  • Could you please upload another video testing the touch screen? Im really interesting to buy a dell XPS. But Im a hard choice between touch screen or Full HD screen.

So, could you please upload a video testing the touch screen and all this feature? (multi touch, more than one finger, maximum number of fingers, etc...)

    thanks!

  • I highly suspect it's a video issue and not a trackpad one. IE8 and Chrome (with default settings) don't enable GPU accelleration so that's not uncommon. The freshly released IE9 supports GPU accelleration by default or you can configure Chrome (since version 7 I believe) to enable GPU accelleration. Run either of those and then check out your nVidia Optimus control panel and see if you're using the Intel IGP or nVidia GPU. It should switch to nVidia with IE9 and be MUCH smoother.

  • does it happen in chrome and IE? i know there are some hacked multitouch drivers for the synaptics touchpad, you might want to look into those. Other than this issue, how does the multitouch trackpad work, do you like it?

  • are you on high performance?

  • @glowdesignzz Yes...
