • @speakswahilidammit You rlly have to put that at every battle ship vid... -.-

  • bismarck did not fight!

  • I hate it to see sinking those beutiful ships.

Yamato,Bismark,Tirpitz,Hood and many other ships sinking with so many brave sailors.Shame for the humanity.

  • @HerrHeinerich lmfao shame for humanity there built for war not show

  • @HerrHeinerich you are right, but all warships are made for ONE REASON ONLY to kill and destroy before the self and all humans on them got hell .....

  • Wait Bismarck was a German battleship right ?

  • Nice video. Haven't played the game. According to all reports the Bismarck turned turtle before she went down. She was found right side up on the bottom with all four of her main turrets missing. The inner hull apparently intact according to James Cameron when he investigated the wreck.

  • More like HMS Devonshire on SH4 rather than a Norfolk-class CA.

  • Today is the 70th anniverary of her sinking, just three days after HMS Hood was destroyed after a shell from the Bismark set off a chain of explosions in her magazines.

While there may be forever controvacy about the sinking of both ships the fact remains that some 2000 men on the Bismark and 1400 on the Hood were killed in a battle that will soon pass from living memory.

Just 4 years after this battle Germany was to become our allies again. Such is the futility of war.

  • this is a sad video of bismark

  • Whether the Bismarck was scuttled or torpedoed to sink isn't the real wowzer. The fact that the captain chose to try avoid the single torpedo from the air attack by allowing it to hit the one place where it could do "real" damage! IF that torpedo hits anywhere else the Bismarck cruises in France and is repaired! Divine justice is hard to avoid and has a high price. Bismarck fought valiantly to the end but arrogance had some part in it too.

  • the sinking part was false she didnt go down like that they kept on shelling the ship for ages even after they couldnt fire back it wouldnt sink easily beacuase of its design

  • @Cakebombhaha11 How can you be sure, if the Bismarck had all her turrets silenced when she tried to hit the Rodney?

  • i like the song to this video its great

  • this video is from the scene in the "Bismarck" mission of Silent hunter 3 right? I just replay SH3 a while ago ( and i cant stop they sink Bismarck though )

  • this video is from the scene in the "Bismarck" mission of Silent hunter 3 right? I just replay SH3 a while ago ( and i cant stop they sink Bismarck though -.-)

  • Lets All Warriors that died in ANY wars, doesnt matter what side they were on Be at Peace...

  • @Donut1298

in 1941 most ships had steam power engins and petrol was not so inportant as it is to day. pluss the nazis and Soviet Union wear not at war back thean but ja on 22 June 1941tey wear at war (1 mont after the bismark was sunk) and U.S.A did not declar war intil December 7, 1941(Perl Harbor) before that tey wear neutral..

  • In this 3rd World we cannot play the blame game , besides we should leave behind the past and dedicate ourselves to the future . WW2 was a greater part of European aggression that took place from 1936-1945. Coming to the point Sailors from the Soviet , US , British And the German Navy deserve equal respect . So , Friends I salute to those brave young lads who fought for their motherlands and fatherlands .

  • I agree with the top comment, but they deserve to be honored because they died bravely, serving Hitler or not.

  • @SuperSupremeGamer

they were serving there country, hitler was just the boss, the most part of the wehrmacht didn't agree with his ideas but all who opposed were shot dead

  • 要有卐字啊~没有不能算是BISMARK

  • SH4??

  • kriegmarine R.I.P

    royal navy R.I.P

young men, tender souls. undeserving, innocent. young, fearless.

  • i dont get this video does the bismarck return fire and take out other ships aswell or what?

  • @bmwsarecool159 on the first she take out HMS hood.. the RN revenge for the lost of hood..

  • @bmwsarecool159 The Bismarck was already wounded from her battle with the HMS Hood and HMS Prince of Wales a few days earlier. Watch the video "Hood vs Bismark" posted by someone else. It is actually taken from the History Channel. Not sure whether she could return fire or not. Maybe someone can enlighten us further.

  • @waltergator22 And it still took 3 more ships at the same time to sink the best battle ship of all time .... nostalgic .

  • @waltergator22 An amazing ship and crew. Historic battle. She was lightly damaged after the battle with the hood. Later as she was trying to return for repairs a torpedo from a swordfish aircraft damaged her rudder, so it couldn't manouver for it's final battle otherwise it would have been far more dangerous for the english. however it was heavily outnumbered by some fair size guns.

Remember people Germany declared war first on the US. They had to after US declared war on Japan for Pearl.

  • @avangel1 one of the many mistakes made by a.hitler, declaring war to u.s.a.germany,simply didn`t have the resources to win the war, against this imense coallittion of men, material and industrial power!

  • the royal navy is noob.. instead of sending squadrons of warship why they not took on bismarck hundreds of bomber and torpedo-bomber planes to easily send her to a watery grave.. like USN done to yamato..

  • what games is this???

  • in war, fathers burry there son's

in peace, son's burry there fathers

I honor ALL the soldiers of ww2, not all of the wehrmacht were nazi's so no comment like nazi lover and that thx :)

  • @thebiest100

Why would you be called nazi lover because you honor the soldiers of WWII?

I think that every single soldier should be honored, even the nazis.

  • The only real fault I see with the video is that the Bismarck capsized on the surface before she sank. Other than that this is a great video of one of the most famous naval battles of all time. May all the brave souls who fought and died on the seas rest in piece.

  • It's such a shame that this ship had to go down like this. RIP, all you german heroes who died.

  • A great victory for the British Navy was tarnished by the fact that they left a huge number of German sailors in the water. Most likely out of bitterness that only 3 sailors survived from the sinking of the Hood. When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then there will be lasting peace. P.S. My father fought the Germans in North Africa and Italy and thought the world of them.

  • At 6:54 .... Soo sad :(

  • @TheLahness Oh and.. eh.. by the way... ONLY 3 PEOPLE SURVIVED HOODS SINKING! AND THAT WAS OUT OF 2000 BRAVE SAILORS!

  • @TheLahness What if you was on the Bismarck eh? dont you feel sorry if you killed a brother working on the british sunken battleship HMS Hood! She got teared apart by 12 shots from the Bismarck and the ammochamber, teared the Hood pretty much apart... HMS Hood,s grave were never found... So. thumbs up guys if u think TheLahness is wrong!

  • The enemy closes, the end is near

All that remains - Fire and fear

We drew first blood and cheered at the deed

Soon we were hunted, our time to bleed

Our guns blazed back - there grew faint hope

But destiny had chosen the end of the rope

Until the end one of our guns still replied

We wished we had stayed and fough by their side

One final breath, flag and country now to the deep

Sea and ship to eternal sleep.

  • What an awesome video this is. May all of those who died in this great battle rest in peace in their watery graves at the bottom of the ocean. Let us resolve in our hearts that there will be no-more "Fuhrer's" to fight for where brave men are sacrificed needlessly in the name of tyranny. May the awesome monster that was the Bismarck remain a silent, broken reminder in the deeepest reaches of the Atlantic as to the futility of war and the great loss of life that painfully follows.

  • but what's the name fof the first soooooooooooooooooooong

  • THAT SHIP WAS A VERY BIG LOS FOR HITLER

  • The soldiers of the Bismarck don't deserve to be honoured, they served an ass-hole racist, what they did was wrong, otherwise we should all honour Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden because they were doing what they thought was right for their country.

Don't flatter yourselves, racists, dictators and anyone who serves them don't deserve to be honoured.

  • @TheLahness

They and your big brother America are the biggest warmongers! Nevertheless, many big enterprises from your lands have earned good money during the war. They want to tell something about the morality and honour to us? Ridiculously

  • @Meerjungfrau19 Don't call all americans warmongers. Your sadly mistaken. We don't want war anymore than any other country. We have sacrificed you too.

  • @purpleblood93

    ''Don't call all americans warmongers''

    See to Iraq, Afghanistan etc

  • @Meerjungfrau19 That blame solely lies on the War Mongering Republicans.

All in All and like most countries on Earth dont want to go to War, we all know War can do to a country and its people, but guess what...we're all Humans and we're the Lowest Form of Life on Earth.

  • great use of gladiator theme song in this video

  • @Meerjungfrau19 Afghanistan, who was in control10 years ago. Al-Qeida and the Taliban.

Bin Laden ordered the attacks on 9/11. Did you expect us to run and hid. Call it justice to rid the world of these terrorists for all the nations on earth.

Going to war in Iraq was not something the majority of the american public wanted. By protesting, the people of the United States where able to pressure our president an congress to get out. As of now there are not many american soldiers in Iraq.

  • @Meerjungfrau19 -the U.S. has secured it self as major power it countered so many countries at a time germany and japan as the main ones,it needs lot of zeal courage finance and above all determination, since germany and Japan where powers to reckon at that time

  • @TheLahness

This video is dedicated to all sailors of the world who lost your life in this war. The Bismarck should be represented this with the tragic end. Unfortunately, you have not understood the deeper meaning of this video.

  • @Meerjungfrau19..... dear meerjungfrau or whoever you are...in ww1 and ww2 the USA was dragged into it by the european allies....then japan bombed us cause they were pissed bacause of hawaii so we had 2 fronts to fight....aside from iraq 2 yer FUCKING WRONG in your comment that america is a war monger....FUCK YOU....where do you come from you asshole....somewhere that benefits from the place you badmouth....america ended ww1 and ww2....because we had to.....FUCKOFF YOU CUNT

  • @retepiro

Your comment proves impressively how little education you have enjoyed in your young life.

  • @Meerjungfrau19 Jeez man retepiro is right and we do have high education. America is no warmonger, all we ever have done is helped the world from disaster and you call us a warmonger? If we hadnt helped in any wars then all of europe would have been under the nazis and all of asia would have been under japan, we have had our reasons too go to war to save everyone and we have saved millions of lives. AND saying he has little education?!?! what a comeback ! that man is a patriot!

  • @Donut1298

You have saved millions of lives? You are right certainly there.

But you see also to Iraq and Afghanistan?

Who has Saddam and supplies the Taliban with weapons? How much money distributes your armament industry every year?

How many large companies have made a profit of good money in the 2nd World War?

I am watching the court case against her soldiers in the country at the moment.

The medallion always has two sides.

  • @Donut1298 russia had already won the WW2. america just wanted a piece of germany, so they came with they craptanks and ships and killed thousands of civilians destroyed the dresdner "frauenkirche" and did shit like that. america just wants oil.

  • @TheLahness The crew had no choice, i bet most were not even racists they just served their cuntury based on what they think the right thing is. Seriously thouch it America lost the war and you were German would you honoure the soldiers who died in peral harbour?

  • @TheLahness The crew had no choice, i bet most were not even racists they just served their cuntury based on what they think the right thing is. Seriously thouch it America lost the war and you were German would you honoure the soldiers who died in peral harbour?

  • @TheLahness If you where germen you wouldnt be saying that

  • @TheLahness pfffft it was Hitler and the nazi party+SS who were "bad"!!!The soldiers of the wehrmacht, kriegsmarine and luftwaffe in the earlier stages of the war were just professional veterans that enlisted before the dictatorship!!Most of the nazi fanatics were always in the SS and Liebstandarte,or in the Gestapo. You shouldnt outright go against someone who is doing his duty.Don't forget that after the war the superpowers were racing to get hold of the german tech, even tho germany was BAD.PFFT

  • @TheLahness oh My God.How old are you? I hope that you are a kid....saying that every German was a Nazi is like saying every American is a Republican.Yes.The Germans were the enemy...that doesn't mean that every 18 year old kid on that ship was a Nazi.

    Idiot.

You'd better start reading some history books before you start throwing around garbage such as this.

You can start with "Battleship Bismarck" written by a German...Then read "Pursuit" written by a Briton...then you can argue.

    Jag Off.

  • @TheLahness They did what they where told to do. German deserters often hit the death sentence or years in prison. It is only Hitler and his right hand men that doesn't deserve any honor.

  • @TheLahness

It's not their fault WW1 didn't end how it should have ended.

  • @TheLahness go home dick weed Amuricaaaa

  • @TheLahness Every soldier who fights with honour for the true believe in his country and people should be honoured ! No matter wat the country stands for. And for your info : the German admirality did not support the Nazi regime, but they were proud soldiers, and honoured their country with true loyalty and self discipline to the cause. something that cannot be said of most of the opportunistic descendants of immigrants who enslaved the native people and took their land called now called the USA

  • @TheLahness you really need to watch your moth son

    thats incredibly disrespectful and stupid

you cannot say that soldiers dont deserve to be honoured

    dickweed

  • @TheLahness You are a fucking retard buddy all solders deserve to be honoured.

  • @TheLahness Go watch the movie Das Boot, i think you will learn a valuable lesson you ignorant bastard.

  • @TheLahness What about the families of the people who died? Did you even consider some of the sailors needed money and didn't have any other option? Did you think some of those sailors truly wanted to be part of killing millions of innocent people?

  • @TheLahness Every country was racist in the 40s including America so what's your point.

  • @TheLahness I hope to god that dumbshits like you realize the the men on that ship were forced into service as their country was a dictatorship. those men didn't even have the option of doing what was right. THUMBS DOWN TO YOU!!!!

  • @waterbat7 the vast majority of the german people stood after hitler, first of all, he was not a dictator but democraticly choosen by the german people. I agree he was a monster but those men died for something they believed in. My grandfather was on that ship and was killed in action and my grandmother always tells me that he died for something he believed in

  • Nice vid but there's a part of it where you added an inaccurate quote by Churchill. He actually said, "I don't care how you do it, you must sink the Bismarck!"

  • the bismarck on that have the british flag

  • @k31owner, there waqs a fire near her front guns so they only used the rear... and she got sunk by a torpedo or her crew flooded her..

  • whats the name of the song at 5:00 ??

  • some one said the Bismarck would have run home to get support from the rest of the German navy... WRONG! she would have run to the coast of France to get support from the German air force.

  • Compared to most of the British ships - the Bismarck was very clean...

  • was this in a game if not what program if so name it

  • why the sad music?
