how well does that 460 fit in that mustang? i have a 71 mustang coupe and i want to put a 460 in it. just wondering if there were modifications needed to make it all work?
The 1971 was specifically designed to accommodate the Boss 429, but the EPA killed that dream. The 429, the Boss 429, and the 460 essentially all use the same short block. So it should just fit in pretty well
what camshaft is in this? love the sound

either #1 or #5, not sure. Firing order should be 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8

#5 cylinder is hosed. Check the compression on #5. Bet it is lower than the others...Still sounds pretty good.

just some slight adjustments, new mounts etc etc...i'm putting a 429 in my '71 fastback

check mine out- but my vid was done before restoration. pretty cool you have got a 460 in yours- im seriously thinking about a supercharger for mine

460 SWEET!! I really like that body style Mustang. My mom had one when I was a little girl. Good work looks and sounds great!
