@ahendricks0703 no its not. Just alot of the main stream music is thrown together and put out there very quickly just to make a quick buck..... There have been great albums that have taken a week or two to write but not many. Alot of mainstream artist just arent as talented as they used to be.

i feel i have all these responsibilities that i never fulfill - whether they be subtle or whatever, i think it has to do with the perfectionist spirit. one responsibility is thinking through and figuring out things i don't understand - about people, about myself, relationships, whatever

this refers to all the things in my mind that remain unkept - i never dealt with them thoroughly

Ultimately this song is an extended metaphor for the process of life. It uses seasons as symbols for the steps of life.

Summer= Youth, risk, joy and wonder we find when we are young. Ignorance of death.

Autumn= Midlife, you reap all the things you did in your youth. Job, marriage, kids, found purpose.

"Bury Us"= End of life, Your friends and those you grew up with are dying. You panic because the realization you are in your final "season." Death becomes very real to you.
