Now there is the problem. All anime turn to live action is next to impossible. Why?

1. Anime hairstyles are difficult to imitate. A wig might help (without worries of falling off).

2. An anime moves faster than a human.

3. Animes tend to have an even skin tone color compared to a human.

4. Lastly, animes can speak with no jaw movement (which is impossible for a human)

@al1en5ex1st that is indeed a fair point , but even if they do they it wont be the same theres a certain feeling you get with anime , like the first time you saw ichigos bankai when he fought byakuya you cant recreate that or the intense moment when ichigo dies and goes full hollow against ulquiorra , and plus they always fuck up the moves , like they did with the dragonball z movie , it would take a lot of work and graphics to make it all work and i fear we just dont have the technology yet .

It just established who Characters were, what Hollows, Shinigami were etc, and why Ichigo went to the Soul Society in the first place, that could be summed up in about 30 Minutes, with a few adjustments like if Chad, Orihime, Ishida etc were introduced quickly and Chad and Orihime had somehow obtained their powers beforehand. My point is, the beginning is unnecessarily long, and besides the action really doesn't start until the Soul Society Arc anyway

db evo was and epic triumph at destroying a franchise but i think (hope to god) this one will go well, as far i have discovered its sticking to the rukyia rescue script from the anime it's, when the japanese did the deathnote movie it was spot on to the original but lacked the budgeting. it's gunna be a good 2 hours or so thing is bleach isnt as big a fanbase as dbz and such so dvd is probably the best we'll see also a naruto movie is coming outnowthaisgunnasuck dick :)

I would say a bleach movie can work mainly because so many movies have come out of comics. If you think about it, how is bleach any different then X-men, or Spider Man, Iron-Man, or Captain America (not to mention the Avengers, which should come out next year) or any other comic book/ cartoon based movie?

This is the cast from the musical. Also hollywood didn't make it. The Bleach musical was a on-stage performance in Japan, and it was accurate to the series and suprisingly entertaining. I do agree that if Hollywood can't make a good movie of a series they shouldn't. Japan does better at turning anime or manga into live-action.

The anime show sucked anyway. Ichigo's background was very shallow since it's not like Batman Begins of why is he in a bat suit and what's his purpose for being batman.

I prefer Ichigo to have a dark background, full of rage before becoming the most powerful villain in all times. Just look at Vader for example. He was a hero until rage came.
