  • does the 1/4 inch to 3.5 mm converter trick work with this software?

  • Is there a program were you can plug your guitar in the line-in of your pc?

  • Damnit now I have to go buy the cable, for it!

  • I just bought Rocksmith and it's a very cool beginners tool. But i really bought it for the USB guitar cable, which looks to be very good quality. Now i'm looking for the best PC virtual electric guitar sound effects programs and this looks very promising. So this is a VST plugin.Which midi program (which is non bloat!) would work good with this?I don't want one that takes up too much memory and/or has conflicts with other programs.

  • Does anyone knows how much the trial last??

  • Vandal the best

  • Would it really replace the real AMP? Just wondering.

  • what would say is better? between this software and the one by Line 6 Guitarport/Gearbox that is what I have, planning on switching maybe

  • can you play acdc with that program?

  • @Admin591 if you are able to :)

  • Would this program work with one of these ebay .com /itm/Alesis-GuitarLink-1-4-USB-Cable-1-4-Guitar-Link-/310337717857?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item484191c661 ?

  • Not to sound like a total noob, but can you put a tutorial together for using Vandal Amp?

  • can i used my computer as an guitar effect and how to plug ?

  • @912mindchanger tweaking*** Oh and i'm talking about guitar tool rack by waves, not guitar rig, just in case you have not heard of it.

  • @912mindchanger I disagree, although amplitude has some great features and has more amp models and what-not, GTR has a better tube feel, and with the right teaking I can get the perfect sound. I also have run sound in 192K which brings out a lot of quality. Amplitude is a great program though, but after fiddling around with GTR3 i'm hooked.

  • GTR3 is better.

  • @megaterra69

GTR3 has Waaaaaay better stomps, but the the actual amps, cabs, room reverb, is no doubt better then GTR3. Might be hard to get a sweet tone at first. I did not find the tone in this video great, sounds kinda distant and muddy... There is a lot of knobs you have to memorise, it's all pretty real, no instant magic tone button (you'd have same trouble recording real amps), but once you got them, vandal becomes quite good.

  • @KeistasZmogelis Actually, when I come to think about it, V did sound pretty good, but It kept crashing in cubase 5 for some reason. When it was working it sounded pretty good.

  • @megaterra69 Perhaps you were using a cracked version?

  • @KeistasZmogelis Negative. I just had a shitty soundcard.

  • Does this work for real time play? (as in I strum my guitar strings and it plays through speakers at the same time I strum)

  • @dannyo009 I haven't used it, but it should work for real time play. Really you can use any vst for real time play, just put it on a track in your DAW and turn on real time monitoring for that track, then whatever you play will pass through your plugin chain.

  • @dannyo009 Yes. And easiest way if you get a mini host for this VST (I suggest SaviHost). Don't forget asio4all aswell to reduce the latency.

  • hi, very nice sound you got. vandal is a pretty good one! :-)

  • works great with the berringer usb guitar plugin as well

  • how i can get vandal or anythink virtual amp for my m audio fast track pro tanx

  • ha ...your not even playing the same chords ...fail

  • hey wow! what have u used for the drum?? its really incredible

  • is it free?

  • @HellsHighwayTrooper No this software is not free. After all, the software comes with hardware for you to plug in your guitar to the computer.

  • did you recomend me this interface (m audio 410) to use whit vst sims like this one and pod far, revalver, lepou plugs etc.? i'm looking for a good auido quality

  • Hey Dimi, MetalGod from GAM here :) Nice tone, man! I like the demo a lot. The first amp sim that got all 3 amps good, IMHO. I'm a Marshall type of guy, and I got into it pretty deep. I got it sounding awesome even plugged directly into my motherboard's integrated soundcard. I'm getting the Megadeth type Marshall + Tubescreamer tones pretty close. And it's by far the lightest amp sim for the CPU. Just, the mix knob on the delay stomp is lacking the low mix area, don't you think?

  • what do i need to connect my guitar to the pc and make this work??

i tried with the gtr3 connecting the guitar to the line in and... fail!!.. so, i really dont know how this works :s

  • hey. nice guitar playing, which drumcomputer do you use?..

  • @TheSuicideless i want to know tooo

  • Awsome VST, awsome playing!

  • is there something like this for free?

  • what vst host program do you use to open the Vandal ? i use vst host 1.47 but it doesn't work great

  • where can you download this???

  • any one know any sofware that takes guitar thru line in????

  • what drum program are you using?

  • Would this program work for bass too?

  • @Dthorn912 Yes!

  • cool i'll have to give it a wirl

  • Nice sound.. Amplitube Sucks.. DONT BUY IT .

    MKIII Revalver is Perfect!

And Guitar Rig 4 Pro Is very good.. Also Native Instruments Guitar Combos are Kick ass!!

  • Maybe because you're too lazy to find a good sound. The Amplitube 3 presets suck indeed, but you can make a killer tone if you just try a little

  • @MrExiztence NOO!! The sound is amazing at amplitube.. i said it sucks because it got the Noise Gate, and it cuts all the sound.. you cant do harmonics.. nothing its horrible!

  • Oh alright! :)

I don't use the amplitube noisegate so I have no problems with it.

  • @MrExiztence its imposible to disable the noise gate o.o

  • can i play guitar straight to pc? with no mixers, preamps and so on?

  • yep!

then just edit it with this!

  • will it work if you have a gutar lead/usb (one end in guitar the other in usb) ? thanks.

  • Jeez, I've been playing guitar for many years and I just can't hear a difference anymore between software and real amps. Anyone who tells you they can is totally full of s**t! Can't wait till this Vandal thing comes out.

  • VANDAL...cool software

  • Hey, could you plz tell us how much this program will cost approximately ?

It really sounds awesome. Much better than Guitar Rig, Amplitube and Revalver and maybe even Th1 which was my favorite by now.

  • Sounds awesome! Definately more amp-like chugga chug :P
