Congratulations! I'm from Mar del Plata, Argentina and was very happy these years going to play this game. Also played Popeye and Frog. Thank you. Gustavo
A true Master at what he is doing!!! My son keeps watching this over and over again. We want to start a Donkey Kong from scratch but how do I tell him Daddy has no idea?!?! Wish we had someone to guide us from start to finsh. Maybe sometime in the future we can but for the meanwhile its feedback, info, info, info, one step at a time!

I heard that radar scope was pretty bad but damn that was a rare game. Was it hard for you to decide if you wanted to turn it to a dk machine or was it your whole intention of getting it and changing it like the other ones miyamoto changed?
WOW! ! I totally LOVE this! EXCELLENT! I love your video and your music so much I shared it on myspace...I hope You don't mind! Great editing too...and cool picture at the end...awwww!
Man Your Lucky. But Sometime When My Brother Moves I'm Gonna Move Into His Room. And Get A Donkey Kong Machine In it. Because My Brothers Room Is Big.
Has anyone else got a cabnite like this that's broke or somthing if so could u sell me it I live in Ireland and I would love to bring one back to life o and man wherd u get all of the stickers and the tv ?
That was sooo awesome. I liked how you used the whole '80's style movie montage to show the renovation of the game. LOL It was cool. I want to break Billy Mitchell's Donkey Kong score.
I hope to find a Radar Scope someday. I would restore it, though, instead of converting it to Donkey Kong. I would also repair the original monitor, and anything that is broken and can be repaired.
It's so fun to restore one of these machines. I helped one of my friends restore a centipede machine. Hopefully soon I'll be able to do My Mame machine if things go well. Nice job !
That was spectacular. A well done video and a MASTERFUL restoration. That is pure talent. Seeing that cabinet sure brought back some memories. I enjoyed that video a lot. Thanks for that. Very impressive stuff.

Wow- your DIY skills are second to none! That arcade must have cost you a fortune, though.

just wondered what emulator you used for this project
acidburn7683 1 year ago
@acidburn7683 Advance Mame under DOS, because it can handle the native resolution of the game and so be arcade accurate ;-)

Fantastic historical homage!! Just think, Nintendo converted 2,000 unsold "Radarscope" machines (in red cabinets) into "Donkey Kong" in 1981.
