I posted a group on facebook I own a Schweenie Dog to see if anyone else has a schweenie, it is very hard to find other owners of these amazing dogs so hope to see some of you there!
i have a schweenie as well! she is 8 months old and the most adorable perfect best dog ever! she is like a little person! shes all black with 1 white spot on her chest. she looked just like this when she was younger but now her coat is much longer... she kinda looks like a schnauzer with her long hair hahaha
Charlie the 2 year old Shweenie does the same thing with squeekie toys. Like a shark he shakes them and his little growl is so enticing. Shweenies are the best.
We have found her to be very smart, but very stubborn! Basic obedience class really helped with training. Treats motivate her to do what we want, but to be honest, most of the time she still does not come if we don't have a treat. She just stands there and doesn't move. If we move towards her, she runs and thinks it's a fun game! We are thinking of starting a schweenie group on Facebook so we can all share photos and our experiences with these fun dogs!
We have a little schweenie girl who is now two years old. She is the cutest, smartest, and sweetest little girl. We had no trouble potty training her and she is like a little person. We never want to have a different breed again!
If you have a picture of your schweenie, we'd love to see her. Olive looks a lot different now, but we agree - she's like a little person, we love her to death and we want another one! : )

One of the reasons we posted this video was to see if we could find other Schweenie owners and see their dogs since we can barely find any info on them when we google them. We got Olive on Dec 20th and we absolutely love her. She's 3-1/2 months old now. What does yours look like? Olive is 1/2 mini wire haired dach, 1/4 mini long hair dach and 1/4 shi-tzu.

I have 3 schweenies, all from the same family. I love them so much, but they are basically untrainable lol.

i have a schweenie too! he's brown and not even a year old... im trying to train him to come to me... but he won't listen to well any hints?
