naw, Jaco is overrated and didn't become celebrated until after he died. The only thing they claim he did was but the bass up front, but that doesn't change that he is not the greatest bass player or even in the top 10. Jaco didn't do anything amazing on bass.

not only did jaco's physical talent on the bass amaze and inspire, his exquisite knowledge of themusic itself made him even more of a great musiciain...

jaco may only have gone really fast on a few songs, incredibly fast might i add, but that was because he didnt need too. he knew the music so well he could play along not so fast and the music still sounded great..
