It depends on a lot of things. I've been to concerts and kids of 13 have been fine, but then I've been to ones where anyone up to about 16 ruined it, for themselves and others. I would suggest older unless you get seats. It can be pretty brutal in the pit. I know its seems like your parents are taking the fun out of it, but they have a point (and this is coming from someone who had the same problem, and is still pretty young). There'll be more concerts.
