It's a little late but I'll share my take on the JLD #5 ending. It worked but it didn't work at the same time. On one hand, it really showed how badass Constantine is and as a reader who's new to the character it made me like him a lot. One of best characters one them team. However, we were about to see Mindwarp do something cool...and we don't. It was a great ending yet disappointing at the same time. Issue 6 looks to be great and I cant wait to see how the team ends up staying together.

I was reading Batman: Dark Knight and thinking, God damn! This book sucks... but I frickin' enjoy it! The only one I dislike is Detective Comics.

@Damiankilby No. We disagree all the time. We manage to find some middle ground. I liked the dialogue in TT, just not Superboy and he's a huge part of the book. And I hated Cassie's armor.

another great show as always... i think i may have to pick up Hawkman & All Star Western you guys haven't steered us wrong yet. my pull list for this week is Teen Titans, Justice League, & Aquaman. looking forward to reading them! I also really wanna like Superman.. but they just seem to make him fly in circles... and i'm getting dizzy and i wanna get off, that's what she is sreaming!... but really, aren't we all. Where the hell is Superman?!

It's obvious Johns and DC want Aquaman to be front and center over Superman in the new 52. This new Atlantis arc for Aquaman starting in 2012 means Johns is probably going to push him as the "go-to" character arc of 2012. That's what I think DC is doing. And why not? Sorry for Supe fans, but it's Arthurs time to shine right now.

And Andrew, you gotta point out Snyders Batman: Gates of Gotham TPB next week.

I enjoy blackhawks but people will not buy the book unless their is some kind of hype surrounding the book. People are lemmings now-a-days where they just have to follow the crowd, so if no one else is reading it no one else will. Take Omac for instance great book and no one bought because no one else is buying it lol
