  • Amazing!

  • I want to see this so bad!

  • What a voice! What a beautiful girl too!!

  • This is the better "Love never dies" with the real high notes and no tricks changing the tracks of the partitura, congrats

  • Venus lives?

  • she looks so different in real life from when she does in the musical

  • Being Ramin or any other man who played in Phantom with her must have been all like "Sing My Angel" and REALLY meant it. Damn. She is GOOD.

  • How thin is she?! Jealous.

This is an absolutely fantastic piece! Using it as my finale song in my last school concert before going to Uni, and using it as a Uni audition piece :')

  • Wow.. Beautiful!!

  • Saw LND when it 1st opened. Cried all the way through it ( lol ) THAT VOICE <3<3

  • Absolutely Brilliant.

  • where did she get her dress? I really want it

  • This is truly beautiful...

  • Please watch my version of Till I Hear you sing in my videos :)

  • 3:41 O_o

  • @JesusMusic93

3:41 Even scarier: I can sing that part. And I'm a 15 year old guy. O_o

  • @QingwenNaWei There is more to singing than just hitting all the right notes, just as there is more to playing a musical instrument, With time you will hear the difference.

  • @QingwenNaWei Thats Scary Awesome and Pretty Amazing

  • @QingwenNaWei well its possible that your a countertenor or in otherwords a male soprano!! if your good at u should pursue it they make lots of money as there so rare!!! Thats what i do!!! Im curious though when you sing in your lower register what are you classified as? im a baritone( a light lyric baritone if ya want to get down to the nitty gritty) i know that usually us baritones are the best candidates for countertenor

  • The voice of an angel ♥ I wish that I could sing like this :) ♥

  • Such a lovely song. What a lovely voice.

  • I<3Sierra because she gives me hope that I can, someday, become a somebody.

I'm going to the same high school that she went to...

And, major theare actors don't just pop right out of Colorado, like her.

  • WOW

  • @zanydrii i was out at recess today~im in 6th elementary where i am still~ and i was tring to sing it and i FAILED TERRIBLY

  • Belief suspended very high here!!

This phantom is a milksop. His 'phantom' menace level is pipe n' slippers level B. I found myself asking me during the show " does anyone care anymore?" just as we cant watch a big slow Frankenstein outstreched arms stomping after someone anymore, this subject matter has no more edge or relevance. And for me the too well thought out lyrics lack the riskiness of imperfection. Its almost as if this cake was too long in the oven.

  • this is so amazing!!(:

  • How can someone give off so much beauty? She is gorgeous and her voice is just out of this world.

  • Gone are the days of Evita, Cats, Joseph, Phantom. Cultures and trends change people's constancy to an alignment of good music, including that of Sir Andrew L Webber. What a pity.

  • @averycynicalguy im sory that the times have changed

  • @AryelTheSpirt & thutch2008 .... yes the highest note is a concert B ( 1/2 step below the C that is 2 octaves above middle C ) I have the piano vocal book for the show. Simply AMAZING show.

  • @Contranimal82 Hello there, is it true that the Phantom's highest note is a C5? (Octave up from middle C).

  • Oh wowwww she is just stunning... I have never heard anyone else sing like that! And I love how ALW is playing for her too :D xx

  • I love this! Fellow Phantom Phans please check out my version of Love Never Dies -I'd love to hear from you :) Thanks! <3

  • Gorgeous song, gorgeous voice.

  • She sings so effortlessly! Her voice is pure beauty.

  • Beautiful!!!

  • Can anyone tell me wich is the highest note of this song? I can't find the tabs anywhere and I would like to know if I would be able to sing it :)

  • @AryelTheSpirit I believe the highest note is a B natural, just below high C (soprano C).

  • @thutch2008 Thank you! :D So I suppose I can

  • this brought me to tears in the show xx

  • Sierra is such a great singer! Have y'all seen her in The Little Mermaid Broadway? She portrayed Ariel so well! Now she's Christine! Roles of a lifetime!

  • i love these sorts of emotional songs from musicals. And this is such a technical song it must be very hard to sing i think. She's amazing though. PLEASE LISTEN TO MY VERSIONS OF 'GETHSEMANE' AND 'HEAVEN ON THEIR MINDS' FROM JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, if you get a chance i would love to hear what you think.

  • The song is one of his best. I saw Celia Graham sing it and she was brilliant. On its own the song is wonderful but, in the context of the show, it's indescribible.

  • Lovely, lovely timbre and control. The sole thing I worry about is that there's too much air in Sierra's singing. It will produce nodes in the future and perhaps damage her vocal folds.

  • What HAPPENED to Webber? This song isn't just bad, it's boring, which it tries to make up for at the end by attempting to make your ears bleed. It's obvious Sierra's got a lot of talent, but it is wasted on this drek. I'm very fond of a good number of Andrew Lloyd Webber's works, but this is not going to be among them.

  • @Calithir this song is sensational - in the context of the show it's INCREDIBLE!!!! So emotional!!!

  • @Calithir - to be honest, I haven't been impressed by anything he wrote after Evita.

  • I sing this in my singing lessons ... I think it is one of Lloyd-Webber's best by far ... alongside Think of me :) x

  • Terrible song, amazing performance.

  • I'd love to hear Emmy Rossum sing this <3

  • I Would Love to Hear Sarah Brightman sing Love Never Dies :D

  • @MrJORGERAMOS123 I think every Fan of the original cast of the phantom of the opera would love to hear Sarah singing this it will be nice for the old times Webber and Brightman in a beautiful song <3

  • no one can top Sierra!!

  • @LoverOfMusic12332 Celia Graham has just started as Christine in Love Never Dies - she is phenomenal!!! Soo much more amazing than Sierra - although I do love Sierra - a LOT!!! :-D

  • no emmy... Sierra can actually sing

  • webber on the piano hahaa

  • will someone please take this tune behind the bicycle shed and put it out of its misery?! OK its a great song- but three times around?!! and get this- the show- "Love Never Dies" is a FLOP! only the vanity- and money- of his lordship is keeping it up! (I hate to think what the Aussies will do it-they are not famous for their softness or sentimentality!!)

  • @RGPURCELL Um, excuse you. Australia has some of the most talented performers in the world. And we do softness and sentimentality EXCEPTIONALLY.

  • @RGPURCELL - Not famous for their softness or sentimentality? The only thing that comment proves is your ignorance. Australian Theatre is as good as anything in the world. I just posted a video response taken at the media call for LND in Australia this week, you can see the talent on offer for yourself.

  • @RGPURCELL the talent they chose is okay but to say that Australian Talent is just so untrue we won tonys, oscars and oliver nominations

  • SHE IS THE BEST!!!!

SHE WAS BORN TO DO THEATER...

  • I would like to hear Emmy Rossum sing this. Sierra is really good but im partial to Emmy.

  • @Orbiter3573 Emmy was great in the movie, but she had multiple takes in the recording studio. Look up a clip of her singing live during her Phantom press tour. She isn't very good live. And I think it's just bc she's been out of practice since she was trained as a kid.

  • @Orbiter3573

I agree with you. Of couse that Sierra is a wonderfull singer but I would like to listen the Emmy's version.

And I'd like to see the movie's version too.

    Sorry for any mistakes, ok?^-^

  • I thought I'd ask here because I figured somebody would know better than myself...

I went to Love Never Dies for the second time two weeks ago, (the first time that it was out of preview, though,) and Sierra wasn't singing Christine anymore... anybody know why she left or where she went?!

  • how can anyone possibly dislike this?? gosh!! this is amazing! Please listen to me singing opera at 14 years old xxx

  • @stephaniehershaw

I think this is the third incarnation of this song. It was meant for another show but Sir Andrew has a way of putting things in a drawer that didn't work during workshops and giving them a second or third look if they can be made to fit in a different show.

Check out Dame Kiri singing "The Heart is Slow to Learn". ALW thought about it for "Lover Never Dies" but it wound up in "The Beautiful Game" as "Our Kind of Love" and tried again in "The Boy in the Photograph".

  • who would dislike this? remarkable performance. heading up for my hatrick performance this week =] I met Sierra too. She is perfect x

  • WOW, her voice, WOW!!!

  • She's excellent isn't she? Really good.

  • beautiful:):)

  • I love this :D

  • ive been 2 see the show in london its amazing i would recommend it to anyone.

  • The highs are simply fantastic ...

  • Beautiful song.

  • 113 people don't like the fact that Raoul and Christine's love HAS JUST DIED!

  • I feel you!!!!!! I do not understand why Meg (Summer Strallen) had so much more appearance in compare to Christine, not that I don't appreciate her performance, but it seems to have striked a wrong balance as she's not the central character, don't get me wrong and I think her performance did spice up the show but I would personally like to see more of Christine's act... way to go both Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo, excellent vocals though the ending let me down...

  • she's really beautiful. i can't help to admire her beauty and her voice.

  • I hope there will be a movie of "Love Never Dies", too. For that's the only way I can watch it, for these amazing musicals only come to one place in Brazil, when they come: São Paulo. And I live too far away from São Paulo to go there. So I'll keep on feeding my hopes.

  • It's so bizarre listening to this after hearing her sing in Little Mermaid...

  • Wow look at her stilettos! She's so beautiful and her singing is so.. Angelic

  • @sergentsean i agree with you hun i hope that happens....

  • que buenisimo!!!! me encata la chica, su vos, todo. gracias

  • EXCLUSIVE - If anyone wants to see an amazing live singer that couldn't even get in to Britains Got Talent search- Dave Lennard Britains Got Talent Reject and see what you think, thanks

  • wow i love this

  • Is this the latest of ALW's leading ladies? If so, then his legendary scouting ability has not weakened with time. She is truly exceptional.

  • I love her!!!!!! Especially from 3:40 my god :)

  • She has a voice of an angel.

  • Her voice is exquisite. What a perfect Christine, if only she'd been in the movie!

  • She has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard.

  • I don't like the musical (at all), but Sierra sings this song beautifully.

  • hate this song

definitely not another THINK OF ME

  • @StrangeRapunzel This song is FAR better then Think Of ME.

  • @sergentsean I hope you're being sarcastic.

  • I'm making a book series and if it get's made into an animated movie I'm going to make sure that Sierra voices the the heroine because she has such a GORGEOUS voice I love her voice especially when she was doing Ariel she sang Part of Your World my favorite song and I would love to hear her sing Somewhere Over The Rainbow

  • Comment removed

  • @sergentsean nooo it would be better with ramin sierra and joseph lol they r the best

  • Better live ^^

  • God, Sierra's voice is WAY better than that Katherine chick's.

  • Does anyone know what note that is when she sings "Love may be fleeting" at the end? Just curious, haha.

  • @uberawesomeme12 the highest note that she gets up to is a Bb

  • @kmontana123 Thanks!

  • @sergentsean I AGREE 100% !!!!!

  • 110 people's love has died.

  • amazing ö

  • the characters' roles are so contrived! The phantom is a (paedophillic) hero as opposed to the evil phantom who used Christine in the first film. Raoul is suddenly an alcoholic and completely hateful, and now there's a child who seems to wander around singing dischordant tunes which are apparently "beautiful" -or so he tells us about a hundred times! Oh and then there's also a scene where a giant gorilla plays a 1970's trashy rocksong..... and i felt no emotion when christine

  • the music is absolutely breathtaking, but after reading the script online, and attempting to relate it to the phantom of the opera, im sorry, but in my opinion, its an insult to call this phantom's sequel. this is the KINDEST i can be. the story could have made a great musical on broadway on its own, but once alw said this is phantom's sequel, it almost ruined everything!

  • Saw this show on Sat. 18th Dec. 2010, IT'S BRILLIANT, SHE'S BRILLIANT, RAMIN'S BRILLIANT! The story and the music are simply beautiful.

  • I wonder how Emmy Rossum would sing this.

  • @tiredy6 not as good.

  • @tiredy6

    Bloody awfully. That's how.

  • She really is something special. She has a prescence on stage, is beautiful and has THAT voice! I can only seeing her career go in one way, right to the top. If anyone is thinking of going to see the show then do yourselves a favour and go.

  • I've got the album of 'Love Never Dies' and Sierra sings this song more beautifully on stage than she does on the CD. Shes a lovely young singer her hasn't got far until she can be as good as Sarah Brightman!!!

  • I have just listened to this again after seeing her sing it live in the show last night. Truly stunning. The voice of an angel.

  • I saw the show last night. It is REALLY impressive. The solo of this song was an absolute show stopper. The audience was on its feet at the end.

  • oh my gosh her voice! i want to sing like that! sooooooo beautiful! (explative!)

  • Although it was not originally for LND, it suits it quite well. But it would be better to have something original...

  • @nepiirine i think it is originally for LND, cuz webber said it was for a sequal of POTO when it was released for the first time and it was called "the heart is slow to learn" then. but he wasnt quite prepared for the sequal then so he put the song in beautiful games. now it is removed and used in LND as he originally planned

  • I remember Kiri Te Kanawa singing to this melody at Webber's gala at Royal Albert Hall, but it was called, "the Heart is Slow to Learn." I liked those lyrics better, but they were mean't to be sung by the Phantom, not Christine. Regardless, I am absolutely, head-over-heels in LOVE with Sierra Boggess. This performance is easily among the best I've ever had the pleasure to witness. Good God what a talent she is. My heart is still pounding in my chest.

  • Shame its been postponed.. I would have loved to have seen Sierra in this

  • 2 pianos.... that's so coooooool :D She is brilliant

  • Her voice is beautiful, absolutely stunning.

  • This is the same song from The Beautiful Game "Our Kind Of Love"...........

  • @amandajanemanning I noticed that too! Apparently Andrew has said that and its been removed from the Beautiful Game Score. But I don't think you can move a song once its published. This song ruined the whole show for me. Though Seirria is pretty damn amazing.

  • amazing voice :))

  • Wow! I Love her voice!!

  • what's that note she hits on the last Love Never Dies?

  • @burythetv high Bb

  • Sorry, but Sarah Brightman is too old to play this. She has been singing forever, and has done a great job, but it is time for a new group of stars to come forward. And NO pop singer of today could stand on a stage and sing this (or any other song for that matter) explsed like that with no electronic mixing and adjusting. Pure voice here, and a lovely one.

  • Amazing music, but I've heard this song in The Beautiful Game. The title of the song is Our kind of love.

  • thumbs up if u agree that Sarah Brightman shouldve been The original Christine in Love Never Dies. Although, love never dies dosent copare to phantom of the opera its still a reall good musical

  • beautiful - saw Love Never Dies on Monday - still got goosebumps!!!!! Lord Lloyd-Webber - is a really talented geezer!!!

  • How can people be so negative and hyper critical ? This is simply Gorgeous and beautifully sung. In a world where our entertainment standards are GAGA, Britney, and Weinstein - This New material is a DIAMOND !!

  • I feel like this song wasn't very original. it just seems bland and boring. The instrumentals behind her voice on the soundtrack are gorgeous, it's just the lyrics seem empty.

  • @futurestar58 agreed.

  • Isn't this so beautiful. Sierra's voice and the music seem bound to one another, Did Weber write this for her? Mozart did custom works too. Fabulous!

  • To those who are complaining about Sierra being Christine in Love Never Dies:

FYI: She was Christine in Phantom in the Las Vegas Spectacular. So she doesn't deserve to be criticized just for doing LND. And I honestly get chills where I here this.

  • when i first heard sierra sing this i thought her voice was a tad to high and a bit shrill towards the end of it. almost to the extent that if you didn't know the words you couldn't understand her. however having listened to the score lots and lots i now realise i was completely wrong about her. her voice is superb as long as you know all the words. she's also gorgeous too which helps lol

  • I prefer the original song, it is called "The Heart is slow to learn" It was performed by Kiri Te Kanawa in Lloyd Webber's birthday celebration at the royal albert hall, you can find it here on youtube :D

  • Lovely song, going to propose to my girlfriend when this song comes on in the theatre... she is an amazing singer and is obsessed with phantom, she was in the film as a child... go check her out, " JessKirbyMusic "

  • I'm a little disappointed in this song.....

  • Ahhh her voice is amazing!

  • Beautiful.

  • I really like her doing christine. Its nice to hear the phantom songs without the constant vibrata sarah brightman uses when singing.

  • @Mwiamh she is using a constant vibrato here..........

  • @jtg10795 not quite constant... she sorta half whispers the beginning and lower notes, its only the long or gusty notes she used vibrato on here. Its a lovely effect, i think . :-)

  • @jo123phoebe You do have a point, although I think that it may just be for the style of the song, and in the beginning the notes are too short to vibrato, but whatever. I do love the way that she sings this, she has a beautiful voice.

Although I do wonder what a Sarah Brightman version of this would sound.....? Hm, I really can't imagine it.

  • @Mwiamh Sarah Brightman had a gorgeous tonal quality, although Sierra's voice is much more natural and less forced. Brightman faked her vibrato, and years and years of faulty technique have destroyed her instrument. Sierra has a much clearer and purer voice...and is much prettier as well. Haha.

  • Did you guys know she played the role of Christine in the Phantom of the opera in LasVegas? I think she's great and that she gives tremendous depth to the character in this.

  • I think it's beautiful...

  • Meh. I liked it better when it was "The Heart is Slow to Learn."

  • LIfted

  • SARAH BRIGHTMAN IS THE ONLY ONE!!!!!

  • lovely!

  • I go to the same voice teacher as she did when she lived here in CO, what an amazing talent.

  • she swaps into her chest and head voice to drastically- its not smooth at all, i dont like it.

  • @SarahF010 she is fine but not Sarah Brightman who was a master singer.

  • i dont like this at all. she sings like shes still learning

  • @alohahulagrl she is fine but yes one could argue she does not have the clarity of Sarah but maybe she is learning the song.

  • she is a perfect christine. has a great voice and is beautiful

  • sounds really nice, but you cant beat the katherine jenkins version, sends shivers down my spine everytime x

  • I saw her when the show first came out and I gotta say those high notes at the end, even sitting near the back of the stalls I swear I could literally feel those notes resonating through the whole theatre and hitting me. I will never forget that feeling. Not only is she incredibly talented to sustain such hard hitting notes but super gorgeous too!! Grrr, sooo jealous but I'm so happy she's done the role justice!!

  • @Lala2616 100% with you on this. wish I coulda been there to see what you did.

  • Disclaimer: I am a HUGE Webber fan have been for many many years and Phantom is easily my favorite show. I believe it to be the best piece of theatre produced with the possible exception of Rent.

But for those of you who love this song/show, search yoututbe for "Our Kind of Love" from The Beautiful Game another Webber show. You can only produce a melody once...

  • @jensenkg Yes, it's not a secret that the melody is the same, ALW readily acknowledges this on the 'note from the composer' on the LND website.

TBG underwent a number of revisions, and 'Our Kind of Love' was removed from the score in later editions. So the LND theme tune is now the jewel in the crown of that score and has found its rightful pride of place, so to speak.

  • Its even better on stage

  • anyone know when this comes to broadway?

  • @mdoyle1523 it is on broadway it went on broadway in March in New York or France i believe...I really want to see Love Never Dies.....

  • @TheCamoTurtle Love Never dies is not yet on Broadway. The original is. But Love Never Dies has been postponed indefinitely due to Andrew's illness...and no doubt bad West End reviews.

  • This is so pretty! Andrew Lloyd Webber is such a wounderful composer. Phantom of the opera and Love Nver Dies are great. I love the 2 piano's.

  • Stunning. Wow.

  • I love this song so much ! so true !

  • She was amazing.. I saw that show, and both her and the actor/singer playing the phantoms were wonderful...
