Unfortunately at the varsity theatre they generally put out chairs.. it's dumb but there's not much you can do :/

i like them a lot. im going to see them live for the first time in april. damn everyone is gonna jump all over me but they need to work on their timing. haha yeah, ive become my worst nightmare, an overly critical musician!

They could be the opening band in this case. Often when the curtain is closed behind them there's another band's equipment hiding, waiting for later. So maybe they didn't come to see the Mates, even though they're better than whatever the other band is.
