It can only get worse because the population is getting older while the technology keep them alive longer. Old people represent a majority of the population so who do you think the DEMOCRATIC politician listen to?The majority of the population(which they are part of) and in our present case the majority is that part of the population who already have a foot in the grave and would do anything possible to stop the unstoppable:DEATH.

I know it sound great the way people talk about it: free health care for everybody but it's not free there is huge cost for all that and it is the stagnation of the society as a whole. 66% of our state budget goes into the health care system and it keep getting worse every single year. All this money who could and should be spend on education ,infrastructure, governence etc. goes to feeding vegetables , wasting a ton of material and human resources on condemned people.

Single payer is an insanity and every country who have it is wasting money on old people who will never give back to the society what they are taking. Most of old people who are profiting from free health care almost never contributed to the system.Our health care system make zombies live extra years at the expense of the state only because their family don't want to face reality.

This guy is amazing. It's hard to believe he rationaly believe in the non sens he is saying. If people knew survival rate of hospital it would only create a rush for some hospitals causing congestion and infinit waiting list(making their survival rate worse at the end). Believe me american people: you have the best health care system(except for medicare and medicaid).

@royalplaylist102 You really have no idea what you are talking about. Consumer data exists in every market besides healthcare. If you know the quality of the product you're considering to consume, then you'll make a more informed decision and force quality improvements in the bottom 20 percent.

@charleshoskinson It's not a matter of decision but a matter of money. I know Subaru make more reliable car than Toyota but I'm still driving a Toyota because I can not afford a Subaru. We have one of the best child hospital in north America here it's called St-Justine hospital. It's nearly impossible to get your child threated in this hospital if he's not heavily ill, if you don't work there or have friends in the administration.Thanks for giving me a free free market lesson.
