Kim is so high she can't sing, Franck Black looks like to not give a shit, Joe, despite being the best guitarist on earth is everything but a show man... at the end you can only rely on David... who's far in the back. So disapointing.

I had the fortunate pleasure of seeing Mr. Frank at a small bar downtown Denver at the Walnut room two weeks ago. Man this guy is great !!!!!!!!!!!!! @MisterLoveless Looks like a Steinberger, to me. Those are clean looking, play amazingly, and are tons more versatile than any standard P or Jazz bass from Fender.

Trips some people out that it doesn't have a headstock, but so what. It's a tool to make sound. [the body is just a sharp edged Fender shape, overall. It's plain white with black hardware. Not a lot different than most Fender P basses.

One of the B-sides to velouria, "The Thing", is an altered re-recorded version, it takes this song and cuts away everything but the coda. Then adds theremin and piano. I think it's pretty superiour. Just a bit of drum machine, then the bass hits those couple of notes, then bliss for the next two minutes.
