  • How I miss my good old plymouth voyager...

  • great vid Shawn, very original and lots of cool ideas!

  • Just love the brush part. "Ahh brushes...nice ones for 8 bucks..yeah nope lower..ooh $4.97..lower... ahhh 93 cents..."

  • <3 Hex

  • there will be xenos love tau are coming out with a new codex

  • This video is absolutely fantastic, no offense to the rest of your videos. They are also good but this is just amazing. Maybe I'm just a little weak for model terrain construction. I have implemented similar hit and run in equal shops in Sweden. Anyway keep some terrain videos coming :)

  • On that belt sander around 9:45...

    The symbol of the Inquisition!

  • I think Bass wood and balsa are both soft woods, bass is used for carving typically and balsa is used in model building and such.

  • Watch some AvP for temple inspiration.

  • "ow to burn things" priceless!

  • wow, the pink foam is really expensive up there, here in satx its like 10 bucks a sheet... i guess its a supply and demand thing. As far as the dowels i also use a pencil sharpener to make em pointy as well

  • Those black brushed r for staimojg wood. No brush marks.

  • I know this has nothing to do with this video, but in your fantasy battle reports, where do you get those small heart and other tokens?

  • @IdontWantGmail Pretty sure they come from the board game Descent

  • @IdontWantGmail They make and sell them ;o

  • Awesome! you watch HuskyStarcraft! :D

  • GREAT vid Shawn, you know your shit and I'd love to see more stuff like this. You're always awesome and as negative as I myself am a lot of the time you do manage to put a smile on my face :)

  • We use roofing tiles for roads at our house!

  • I LoLed when that little piece of tile fell off and then the video did a quick start stop. I fully expected you to say something funny when that happened.

  • Those black brush-like things are used for glue. Instead of clogging the hairs on the brush, or having brushhairs in the glue.

  • Never forget to check the offcut bin near the cutting area ...

  • "Hello everyone this is S to the hawn, Shawn with another BTP terrain report!"

Loving this series! I'm organizing a terrain month at my LGS; "Terrainuary" so this series couldn't have come at a better time! I really look forward to seeing what you come up with!

  • HEY HEY, dave me and my buddy are going to be building a Warmonger Titan and i saw this video and this really helped out on getting materials. it also gave me ideas on the design, btw we're are going for a Chaos titan that is ancient and battle damaged.

  • I second the call for more Warhammer Fantasy Battles. In my area, seems people are moving away from WHFB for games like 40K Flames of War and Warmahordes. I miss my WHFB! Nobody does battle reports like BTP! I'm sick of seeing battle reports with unpainted models and junky terrain. I like to see hobbyists play the game! I paint all my stuff and appreciate other people who paint theirs, too!

  • I know that you guys are doing more Infinity and 40k Batreps at the moment, but it would be pretty cool to see some more fantasy games. I don't think that Fantasy gets the same love and attention from most sites as your giving it, and I love to see you guys play. Really nice, friendly, sportsmanlike games which is what it should all be about - as well as the blood, death and violence of course. lol

  • Did anyone else grit their teeth at the styrofoam squeak?

  • Liking the idea of the terrain your working on. Sounds like it will make for a great board when its all finished.

  • I think Ryobi owe you a commision cheque :)

  • "I'm gonna grab some caulk, gonna play around with that, see what it does"

Oh god you make it so EASY Shaun I couldn't help myself

  • Shawn talking about charcoal and red and orange and yellow made me want to make volcanic terrain...oh heck yeah!

  • cant wait to see this table.

  • @seanziess same. add some creepy music and bam. nightmare fuel. shawn is always watching.

  • hey shawn, check out "back 2base-ix.com" they make board pieces that are magnetized to stick to each other. I found them when I was looking for a board design that I want to make but be able to change the pieces around. I'd like to know what you think about it.

  • not gonna lie that look at the end scared me.

  • 8:51 lol I love btp

  • @keihagei I heard it too :P

  • No Green? No Teal? No Purple? Shawn say it ain't so!

  • oh shawn, you and your teal, hehe

  • I would say kinda purply stones with colourful follage :P

  • Lol your laugh at 7:30 is priceless

  • Great video ! Very nice tutorial and fun to see you go through your thought process. Lizard men and tomb kings both might work for fantasy temples...

  • hope this video shows what you guys use for primer, can you please share?

  • Oh gosh terrian that is taller than the people playing the game, shawn that just sounds epic.

  • i smoke pink styro out of my brothers bong somestimes, it actually goes pretty well with an afternoon of 40k

  • Holy moly, industrial strength back scratcher, i can see a fantsay ogre using that for his back scratching needs.

  • Husky! :P

  • hey shawn try pvc pipe tops, they make great fuel silos and only need to be painted

  • Hey Shawn, When you were talking about the alien worlds being a temple I thought about the movie "Castle in the Sky" by Miyazaki (the director of spirited away) I don't know if you've seen it but you should check it out. Your idea makes me think of the lost city Laputa

  • How much did one of those pink 8x4 styrofoam cost?

  • I remember your old tutorial like videos from years ago very cool seeing something like this again.

  • sponge brushes are great for staining. i used them on some woodwork for my 40k cathedral and they turned out boss

  • SON

  • @CancerMage Epic Terrain Time!

  • @bluetablepainting Not drunk enough in this video for that I am greatly disappointed, Shaun, greatly disappointed.

  • the terrain could be Old one ruins so it could work for both 40k or fantasy.....

and why no teal eldar T.T just kidding :)

  • These videos are awesome, do more... :)

  • are you head of terrain also shawn?

  • I love how theres just this huge mountain next to you Home Depot. I need to move to Utah

  • No Eldar,,how about TAU,,no love there. Can not wait to see your construction of terrain.

  • i still say dawn of war maps

  • Super juvenile so I apologize. I am writing an english paper and only listening to this video when I hear "I'm gonna grab some *caulk* and just play around with that, see, see what that does." My dirty mind really took that the wrong way.

  • @nobzey Sadly, my political career is over before it began.

  • Isnt it funny how the metal and painted "bunker" was "expensive" at 13 dollars, but a plastic unpainted GW kit will run you 30....

  • Shopping with Shawn, good times

  • wow those mountains are beautiful
