Take it back to grade school with a little show and tell. Be patient. Be simple. Be a good communicator.
Maybe incorporate this change on a small project within the firm. If the project succeeds, people will be interested. A change will grow outward from there.
People don't like change, especially if they don't experience it first hand. Give them this first hand experience, one person at a time, one project at a time and so on.
