Hi, very well played! I like it a lot. Would you mind listening to my attempt on this same track? Perhaps you could give me some tips. You can find it on my channel. Thanks in advance.
Mindblowing !! juz cant go out of tune while listening 2this album,,,,, its damn awesum,,, dowloaded the entire album for free at DownloadMusic[.]im , ..
Terrific job of explaining how you built your performance of this piece. Sometimes its tough showing newer players just how to perform and improvise, but you did a great thing by telling what you were doing at each stage.
I looked for this midi file on your website, but found when I transcribed it, that it is another version. Do you have a midi of this video performance? I love your style and would like to study it with the help of the transcription as well as by watching your hands on the keys. Please give me directions to the midi of this actual improvisation if you have it. Great playing and a wonderful educational tool!
is the dominant thing (oscar peterson), literally just hitting the dominant after the II V when it goes tonic, as if theres been a pedal over the II V? Does this work on major II V's as well?
thanks for the great lessons..im listening again and again..im trying to find a bass and drums accompaniment cd....does anyone know where they are available? do you post your accompaniament tracks only also?
Could you please make a video/analysis of the song "I Love You" by Cole Porter? I'm in jazz lessons and the way you did this song helped me to learn a lot of things.
You do some great playing with great ideas. I like the way you explained your mistakes and how you covered them. I learned a lot and I play the vibes, not piano. Thanks loads
Very interesting. I learned something. enjoyed the music and was made to smile by the honest and self-deprecating comments overlaid. A VERY useful addition to my little collection of tutorial videos. MERCI!
Do hope you caught the Sergio Mendez interviews. He would have approved of your playing. Did I mention "Variations on a Theme"?. The old runner from Mermaid Beach.
Hey, that is really great! I love piano, and play it all the time, plus I love jazz, so all your notes were really fascinating (and actually readable, unlike some of the others)!
thank you very much sir....Im sure a lot of musicians will learn from this video of yours....including me....and we are having a good time too....my hands are not enough for applausing...love and respect....ding de juan....
that's very-very interresting! thx!

it is more than 88 keys
probably 100 sumthing
well anyways, the improvisation
is good.
maybe a bit too slow?
a123581321z 3 years ago
it may just be me, but the piano seems really big... like more than the reg 88 keys...

beautiful
but it is pity, that you took a "swing style" instead of a bossa nova, latinstyle (blue boosa)
but nevertheless: beautiiiiiful
