I am under 21 and I agree with you 100%. I still remember the Lakers 3peat like it was yesterday. The Lake show is back for 3 more. Phil only wins in 3peats. I think the NBA on TNT is as close to the NBA on NBC (Marv Albert) that we will ever get but it is still miles apart.

Yeah you're right, you could be under 21 and have pretty clear memories of NBA on NBC, I'm 24 and I remember being in elementary and enjoying early 90's NBA (flat tops and crisp ball movement). That Laker Threepeat was sweet, I love that we won it all this year but this 2009 run does not compare to 2000-2002. The WCF's were amazing each time, with the big comeback in game 7 in 2000, the sweep and 39 point blowout in 2001 and surviving a Sacramento team that was more talented and red hot in 2002.
