  • will the gx390 bolt on to a gx200 motor mount?

  • @bellat313 No, I had made an adapter plate out of 1/4" aluminum, but now I bought a whole mount from Ebay.

  • WHERE DID U GET THE PIPE FROM? I WANT ONE FOR MY GX 240

  • @baymuscle454 My Dad made it. I think it's from his racing mower, I just used it for testing.

  • what clutch do u have on there and where u buy it and what mods did u do

  • @SArulz1 I updated the description.

  • "It's a little low" LOL! I see plenty of old lawn tractors on the property that could be used to make a go kart that'll sit way higher LOL!

  • will withstand that clutch

    ???

  • @amddylamddy There's mower racers in Ontario that use this clutch on 20 hp v-twins and it seems to stand up really good.

  • parabens babei aki fio massa mermo axo ke vo fazer um desse ae

  • could anyone tell me what changes do i have to do on stock brand new honda gx390 to put it on a kart? i don't know much about karts and i cant find answer on google...

  • nice i made go-kart by my self and i have a Yamaha DT125cc engine open tuned mikuni 45 car or something beacuse my friend bring me the carb .polini air filter. i have a standard car 15" wheels. front and rear disc brakes. and it haves little over 56 kg.i am in europe so we have KG instead POUNDS. on road i get 123-128 km/h. so we hafe a lot of fun. if we want to go to woods we just replace tires. i have 3 seats. driving seat one next to driving one and one just below the roof roll cage bars

  • @gapexxxsuspension Sounds sweet. I used to have a Go-kart with almost the same engine. It just had little tires like this one on it but it was lots of fun.

  • @wertheroriginal Did you have any plans to that? I was going to make one from scratch but if you have plans for that could you please reply with some sort of link?

  • @balls2yourface No, I didn't have any plans. I bought the chassis and just mounted the engine on it.

  • what kind of clutch did u use and what kind of chain did u use???? i have a gokart like yours but cant find a clutch to fit the 9 hp 1 inch diameter shaft.pls write me back,,thnks

  • @superflyguy218 Noram Star clutch #35 chain.

  • @wertheroriginal thnks:)

  • wow you need to bring that clutch engagement down! you can hear it tinging cause its trying to engage!

  • @mitchthegolfer I think you mean bring it up. I have heavier springs in it now, it's about 3200 rpm stall.

  • @mitchthegolfer The clutches on go karts always ting. If you knew anything about them you would know. If you just touch the outer case on the clutch the tinging will stop.

  • what clutch are you guys using? i have the exact motor sitting in our shed and wna do something like this. also, what intake manifold are you guys using?

  • do u ever race it

  • @acdc2197 There's no open class here, so I haven't yet. My Dad's building one too so thats probably the closest I'll get to racing it.

  • what kind of clutch did u use

  • I used a Noram Star clutch. I've heard from a lot of people that it's almost bullet proof. They even use them on modified v-twins making close to 50 hp.

  • thats a really big engine for a go kart lol

  • Yah, It's big...... I guess.

  • i meant street ( asphalt)

  • id like to see u do dat on dirt, i can do that with my 6.5 clone modified and prob produces about 8 hp, idk tho, check out my vid and u tell me..., oh and nice vid

  • Hi there,

could you please tell me whats the best spark plug holder to use with the gx390? to try and improve its performance.

    many thanks

  • I always used the stock one. Then we got the billet flywheel that's designed for the 5 hp Briggs coil, so I just used whatever rubber boot is on a Briggs.

  • haha i need one of those... ive got a g200 5hp on mine... kinda starts slow but gets goin bout 70

  • I had a pretty low gear on here. I think it would only do about 45 mph.

  • hey im building up a clone engine, do you know any good sites for racing parts?

    *im subscribing* nice job :)

  • done any mods to it?

  • ARC billet flywheel and billet rod, Affordable Go-Karts Torquer cam, chromoly pushrods, stainless valves and 36 pound springs. Shortly after this video I got the 1.3:1 roller rocker arms from Racseng. It's got the Gx340 head on it. I did some porting in the head and planed 0.040" off. Are you building some Gx motors too?

  • yeah, build mainly gx200s

  • that thing direct drive ? like does it have a cont clutch ? or a torque converter ?

  • It's got a centrifugal clutch.

  • that seems proper for a 13 hp motor

  • thats the way to do it stuff a big honda in that and let it tear

  • hahaaaa that's awesome them quick attach gx390's are the most versatile engines ever!!!! lawnmowers snowmobiles go karts what's next? an airplane hahahaha surprise me

  • now that I like. I want to come out and see you guys some time.

  • i love that thing! i really need a 13hp for mine!

  • Thats awsome! Nice kart!

  • Thanks.

  • very nice! is it straight piped?

  • Yeah, there's no muffler.
