  • good upload, i like to see the grey sector colours

  • Sounds like one of the pumps is to advanced (diesel knock) or its blowing from the exhaust manifold joints. Could be a worn camb on one engine bank.

  • There were many class 37s painted in the Railfreight coal livery. Do you mean that 37213 was the only one painted at Laira or the only one painted at Laira in summer 1989?

  • Poor old 213 sounds terrible! Not in the best of health at all and yes just like 401 does at the moment.

Was a good solid maachine too 213... I am racking my brains to think what 705 was working though, a long ish train of TTAs heading West.... they looked like fuel tanks as the last one was numbered 56xxx..

  • Excellent footage.

  • Thanks 21C123

  • Great vid! That 37213 sounds a bit like 401 does now?

  • Yea your rite

It may sound a bit better when it comes out of Wigan ??

  • spectacular footage!

  • Some brilliant footage there Warren, with 37213 looking and sounding ready for the end if it's working life in May of that year. Made more special to see Newport under snow..keep 'em coming 5* Bob

  • Thanks again Bob... Take care...
