i really haven't been playing this game much because the disk i have is scratched bad. usually i start going to the 2 saga frontier to see what i can do.
Well, if you're a moron and saved like I did in Hell (I was a kid, I barely even knee about the higher sword techs, let alone things like the CometBlade), you can just go back to the entrance where you arrived and heal up there. Works great if you don't have SantuaryStones. Also, levelling up down there is a cinch! ^_^

Good luck trying to level anyone up past 900 hp in an hour or less than a day, tho.
kusanagi was my favorite sword XD (though i think i misspelled it... i haven't played it in a looooong while) i just remember getting it from that skeleton lord from the tomb.
Don't want to bother you with a noob question, but ive played this game for years but never really used monsters. I am trying them out now to get the dragons and what not but everytime I suck an ability, I lose the one I already have, so how can I collect all the needed abilities. Is it that I shouldnt use Thunder?
Thanks man, I just learned that an hour after I posted the comment. I realized that when I switched the bottom one, I lose them when i change, then it hit me. In my years of playing this game I neverrrrrr learned that.
thats one way to win but you coulda finished it 2 turns (like with any "hard" battle with blue) is overdrive shadow servant tower/megawindblastx6 stasisrune then use snake oil on blue lol works everytime
its not a glitch, when you use over drive you automatically get 8 turns right after the battle sequence but it costs jp for your spells, thats why you keep doing the process
I meant the overdrive glitch. You get 8 turns when you're not supposed to after the Overdrive effect stops. So you can end up making a glitched combo of level 10.
i know, technically its not a glitch though. if you read the spell desc it tells you how you gain maxc speed so its infered that you keep the xtra turns. i only exclude it fromthe glitch category because the japanese version had the same but w/e the point is you won so cheers m8, more power to you cuz you made some sort of use of lute (never had luck with that faggot bard)
Ummm, 8 combos? Isn't ir random? I've gotten 11 hits in before. Infact, I never even used it against anyone except the last boss which annihilated me. Dragon Lord was easy. And obey this guys description. DON'T SAVE IN THE UNDERWORLD!!!! Why do you think I still haven't beat the final boss? Lol
Overdrive/Stasis glitch is lame. If you're even halfway decent then you don't need it, and playing legit makes the game considerably more fun. It's only useful for showing off a 10-hit-combo to your friends.
Other than starting skills, all monsters are equal. And taking into consideration starting skills, the hierarchy only consists of two groups: Kylin, and everyone else.
OK just ask coz when I go against a hard monster or boss that is giving me a hard time but at the same time is doing well, they owned me with that attack
