first of all. that tap seemed like a rookie mistake, a mistake players in that level, heck, even in my level, would NEVER commit. But if that does happen, it is considered a foul, in the same way if your shirt touches the ball, it is a foul. Never in my 10 year pool "career" have i seen a pro make a mistake like that. (by career I mean hanging out in a pool hall making a decent wage through cash games)
@loser191205 they dont make enough coin to be perfect, and even though you may be a talented and knowledgable player i doubt you made any high figures hanging out in rooms.thats not attacking pool im just sickened, ive never seen athletes so underpayed and thats why the guy in the orange works as a garbage man, and the guy in black is a table mechanic. BEEF UP THE STAKES, i know, start charging 20 dollars an hour table time then the rooms could sponsor high stake tournys.
@ucanpeaceoff oh then these young hiphop assholes wouldnt wanna hang, they wouldnt have enough $ to afford getting shitfaced,.... OH, then you might actually have a SPORT:) environment, fell free to add you dipshit opinions!
well i agree. There isnt any high stakes tourneys around the world of pool unless you are a "world class" pool player. then maybe endorsements would save your ass.
As for what i earned in the pool halls, lets just say i never played tournaments. and the stories of playing a "per game" system is a lot more true than playing a race to 7 for 5grand. thousand a game sound good? :)
It is a foul to strike, touch or in any way make contact with the cue ball in play or any object balls in play with anything (the body, clothing, chalk, me- mechanical bridge, cue shaft, etc.) except the cue tip (while attached to the cue shaft), which may contact the cue ball in the execution of a legal shot. Whenever a referee is presiding over a match, any object ball moved during a standard foul must be returned as closely as possible to its original position as judged by the referee.
hold on a minutue i though the rules in pool state that it's only a foul if you touch the cue ball (an accidental tap). if you touch any other bal eg a 2 or a 9

Is there no rule to say that you're only allowed to strike the cueball? The foul in the eighth rack should have been a foul.

what a stupid rule. touching balls must be a foul. cant understand why they play such cheap rules.
