Well he was a child star. His first cd came out in 2000 when he was 12. After releasing 2 more cd's he had to stop singing because of the voice change. Although while his voice was changing he made a cd based on poems. Then he released 'everything and more' in 2004 ( i think) then 'Billy Gilman' He might have a new cd out soon!

@rainsummer946 well, after his cd one voice which went platinum, his next 2 cds sold gold, but then he was not as notorious. he got older. he made 3 cds after those 2 gold cds, which were heart songs, everything and more, and then Billy GIlman (self titled). he was not as famous as he was and i am not sure many people knew of his releasing of cds after dare to dream. So over all, he will come back, just give him a little time. he has grown up and he has to do it himself. nobody else can do it.
As much as I love Billy (I know him and he's really sweet) I just can't get into the newer voice. :( I've tried to make myself over the past 3 or 4 years but I just can't force myself to like something I don't.

Do you know that if you wanted billy to retain his soprano voice while at 12 year or something, you will have to turn him into a CASTRATA? and that is not acceptable in the modern world. There are not many men with a soprano voice after growing to 14yr old.. ha ha ha ha
His voice is so pure, it's ridiculous! He's such an amazing singer. I don't understand how he can sing that great live! There's not a single note out of tune. And he took out his earpiece at the beginning, so he's probably can't hear his voice too properly on stage, and he's still not missing a note....amazing!
OMG!!! i was at telethon this year. i got to hang out with billy any time he wasn't hosting or performing. i met him 3 years ago, but i'm already in love with him. btw, no joke about the telethon thing. if u ever meet him, REMEMBER TO ASK HIM IF HE REMEMBERS EMMIE IN TUCSON. MAKE SURE U ASK HIM! HE'LL KNOW WHO UR TALKING ABOUT. <3 !

i was disgusted when i read an article criticizing the mda! i think the mda is a wonderful organization and the people who work to make it the terrific success that it is are wonderful and should be credited not criticized on every aspect of their work! check it out on bay windows!
