1 thing, add a notch under the knot for the loop on the stick, so if you caught game on that, the string won't just slide off, and you loose your dinner. great eitherwise
When you brought it up close, I realized how it actually worked ^^. The stick is holding the momentum of the tree, which has the snare tied to it. The rope from the stake to the notched peg is as tight as can be. When something touches it, it releases the stick (by making the notched peg extend towards the stake) and the stick holding the snare is pulled up. It's a smart and well thought out design. 5/5
There you go. That's a good design. One small suggestion I have is to attach the noose directly to the tension line so there is no risk of one of the knots slipping off the stick. Perfect otherwise.

the left side you dont need a notched peg...any kind of solid horizontal branch will work imo.
