Was there an actual warhead in the missile hitting the building, or was it just to show precision guidance. I would have expected more of an explosion.

From what i can tell from the wikipedia info on this missile. It makes a bloody big bang. near 500 kg explosive. 1400 kg full weight. So a 900 kg body with components and fuel. The wings are so small that it needs to go mach 0.8 to 0.95. around 600 mph. Its also very agile. I like how it dives into the building at 3:24. Just amazing work.
Both are quite similar, however, TAURUS has longer range, a slightly heavier warhead and also uses an image based navigation (+INS/GPS)for waypoints and during the terminal phase.
SCALP/Stormshadow relies on INS/GPS for midcourse and uses IIR only for its final approach.
lo unico malo esque puede ser embarcado en fragatas pero no en submarinos ,España por eso va a adquirir misiles tomahawk ( lo malo esque tenemos restringido su uso contra aliados ,marruecos por ej que es el que mas nos mosquea ...)

los peruanos no le duran un asalto a chile ,aunque en la guerra perdemos todos es muy triste ,,,de todas formas no pueden mantener una guerra sostenida ,no tienen una economia de guerra solida y sobre todo que chile se rearmaria en un santiamen realizando compras cosa que peru pueda hacer ,tendrian que tirar de la guerra de guerrillas o guerra irregular /asimetrica
no sabia que estuvieran tan tensas esperemos que no vayan a mayores : / el ejercito chileno esta muy bien y sobre todo tiene mas respaldo internacional ...lo que no entiendo es como un pais como chile no dispone ya de un portaaeronaves o lhd para tener algo de fuerza de proyeccion ...chile puede comprar material en caso de conflicto y mantener la guerra durante mas tiempo que peru ,su material es mejor ...los misiles taurus son el tomahawk europeo ,chile puede comprarlos cuando quiera ...salu2

but they have similar characteristics. (similar weight, speed, range,...)

this is **** we should rather acquire some 60 gripen which already can fire it also for navy or so.+ launch it from a400m
