What a game, one of my favorite 49ers games of all time. Crazy part is that this wouldn't have happened in this day and age with instant replay because Jerry Rice fumbled during that last drive, and replay would have given the ball to the Packers.

I think this play was greater than the "catch 1" and the "catch 3" because this was the only do or die pass. On the catch 1, if they missed they coulda kicked a field goal to tie and same with the catch 3. Also, no one expected this. This was my greatest memory as a 49ers fan as a kid.

A FG wasn't going to do any good for them in that game; also Catch 1 was in the NFC Championship to advance to the Super Bowl. Of course this game in 1998 NFC Wild Card game and the 2011 NFC Divisional Playoff game were exciting don't get me wrong. This game against the Packers they were down by 4; the game last week against the Saints they were down by 3.
