Robin too looked so sad and forlorn the whole time, it's very apparent that he was in great pain. But he has this ability to stay composed in difficult situations,
no matter what he is feeling inside. Adam has inherited not only his father's looks but also his wonderful sense of humor, he was so much like his father on stage. Yvonne and Sammy were beautiful, strong and so sad. Sammy looks so like Mo. Robin: "He was the most sweetest, generous of people you could ever meet." It seemed like there was an empty space (physically) where Mo should have been. Mo I "Wish You Were Here " You are "Gone To Soon" Too Young.
5:27 is actually rather abysmal. Though I don't want to perpetuate the toneless accusation that is rather true here, it is fuzzy and pancake like.

Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb were and are the greatest pop songwriters of them all.
Insync did sound rather pitiful. I have to agree with the comments about them being toneless. It just goes to show how difficult the material; the creativity and talented work of the the Bee Gees have accomplished. The Insync group could not have listened to what they did. This was just months after Maurice passed. I always noticed that part where Barry looks up as if he hears someone... I immediately thought that he felt or heard Maurice's spirit at that moment.
I don't know why I keep watching this. It makes me so sad that Mo died so young. Watching his wife and daughter cry breaks my heart. Adam was great like his dad and uncles. Barry and Robin held it together but you could tell they wanted to cry. They will live forever because their music is so great.
If you look carefully, Barry is crying as he's trying to make the acceptance speech and still doing so when he's given the mic to Adam to speak on Mo's behalf. That is the true measure of a man who loved his family very much and wasn't against sharing the love with others like Mo's family. NSYNC did a lovely job. Notice how IMPRESSED Robin and Barry were. They were willing to thank NSYNC lovingly for a great job.
The first few times I heard NSYNC singing their medley, I didn't really enjoy it. But I was expecting them to sound like the BeeGees. When I expected them to sound like NSYNC, then I enjoyed it. Five part, accapella (sp?) is tough to do.
I think that Nsync's performance simply shows how difficult it is to sing like the Bee Gees. Many have tried and many have failed. How gracious Robin and Barry were to thank NSYNC for trying. Most artists live performances sound okay at best but the Bee Gees sound amazing live. Long live their music.
