Sunderland UFO Caught On Camera

Oooh lights in a straight row, near Newcastle Airport Instrument Pattern, with a wobbly camera filming an area where a street lamp passes through, with an aircraft noise that sounds very much like a a police helicopter, with more 'spooky lights', in a built up area? hardly X-files is it? Bloody hell people, it's a flared out camera phone video and you're talking like the end of the world is nigh! Get a grip!

@howaymanspuggy Hmm, nice argument you have there which you could put forward through the obscure and unclear evidence which you have available in the video I posted.

That could have some grounds for disbelief but one thing you cannot change is what I saw. There was a helicopter as I said, and I witnessed one of these lights passing beneath it.

So either aeroplanes are suddenly a fifth the size of helicopters, or the light source was a lantern that on this occasion defied the laws of physics.

I saw these with my own eyes a LOT clearer than you can see with my phone.

It went underneath a chopper, are you lot saying you believe paper lanterns can pass beneath a helicopter in flight and remain on course without being deterred, moved or blown off course in any way shape or form?

The only thing beyond alien 'conspiracies' more bizarre is the notion a Helicopter in flight cant generate enough force to move paper.

saw such light a cople of hours ago, we where in the wilderness, so it was cinda spooky. it even took a 180 degreas turn, moved strangely, no sound, under thick clouds and dissapeard kinda fast. theres something out there man, im convinced.

I saw exactly the same thing as this from my house in Sunderland on Xmas eve, and New years eve. I thought it was a UFO too... however it has been shown that these are actually chinese lanterns. I set one off with my family last bonfire night and it looked exactly the same. I've since seen loads more of these 'UFOs', at least I know what they are now. Not to say I don't believe in aliens/UFOs myself, I'm just saying these are not UFOs. I'm 99% sure there is extraterrestrial life.

Just seen a reddy / orange light like this in the sky over Jarrow then changed direction and headed fast northwards,thought it was a flare at first but moved way to fast for that.

i saw a bright orange light in the sky this saturday bout 00.30 hrs in our garden,it was my girlfreind that spotted it,i thought it might be star but it got smaller and vanished but another one the same appeared and vanished.

hmm ive bin looking at a lot of these videos and most of them seem to mention fireworks being around these orbs, and some cases crop circles being found near the glowing orbs, hope i get to see them 1 day

They aren't flares in this video. Flares don't travel beneath helicopters blades and remain undeterred and on course. This was not flares.

Hi mate i live in washington and i deffo believe you because i seen 5 of these things in the sky with no noise etc... my neighbour across the road got some photos of them in formation and then in random patterns but all you can see is orange orbs of light and it wasnt any old camera its a top of the range photographists camera i have 3 whitnesses aswell ............

I phoned my mate 4.15 this morning as I was chasing after one in my taxi over Marsden trying to get a photo, it disappeared over farm land at Lizard Lane I was gutted I didnt catch it on film, I started searching on line when I got in to see if anyone else had seen anything and I saw all these videos,this is the 2nd one Ive seen within 3 days.Been told it could be a Chinese lantern Ill feel really silly if it is, it was moving in one direction then stopped for about 30 seconds then moved on.

omg i seen the same weird moving light thing over mine in ford estate round abouts the same time. It defo wasnt a plane or helicopeter coz there was no sound at all, n u no if it was a plane or copter coz u wud here them. n it moved in same way proper random, i tried to record it on my 4n but then it just sped up and disipeared just like this one. @crunchipunki i seen a object off the coast of whitburn that was a orange colour it shot off without makeing a sound witnessed by myself and around 14 other people .the next day i went to my local newsagents to see if this had made headlines nothink stood out apart from the sunderland echo and a resident in nearby seaburn had reported a flare going off after a land sea and air had srambled there was no sign or signal of anyone or ship in distress i rest my case

Seriouslly a was at a fireworks display in Cleadon, south shields last week, n i saw a very similar thing!, so did alot of other people, it was a rather orange moving object i thought at first was a plane or sumthin, it drifted from a few miles away n came towards the fireworks, as the fireworks ended it stopped in it's tracks, then just, done off in another direction, & it came into the wind. Out all the times i've saw stuff & after a few mins realised it was a plane etc, this 1 had me baffled.

Much appreciated comment thank you for your report mate. The thing is we are as a generation scientifically conditioned to believing only what we have with solid proof. People need no proof for god, a diving being that can create planets at will - yet the belief in life elsewhere is unacceptable. Aliens it is, and if not then what is it? They aren't earthly I know that, don't doubt yourself and don't feel foolish saying aliens, its not shameful..its a possible truth. thank you mate =D

seen this last night in Wigan, same as this ther was a helicopter checkin it out, wtf are they??? they cant be planes on fire which was my first thought because it would be all over the news, alot of people say chinese lanterns but the helicopter would have made it move in a diffrent fashion, i dnt want to say aliens but it was deffinatly the unidentified flying object i saw with a helicopter circling it

I witnessed a similar event this year. Myself, my ex and two kids were traveling towards South Hylton and saw a bright object which we at first thought to be a plane on fire, such was the brightness of it. It stopped changed direction a couple of times before shooting off. I went in house, ex walked down to field with dog to see if group of kids she teaches saw anything,it re appeared in the sky, split and disappeared again.witnessed by at least 7 or 8 people.

This light passed beneath the police helicopter, almost crashing into it. It remained on course undeterred. So if anyone thinks this is a Chinese lantern, find another theory. The chopper turner around it and circled, whatever it was wasn't mentioned on local radio or local news, but the police know what it is......
