Really like how you've organised your room! Think I'll rehang my earring on a scarf something like yours. My necklaces are on a huge corkboard I customised. It looks good and saved my walls!

Rather than put NAILS into your walls (ahem) just put up a bulletin board or cork board and then you can adjust the tacks as needed without wrecking your wall. Just a thought.

Thanks I did my wall similar to this. I really like this better than a jewelry box. As I said in my video, the necklaces get tangled to easy and this makes it much better and choose them more.

to hang all of my necklaces (i don't have that many) I use a really pretty coat rack type thing and I put a couple on each hook.

To organize my accessories, I used one of those wooden memory boards that have bands that run across them and are used to hold pictures or notes on them.. I took some pushpins and put them straight across. It was easy, and it took me about 5 minutes.  What I really liked it about it was that you can pick a board with a cool background so it can go with how you decorated your room and plus, they're cheap! I think I got mine for $5 @ Wal-Mart in the back to school section during August.

the best to avoid tarnishing or rusting is to keep the chain necklaces in plastic bags and always on a dry place. Plastic, glass or shell stuff can be put on display like you have :)

I have some Forever 21 jewelery. Most cheap jewelery turns a different color after a year or two of constant use. However, if you treat your jewelry nice, it'll last longer. For example, it took one of my favorite necklaces two years to wear down, because I treated it so nicely.

My friends always talk about how their rue21, claires, charlotte russe, etc. jewelry fades but mine never does. I mean I have my things laid out and organized in different drawers. Nothing has turned on me...yet! they keep theirs in clumps and stuff so I always figured that's why it turns.
