Switzerland has the highest gun ownership rate in the world (it's practically illegal not to have a rifle) but some of the lowest gun crime rates. Banning thngs doesn't work, if it did drugs wouldn't exist. All banning guns does is give criminals free reign over the law abiding citizens that now find themselves defenseless.
