made in usa or not, im sure the performance is the same. the difference may be in pure craftsmanship/quality because it is made in the usa! asia is cheap labor, factory oriented so obviously that is a downgrade. i got the last batch on the caad9's im happy to have it because its aesthetically pleasing (more traditional look), stiff. i dont regret it either but wouldn't judge the caad10 for its origin.
@jcc2150 Trust me, the asain factories are as good as or better than american factories, especially when it comes to carbon fiber, and they aren't paid 3 cents an hour and forced to work for 12 hours, they get paid fairly and work just like people in america, but the fact still remains, we're not putting our money into american worker's pockets
@shorerydr10 Seriously? What did you hit to make your fork snap? I've had pretty good luck with my CAAD10 so far. I've had it for about a month and put about 200 miles on it. Gonna keep my fingers and hope I don't encounter this problem while going downhill at 40+ mph
@cmitsou83 i had my caad9 for just over a year now, around 3500 miles so far. the fastest i ever went downhill was 42 mph. crazy, felt stable too. just make sure you wear a helmet and keep your eyes open.
@jroyero Nope, Cannondale was sold to Dorel, who outsourced the manufacturing to China. So its not really Cannondale anymore. Buy a Serrota, they are an American company who builds bikes in NY.
