I wish people would stop referring to Donna as the queen of disco, the disco era is over, and yes she was disco's biggest star.. but she also went on to be the queen of pop and the pop charts .. scoring 9 consecutive top 5 singles, 4 number 1's, and the only solo artist to have 3 songs in the top 5, on the pop charts at the same time. She is the Empress of Dance ! But be on that, one the most talented vocalist and songwriters of her generation .. and of any time .. she is timeless !

Isnt a great surprise from Diva Summer? Radio and the general public lost out on having this song blow up at radio airwaves. Never even gave it a chance. Maybe the programmers should start looking here on YouTube for the public's opinion on what should be played on radio instead of the repetitive garbage that's on it. Good news is, she still has strong club play support. This being her third consecutive #1 for that Billboard Sub Chart.

Have you heard the whole CD? "Crayons" is among the best work Donna has ever done, and that is saying a lot. Great mix of song styles and vocal styles... very adventurous on her part. Most of all, it sounds both confident and personal. This track is one of my favorites on the CD, but it is full of great stuff. I hope I have that much mojo when I'm 60.

She's showing that she's not a one-trick pony. Donna can sing any style of music and this CD proved that. I'm still listening to this CD on a regular basis...I enjoyed Madonna's "Confessions"...but that was a "fun" CD she put out for her "dance" fans. She sold out, knowing it would do well. Donna put out an eclectic mix of contemporary songs. Had the time been different, it woul've been huge. Lots of hit potential.

I don't agree. She has had 3 consecutive NO. 1's on Billboard's dance chart from this album. This is her latest number 1. She even scored a hit on the Adult Contemporary Chart with Sand on My Feet, which she didn't even release as a single.

Well, I honestly prefer this to Stamp your Feet which was irritating (having Donna sing something like Gwen Stefanie). Her best song on the album is I'm a fire and then It's only love (only on the European press). Both remember to the past Donna Summer we all love. Acutally most stuff on her new album is very good though but I think Stamp your feet was too much targeting an audience which doesn't really care about Donna Summer (maybe she's just a little bit too old for them) ;-)
