@coffeetea720 the dynamite must have come from "the black rock". When they found the the dyamite the first time, it was wet, making it unstable. She put water jugs in the same bag, before she dropped it.

Dynamite shortly after it is made (I think about year) starts to "sweat". This is when the nitroglycerin seeps out of the clay keeping it stable. So after hundreds of years dynamite is extremely unstable. The only effect the water bottles would have had were if they collided with the dynamite.
