2) Islam is a religion based on Proof before blind faith. The Quran mentions that "If it were from others and not Allah, then you would of surely found contradictions". The Quran contains no such contradictions. There is also many Signs in the Quran which speak about Scientific phenomenons not discovered untill recently.
