I love the music, but I'm not totally sure I love the lyrics. I definitely know the feeling but... there's no point in hating who you were. Self-hatred is a waste of energy. We're all just trying to do our best, and we can only ever be where we're at and go from there. We're not going far if we're sitting around looking back, hating what we see. Know what I mean? There's subtext of self-hatred in several RK songs...sometimes I just want to hug Matt Thiessen and tell him he's really okay...lol.

I think the reason he probably doesn't hit those high notes it probably just because it was done in studio so if he messed up doing them he could just do another take, here if he messes up its live so he doesn't risk it. not calling him out tho its still a boss song and it still sounds really good live

@theduke373 He can definitely still hit those notes. I've seen them live plenty of times (14+ song sets) and he usually does above and beyond on most songs. It sounds like he was either sick here or they were just playing it in that way.
