the best prove of the favouritism one enjoyed and the other suffered... first the commentators.. Hamilton stayed ahead (it's a tactic) Alonso holds him in the pit (it's naughty), and then Dennis acting angry and miserable, why?, didn't he had both cars 1st and 2nd?, yep, because Alonso was ahead of Lewis, that's why. i don't give a shit about neither of them, i'm a Jenson Button fan, but anybody who thinks Alonso was wrong, is mentally washed by Brits Tabloids and doesn't have a mind of his own.
it was all alonso fault, super skilless driver, and he won the 2 titles lucky, in 2005 because raikkonen engines and 2006 because ferrari engines, thats lucky, and when he went to mclaren he just LOSE against a noob like hamilton, alonso was all time just SKILLESS he cannot compite with a great team vs fair chances, see 2010? best car of 2010 and loses title fss what a noob!!!
@Achylles871 He is not a skilless driver. He has dragged those shit cars from 08, 09, and 11. I'm not an Alonso fan but he is good. I don't think he should have won the 05 championship cuz kimi was unbeatable and in 2006 both he (monza) and schumi (suzuka) had engine failures that the other guy won so it was basically even.
Where did all this unfair treatment of Alonso myth even come from? All I ever hear is the same old line without any examples backing it up. I seem to remember one incident where McLaren messed up his race strategy and that's it. Comparatively their strategists leaving Hamilton out on tyres worn to the canvas in China was much worse and yet he handled it with much more maturity.
@ciainthehouse Yes, that was my point that even after a mistake that resulted in him losing the Championship he didn't then go blaming the team. And also that the teams judgement in that incident was significantly worse than anything Fernando suffered whilst driving for them. Hamilton only needed to finish second in China to secure the championship and yet whilst he was leading they opted to gamble by keeping him out on worn tyres.
@han06040721 No he doesn't complain to mclaren directly. He preffers to critisize them publicly like he did in monaco after he was told not to race alonso after the team was in 1st and 2nd for fear of a collision or complain to the fia behind closed doors after the stewards have decided to take no further action like this race right here. Or how about publicly critisizing the team again back in 2009 when they produced that dog mp4-24? The list goes on.
@xflynskywlkr23 Well, these were all very different situations Coulthard simply wasn't as good as the other drivers of his era. Whether you believe the "gentleman's agreement" thing with Hakkinen? I'm not sure either. Montoya underperformed massively and reacted to the signing of Alonso. Raikkonen consistently out did him in a terrible car. His injury and fitness may have been factors but they were his own responsibility. As for Heikki, he was a running mile behind before decisions were made.
@xflynskywlkr23 He was fully justified in speaking to the press about those things. And I wouldn't say he was being particularly critical of the team (other than at Monaco), he was just pointing out what was plainly visible. Which was reflected in McLaren's handling of the situations. There is no symmetry between those examples and what Fernando did.
@han06040721 So not being as good justifies getting thrown under the bus in the sole interest of your teammate? The fact that hekki didn't perform as well as hamilton doesn't change the fact that ron threw him under bus and in so doing proved that this whole "equal opportunities" mantra that we always hear from Mclaren is all lies. Not saying that is what happened to fernando but ron has proved he has no credibility whatsoever.
@xflynskywlkr23 I don't seriously think you believe that. You expect the team to provide a driver with (at the point of his complaint) no realistic chance of winning the WDC updates before Lewis? Or give the updates to a driver who was fighting for and leading the championship. If it was the second race of the season and McLaren were providing Lewis with all their resources then fair enough, but it wasn't.
@han06040721 Shouldn't i? I mean isn't that what giving both drivers equal treatment is all about?? Actually No i really don't excect that. I expect them to act like they give there drivers equal opportunities but in reality stab one of them in the back. I don't think there is a team around that gives both drivers qual opportunities. Favoritism can be found at all teams if you look hard enough. Maybe that's right, maybe it's wrong. The difference is that Mclaren are the only team
@han06040721 Maybe he was justifed in critisizing the team in monaco but there are other incidents like turkey 2009 when he complained about his cars lack of performance over the team radio saying "i need a new car" while almost crying or something similar. He is not the stand up guy you portray him as.
@han06040721 well lets see... We have hekki publicy complaining of the same thing back in 2008 and 2009. We have montoya complaining of unfair treatment while at mclaren. Hell even coultard complained while ron dennis was in charge. He doesn't exactly have a stellar reputation with his drivers.
Qualify time in Q3 (win towards teammates ) : Alonso 7 and Hamilton 8.
Best time in race.(win toward teammates): Alonso 10 and Hamilton 7.
As for qualify , we have to consider that Alonso had more times (when he had more fuel than hamilton) than Hamilton... and we have to consider Lewis was a rookie.
Look like everyone is still overlooking the fact that Hamilton disobeyed direct team orders to let Alonso through. If he had done so, this whole sorry affair wouldn't have taken place.
Fuck the FIA, and fuck the politics and bullshit that is ruining the racing and passion of Formula 1. Even Senna had to put up with Prost's bullshit. Senna 4x WC for sure. I swear if Red Bull treat Webber like shit this year I will start going for Lotus and Raikkonen.
@superveloce640 y tu hijo de puta. si sigue sin salir, hijo de la grandisima reputa madre es porque le pusieron neumaticos equivocados, gitano de mierda
This really annoyed me, both were after a title and they were too busy squabbling with eachother to notice Raikkonen, both did not deserve the title in 2007 and justice was served, If i was Ron Dennis, i'd be furious too, it cost them team points
the amusing part is that unlike Fernando, Hamilton hasn't been near a podium in the WDC for 3 years now.
Considering that he won his only WDC by just one point, I'm starting to think that while Hammie is a good driver, he is only good enough for putting on shows(and whine on TV) but not a real WDC material.
This incident, along with everything else that happened in 2007, made me lose all of the respect I had for McLaren. Ron Dennis is one hell of a scumbag.
MAJOR props to Alonso for getting back at him and ruining McLaren's season, though. As 2006's world champion, he should've at least received equally as much support as Lewis did.
I don't think Hamilton is at fault though. He just did what was asked of him. He even contributed to FIA's investigation.
hamilton and mclaren, both from GB ... well that leads to speculations. but the truth is that a rookie was able to drive on the same level as a double time world champion.
It was Ron Dennis who ruined the Championship for Alonso, because he wanted his own discovery, the Englishman Hamilton for champion and supported him, at the cost of Alonso. If Alonso had been treated fair (once he even had to complain publicly) he would have been Champion 07 100%. Ron Dennis ruined it! Lucky Kimi!
@ritchierhoads Im not saying it was good what Ron Dennis did but Alonso the double world champion won it twice at renault because the team didnt help Jarno Trulli alot as he was experienced Alonso is also experienced i dont see why he needs to be helped much more than Lewis who is a Rookie driver
@ritchierhoads still on his own equalled the Hamilton/McLaren team on points. Ron Dennis himself said its 'him vs us' or something like that. For me, Hamilton is super quick but Alonso is in a different league - top 5 all time driver in my opinion. But people don't see the scenario the same way we do and just want to run down Alonso :/
@ritchierhoads Dennis did ruin it but if I can remind you that Kimi had two mechanical failures in that season whilst alonso only had one in quali and still got 4th place so kimi had justice. He won the most races, had the best second half to the season and finally got rewarded after many seasons where he should have won the championship by mclaren but the car let him down.
Typical "i want my own way, goo goo gaa gaa" big baby Alonso. He realy could'nt handle Hamilton beating him in '07'. Infact in every team he's been in he spits his dummy out if he does'nt get his own way and his team mate beats him (Hockenheim 2010 - "Farnando is fater than you"). Atleast Hamilton is cool when his team mates beat him and he congratulates them. Alonso's a quick driver, but he acts like a spoilt child sometimes!!
@frankietiddles hamilton did the same thing in 2008 in the same circuit... also, alonso was the better driver in 2008,in fact the spanish was voted for almost all paddock for his season with a poor car that year. ok, you can said singapur 2008, crash gate... ok ok, agree with taht but... fuji? he won there too, and nobody help him. and in 2010 alonso was the only one how could fight for the championship, AND HE DID WITH THE THIRD CAR OF THE GRID!!!
@LAURISTA I think you are forgetting that Hamilton was a rookie in '07' and he would have been champion had his car not had a gear box issue in Brazil. He beat Alonso fair and square in just the same car. The best way to judge how good a driver realy is, is in the wet, which Hamilton is far better than Alonso who nearly always spins or crashes - 'Fuji 07', 'Silverstone 08', 'Spa 10' etc etc. Like i said Alonso's a quick driver but he has to be no.1 or else he can'd handle it.
@frankietiddles Hamilton finished the season with the same amount of points that Alonso with all the team supporting him (He had the best strategy in last part of the season). Is this a defeat? I think not. You remember the incident in Brazil so well but all the races are important. Alonso lost a lot of points that season like in Hungary or by some "strange" things that happened to his tyre pressures in many qualifyings. Anyway Hamilton is awsome!Sorry for my poor english and respects!
one of the reasons i hate alonso if somthing doesnt go his way he throws his toys out the pram as well as that its no wonder massa isnt happy having him as a team mate because he tecnicaly robbed him of the title by fixing the race (when nelson jr crashed)
There is a huge difference between letting someone pass and doing a labour for the team. ( by stopping rivals and winning more points for the constructor champioship, it also make that rivals loose points if the teammate finish betweenyou and the rivals).. Alonso was clearly on his battle for the champioship (he lost because of strategy) and massa was like -100 points far from alonso and Vettel/Webber.. After the half courses done it is normal, it has always been normal and it will always be
@vegayannick normal for the one who is less better classified to work for the team. F1 "my friend" isnt an individual sport like tennis, etc.. You work as a team and you ve to do what's the best for the team,so.. It seems logic. maybe the manner massa let pass alonso wasnt the right, i agree with that at 100%. But who's fault ?§ That's the person who spoke to massa trough the radio you should blame and not the "fact" as itself. Everyteam did it through the year. Mclaren, Redbull too!
@vegayannick "Button, you hvnt got fuel enough to end the race, please drive slowly" ... Also, what redbull did in the last race was in my opinion worst that what massa did for alonso. Because massa was years and years n term of points behind alonso and cie. But redbull sacrified the driver who actually was in a better position to be champion, webber has more points than vettel and alonso. For vettel to win the tittle. Thats even worse in my modest opinion!
@grandmasterj5 You see, he was far behind Lewis, but still complainded...but when Ferrari complained about him doing the same at Monza 06, he said that was stupid...ferrari may had help from italian stewards that day but then why Alonso was complaining here?
@AlejjSi Alonso just didn't want Hamilton to out qulify him.
This is also the only time that Alonso has had a team mate that is good enough to challenge, and also beat him in F1. Also a rookie.
It's partly the reason he's loving being at Ferrari right now. Massa has been off the pace since the end of 2008. It's the only negative thing I have about Alonso as he is a great driver, but feels he should be number one driver, all of the time. He didn't like that he wasn't getting special treatment
@grandmasterj5 Indeed.he may hoped he will get the same treatment like Schumacher did in 1996 when he came to Ferrari...but may forgot that Hamilton was with Dennis nearly since the beggining of his career...but he than should have prooved that he is better by beating him fare and square
@iagoil I was just browsing around and I happened to read this comment. Well... its because of people like you that there are killings at football matches et al. You're a disgrace, not to yourself because that really wouldnt matter, but to what you try to represent. La Corunna? Deportivo? You'd never could be part of that. Yes I know, now you'd reply to me in your usual illuminating fashion, intelligent and polite. Ahhgg! You're nothing but a poor 'cara de cona'.
According to some, including I think McLaren, Ron Dennis' furious antics on the pitwall were actually because Hamilton had starting swearing over the radio at him.
If we start thinking in details,Alonso has had pretty much the same fate as Schumacher had.Let's go step by step.
1.They both have won 2 tittles in a row in team directed by Flavio Briatore.
3.They both moved to Ferrari as double world champions.
4.Schumacher suffered in his first years to win tittles for Ferrari, especially in 97 where he lost the WDC going as a leader in the last race, same happened to Alonso in 2010,both against a car designed by Adrian Newey.
@vegayannick Well my friend you mus have misunderstood this word cause team-mate support is not only stopping your rivals but also by letting you past every time you're behind. If you watch F1 you should clearly remember Germany 2010 or Australia 2011.
@blerand91 youtube: /watch?v=r7Teadf7foo and now shut up man. Every team does that. Mclaren and Redbull, Ferrari etc... remember "Button you dont have fuel enought to end the race, go slower" how could you believe it one second that in a such advanved technological "sport" they do not have fuel enough for a race, when every single factor is calculated thousands of time by the best world's engineers?? Also remember brasil 2011, vettel's trouble with car...yeah suuuure....
@vegayannick Yes,I understand this kind of stuff happening to F1,but it just ain't right to make different treatment to the drivers.Let them fight fair and square. You can't put limits to the "number 2 drivers" and say them:Ok you have to back off,or have to let your team-mate pass...etc,cause in this way you're never get the maximum potential of the driver.Teams are doing their best for their strategies but sometimes they take the wrong decisions and look very ugly in the public.
@blerand91 what you say is right, but does not exist. Ferrari did it for Alonso in Germany, like others teams did it. (This year, like the previous etc... in 2007 alonso hadnt the same treatment than hamilton). i believe that hamilton is with alonso the best driver, and makes great overtakes, with his talent but the treament alonso had in 2007 was really bad... im not saying hamilton is guilty for that, thats just a bad managing from Dennis. Nothing else, i respect hamilton.
@blerand91 in fact you were very accurate to fin the similarities, but michael never come back to briatore's team, michael never make mclaren or another team lose points by purpose, never complained about renault then come back to drive it, and complained about ferrari and now he is driving it...
@Blade4613 I know,of course they didn't have 100 per cent the same career, but anyway these simillarities are more than evident.I mean winning 2 tittles in a row in young age and having a difficult period by not beatting cars designed by Adrian Newey for about 3-4 years, and asking from the team-mates to let you by is more or less the same situation. Now we have to wait and see if Alonso can repeat Schumacher's success by putting on a domination era of Ferrari.Schumacher did this in his 30's.
@blerand91 yeah i guess ur right, but i think you have team mate support to let you by just because it's ferrari, when schumacher was in ferrari he could do everything because ferrari was ferrari, like now, massa crashes into webber in monza but it's webber to get a penality, but the team mate who let you by it's punished even for them now
@Blade4613 I think team-orders are a problem that affects almost every team today.Of course with Ferrari it is more obvious but this kind of strategy is really causing a lot of damage to the sport and it is killing the morale of so called"Number 2 drivers".We have examples of team orders in almost every team. For example:Jordan-Spa 1998;McLaren-Melbourne 1998 and Hockenheim 2008;Sauber-Hockenheim 2002;Renault in 2005,BMW-Montreal 2008..etc not to mention Ferari team-orders which are a lot.
@blerand91 yes, but now team orders are punished, well now everything is punished... but i think i understand why i don't like alonso it's because of situations like this, when he was on mclaren he screwed up everything on 2010 with ferrari hockeneim he told to the pits to tell massa to let him pass, it's... stupid, unfair and a douche
@Blade4613 I totally share your opinion, despite the fact that Alonso is a great driver he is also telling us his negative side that can't resist when someone is faster than him sometimes-especially if that person appears to be his team-mate.You know,he was shocked by the fact that in 2007,a rookie showed great results in his first races and challanged him for the championship.I mean,if he has potential he should be able to beat the others fair and square not asking the whole team to help him.
@blerand91 yep... and i hated him more than ever when he first won the first race with ferrari in barhain, when he showed up the spanish flag and the italian flag, he almost did the ironing on his flag and he walked on the italian, ok you are spanish, but italians made you the car you drove to win... asshole...
@blerand91 yeah... but i onestly don't know why ferrari hired him... he caused a huge mess with mclaren and ferrari for car parts and they hired him...
@Blade4613 Well, they were in crises by 2009,considering the fact that Raikkonen was no longer interested to race in F1,while Massa's performances left a lot to be desired so they needed a good driver to win races and to fight for championships for them, plus the fact that Alonso didn't have a competitive car for 2 years so he couldn't stand that situation anymore.I think if he really wanted to move to Ferrari he should have done that earlier maybe after Schumi retired.
@blerand91 maybe, or they could hire another driver i think it's full out there, like jos verstappen, he was a great pilot, but never had a decent car, i think there are lots of them younger
@Blade4613 Yes I agree with you, there are lots of talented drivers that never had the opportunity to fight for wins cause they didn't have a competitive car.We saw for example Button that no doubt is a great driver but his Honda couldn't allow him fight for victories while in Brawn Gp and now in McLaren he is demonstrating his real values.Same happened with Webber I think, especially in 2010 when he put on some incredible performances showing great driving skills like in Spain,MonacoSilverstone..
@blerand91 i never loved button to be honest as you can see even barrichello was good with brawn, and he is a f1 veteran who can't do a decent start, many times i saw him risking to be crashed by someone behind at the start, but now he is doing good, webber is good, but you can see that redbull is a fantastic car, and webber is getting older, even petrov it's a very talented pilot, kobayashi too, but they don't drive great cars, i think kobayashi with mclaren and petrov with redbull is ok
@Blade4613 Well,we must surely have an eye on drivers like:Di Resta,Perez and Kobayashi.I can feel that there might be a bright future for them in F1 but of course they got to work hard and to get a fast and reliable car.
@carsismeZ06 Well,we have to wait and see,but one thing is for sure.He is the only man that is keeping Ferrari's name alive right now.He is doing all he can to get the best possible results otherwise Ferrari would be considered a mediocre car just like it was by 2009.
fuck crying hamilton and ron dennis......hamilton just think he can say sorry every time he makes a mistake.......that year....but now he just blame every body but him self....alonso was making a stupid game on this ocasion, but i still love alonso, but hamilton needs to up his game...he still is a fast driver...just my wiev
@itemsplz Sometimes?... Really I cant undestand how ANYONE can have any respect for Failonso Santander Eyebrow.I mean unless he has ABSOLUTE #1 status on the team, he is going to whine about it like crazy...we saw that with Fisischella in early 2005,we saw that in Mclaren with Hamilton, and we saw that with Massa last year and how he just talked shit and lied in front of the media...and never forget what happened in Singapore 2008,do people really think that Alonso had no idea about that plan?
Alonso on equal terms, dont make me laugh. The fact is,is that Alonso could not handle Hamilton, could not control Hamilton or control the Mclaren team. Hamilton had the speed to match and beat Alonso,Alonso could not handle this and thats why he left Mclaren early. Now he is at Ferrari and NO1 driver and Massa is not really on the pace of him he is happy. He is nothing but a spoiled little brat who if he cant have his own way will do anything until he does even if that means grassing on his team.
Alonso disrespected Ron Dennis here, there was no way Dennis was going to give Alonso that championship... anybody doubts Mclaren prevented Alonso after this?.. getting out of that shithole was the best decision for Alonso... Jenson is now outsmarting Lewis, let's see what happens...
I know someone who worked for Mclaren that year.... why didn't you hand over the radio conversation to the race stewards Ron?? Oh thats right!! cos it would of showed Alonso asking why he had hard tires put on his car instead of softs!!!!
Alonso crybaby. You can see he's full of shit when he talks to the press. But it's all Ron Dennis's fault, he didn't know how to cope with Alonso and Hamilton.
Love that from Fernando. Hamilton, in 2007, behaved like an idiot, especially in Monaco, so good for Alonso, and the FIA should have kept their noses out of McLaren's business.
@001blackhole Blimey, you really have no clue as to how F1 works. Hamilton the rule leader??? WHAT??? So he would have won in 2008 without Kovelainen??? No, not even close. Look, I rate Hamilton as the closest to Alonso in greatness, but 2007 was a joke, for McLaren, for Hamilton and mostly for Alonso because the team backed the wrong horse, hence Kimi winning the title.
Alonso completely tarnished his reputation with this disgraceful incident, and together with the spy scandal and the Nelson Piquet Jnr 'crashgate' fiasco then man has proved what a single minded idiot he really is. Oh.. and @superliegebeest1708.. your lack of knowledge is almost bettered by lack of respect.. shame
alonso is a cry baby and an arrogant twat, but can you imagine lewis or vettel winning two consecutive championships with a renault against schumi's ferrari and faster maclarens?. As much as i hate him i have to respect him for been the best driver of the last decade (proven fact).
@superliegebeest1708 You are a fucking asshole, I will speak English but I do not want, idiot. I said that hamilton is a faggot and ALONSO is the best in the world hahahaha. Hamilton is a crybaby shit and you suck my dick when he loses. Me has entendido ahora? (you understand me now?) me cago en tu puta madre :)
Alonso is nothing but a cry baby, like shumi,if he cant have his way he makes things difficult,he is no way the best driver,i have no respect for him what so ever, the sport would be a better place without the moaning fuck.
Alonso was on pole you fag. Hamilton only won this race because Alonso got demoted to 6th with a bullshit penalty. A fake win for Hami-chump, he'd have finished this race 2nd without his father running crying to the FIA.
@Lvlaukwitz yes he was on pole but because he did such an idiot move holding lewis in the pitstop he got a 5 grid penalty. if he didnt held lewis he will get pole and eventually won that race instead finish in 4th. and if he won that race he would become world champion. yes it should be alonso's win but he did a stupid move and paid for it at the end. did you get it ?
@Lvlaukwitz alonso cheated, plain and simple,he hated that a rookie was faster and a better driver,so the only way to beat him was to cheat.....Alonso= FUCKING GREASY CHEATING TWAT.
Hamilton cheated trying to get an extra lap. Alonso wanted equal terms so they both did the same laps 3 each and Alonso got pole. Then the Dirty English Sheep Shagging Hamilton went crying to the FIA because Alonso beat him on equal terms.
I think it would be fun to still have Alonso and Hamilton on the same team battling it out. I like both drivers because of their talents and hard charging style and I wouldn't care who ends up on top but I just know they would put on a great show!
The biggest idiot is Ron Dennis... Why not cry on TV Ron? over your fav driver not getting pole...?! lol Nevermind him disobeying quali procedures... must be the Spaniards fault...
The same reaction was there for all to see in Canada '11, instantly being angry with Button! I guess Button is thankful Ron isn't prancing about the pit lane, crying, and making things worse...
@jimnebob Hamilton was under Ron's wing since he was 6 years old. Did you expect something else? Funnily enough, Button is currently ahead of him in the championship.
You would expect a little bit more self awareness... than crying and making things 10 times worse for himself, for Lewis and for Mclaren... let alone sending the message to Alonso he is number 2...
Same for the spygate... Ron messed that up by sweeping it under the carpet..
Button is ahead of Lewis. Not sure why this matters, Ron isn't incharge of the F1 team... Martin makes sure things are equal... something Ron cannot do (Senna & Prost? Mika & DC? LH & Alonso?) lol
Unbelievable, the ignorance and just plain stupid reactions of some of the so-called f1-fans. Sure, Vettel is a very gifted driver and he is dominating this season, but let's see him establish himself in a car that doesn't start from pole EVERY single race. I'm tal
the best prove of the favouritism one enjoyed and the other suffered... first the commentators..

@han06040721 He handled Chine with "much more maturity"? That's where hen he lost the Championship you idiot.

@ciainthehouse Yes, that was my point that even after a mistake that resulted in him losing the Championship he didn't then go blaming the team. And also that the teams judgement in that incident was significantly worse than anything Fernando suffered whilst driving for them. @xflynskywlkr23 He was fully justified in speaking to the press about those things. And I wouldn't say he was being particularly critical of the team (other than at Monaco), he was just pointing out what was plainly visible. Which was reflected in McLaren's handling of the situations. There is no symmetry between those examples and what Fernando did.
han06040721 3 days ago
@han06040721 So not being as good justifies getting thrown under the bus in the sole interest of your teammate? The fact that hekki didn't perform as well as hamilton doesn't change the fact that ron threw him under bus and in so doing proved that this whole "equal opportunities" mantra that we always hear from Mclaren is all lies. Not saying that is what happened to fernando but ron has proved he has no credibility whatsoever.
xflynskywlkr23 1 day ago

He is not the stand up guy you portray him as.
xflynskywlkr23 1 day ago
@han06040721 well lets see... We have hekki publicy complaining of the same thing back in 2008 and 2009. We have montoya complaining of unfair treatment while at mclaren. Hell even coultard complained while ron dennis was in charge. He doesn't exactly have a stellar reputation with his drivers.

Alonso VS Hamilton in 2007.
But they showed us their great rivalry.........

This really annoyed me, both were after a title and they were too busy squabbling with eachother to notice Raikkonen, both did not deserve the title in 2007 and justice was served, If i was Ron Dennis, i'd be furious too, it cost them team points
xRapidClaWx 1 month ago
the amusing part is that unlike Fernando, Hamilton hasn't been near a podium in the WDC for 3 years now.
Considering that he won his only WDC by just one point, I'm starting to think that while Hammie is a good driver, he is only good enough for putting on shows(and whine on TV) but not a real WDC material.

The thing was that neither Jam or Fonz did won the WDC...
Therefore: JUSTICE was done.

Lucky Kimi!

0910ce 1 week ago

Alonso's a quick driver, but he acts like a spoilt child sometimes!!
frankietiddles 4 months ago
@frankietiddles hamilton did the same thing in 2008 in the same circuit... also, alonso was the better driver in 2008,in fact the spanish was voted for almost all paddock for his season with a poor car that year. ok, you can said singapur 2008, crash gate... ok ok, agree with taht but... fuji? he won there too, and nobody help him. and in 2010 alonso was the only one how could fight for the championship, AND HE DID WITH THE THIRD CAR OF THE GRID!!!
LAURISTA 3 months ago 10
@LAURISTA I think you are forgetting that Hamilton was a rookie in '07' and he would have been champion had his car not had a gear box issue in Brazil. He beat Alonso fair and square in just the same car. The best way to judge how good a driver realy is, is in the wet, which Hamilton is far better than Alonso who nearly always spins or crashes - 'Fuji 07', 'Silverstone 08', 'Spa 10' etc etc. Like i said Alonso's a quick driver but he has to be no.1 or else he can'd handle it.
frankietiddles 3 months ago
@frankietiddles Hamilton finished the season with the same amount of points that Alonso with all the team supporting him (He had the best strategy in last part of the season). Is this a defeat? I think not. You remember the incident in Brazil so well but all the races are important. Alonso lost a lot of points that season like in Hungary or by some "strange" things that happened to his tyre pressures in many qualifyings. Anyway Hamilton is awsome!Sorry for my poor english and respects!

After the half courses done it is normal, it has always been normal and it will always be
vegayannick 4 months ago
@vegayannick normal for the one who is less better classified to work for the team. F1 "my friend" isnt an individual sport like tennis, etc.. You work as a team and you ve to do what's the best for the team,so.. It seems logic. maybe the manner massa let pass alonso wasnt the right, i agree with that at 100%. But who's fault ?§ That's the person who spoke to massa trough the radio you should blame and not the "fact" as itself. Everyteam did it through the year. Mclaren, Redbull too!
vegayannick 4 months ago
@vegayannick "Button, you hvnt got fuel enough to end the race, please drive slowly" ... Also, what redbull did in the last race was in my opinion worst that what massa did for alonso. Because massa was years and years n term of points behind alonso and cie. But redbull sacrified the driver who actually was in a better position to be champion, webber has more points than vettel and alonso. For vettel to win the tittle. Thats even worse in my modest opinion!
vegayannick 4 months ago
why the hell is Alonso moaning about Hamilton there? He was Nearly round the next corner when Alonso exited the last one
It's one thing to be unhappy that your team mate is faster than you, but it's another to be a bad loser because he didn't have special treatment,
He shot himself at the start when he told Ron Dennis it would be a mistake to sign a rookie.
He should have just let his driving do the talking. If he really thought he was faster than Hamilton, he wouldn't have held him up.
grandmasterj5 4 months ago
@grandmasterj5 You see, he was far behind Lewis, but still complainded...but when Ferrari complained about him doing the same at Monza 06, he said that was stupid...ferrari may had help from italian stewards that day but then why Alonso was complaining here?
AlejjSi 3 months ago
@AlejjSi Alonso just didn't want Hamilton to out qulify him.
This is also the only time that Alonso has had a team mate that is good enough to challenge, and also beat him in F1. Also a rookie.
It's partly the reason he's loving being at Ferrari right now. Massa has been off the pace since the end of 2008. It's the only negative thing I have about Alonso as he is a great driver, but feels he should be number one driver, all of the time. He didn't like that he wasn't getting special treatment
grandmasterj5 3 months ago
@grandmasterj5 Indeed.he may hoped he will get the same treatment like Schumacher did in 1996 when he came to Ferrari...but may forgot that Hamilton was with Dennis nearly since the beggining of his career...but he than should have prooved that he is better by beating him fare and square

Just another thing to write in the block of bad moments of Alonso. He didn't deserve being a Mclaren driver.
Leonov5 4 months ago
If we start thinking in details,Alonso has had pretty much the same fate as Schumacher had.Let's go step by step.
1.They both have won 2 tittles in a row in team directed by Flavio Briatore.
3.They both moved to Ferrari as double world champions.
4.Schumacher suffered in his first years to win tittles for Ferrari, especially in 97 where he lost the WDC going as a leader in the last race, same happened to Alonso in 2010,both against a car designed by Adrian Newey.
5.They both have teammate support
blerand91 5 months ago 46
@blerand91 teammate support ? Is it a joke ? Massa has never help alonso by stopping the rivals..
vegayannick 4 months ago
@vegayannick Well my friend you mus have misunderstood this word cause team-mate support is not only stopping your rivals but also by letting you past every time you're behind. If you watch F1 you should clearly remember Germany 2010 or Australia 2011.
blerand91 4 months ago
@blerand91 youtube: /watch?v=r7Teadf7foo and now shut up man. Every team does that. Mclaren and Redbull, Ferrari etc... remember "Button you dont have fuel enought to end the race, go slower" how could you believe it one second that in a such advanved technological "sport" they do not have fuel enough for a race, when every single factor is calculated thousands of time by the best world's engineers?? Also remember brasil 2011, vettel's trouble with car...yeah suuuure....
vegayannick 2 months ago
@vegayannick Yes,I understand this kind of stuff happening to F1,but it just ain't right to make different treatment to the drivers.Let them fight fair and square. You can't put limits to the "number 2 drivers" and say them:Ok you have to back off,or have to let your team-mate pass...etc,cause in this way you're never get the maximum potential of the driver.Teams are doing their best for their strategies but sometimes they take the wrong decisions and look very ugly in the public.
blerand91 2 months ago
@blerand91 what you say is right, but does not exist. Ferrari did it for Alonso in Germany, like others teams did it. (This year, like the previous etc... in 2007 alonso hadnt the same treatment than hamilton). i believe that hamilton is with alonso the best driver, and makes great overtakes, with his talent but the treament alonso had in 2007 was really bad... im not saying hamilton is guilty for that, thats just a bad managing from Dennis. Nothing else, i respect hamilton.
vegayannick 2 months ago
@blerand91 there is no point 2:)
Blade4613 4 months ago
@Blade4613 Yeah, nice notice.I have surely veryfied 4 simillarities between Michael and Fernando but I have forgot to write point 2 by mistake.
blerand91 4 months ago
@blerand91 in fact you were very accurate to fin the similarities, but michael never come back to briatore's team, michael never make mclaren or another team lose points by purpose, never complained about renault then come back to drive it, and complained about ferrari and now he is driving it...
Blade4613 4 months ago
@Blade4613 I know,of course they didn't have 100 per cent the same career, but anyway these simillarities are more than evident.I mean winning 2 tittles in a row in young age and having a difficult period by not beatting cars designed by Adrian Newey for about 3-4 years, and asking from the team-mates to let you by is more or less the same situation. Now we have to wait and see if Alonso can repeat Schumacher's success by putting on a domination era of Ferrari.Schumacher did this in his 30's.
blerand91 4 months ago
@blerand91 yeah i guess ur right, but i think you have team mate support to let you by just because it's ferrari, when schumacher was in ferrari he could do everything because ferrari was ferrari, like now, massa crashes into webber in monza but it's webber to get a penality, but the team mate who let you by it's punished even for them now
Blade4613 4 months ago
@Blade4613 I think team-orders are a problem that affects almost every team today.Of course with Ferrari it is more obvious but this kind of strategy is really causing a lot of damage to the sport and it is killing the morale of so called"Number 2 drivers".We have examples of team orders in almost every team. For example:Jordan-Spa 1998;McLaren-Melbourne 1998 and Hockenheim 2008;Sauber-Hockenheim 2002;Renault in 2005,BMW-Montreal 2008..etc not to mention Ferari team-orders which are a lot.
blerand91 4 months ago
@blerand91 yes, but now team orders are punished, well now everything is punished... but i think i understand why i don't like alonso it's because of situations like this, when he was on mclaren he screwed up everything on 2010 with ferrari hockeneim he told to the pits to tell massa to let him pass, it's... stupid, unfair and a douche
Blade4613 4 months ago
@Blade4613 I totally share your opinion, despite the fact that Alonso is a great driver he is also telling us his negative side that can't resist when someone is faster than him sometimes-especially if that person appears to be his team-mate.You know,he was shocked by the fact that in 2007,a rookie showed great results in his first races and challanged him for the championship.I mean,if he has potential he should be able to beat the others fair and square not asking the whole team to help him.
blerand91 4 months ago
@blerand91 yep... and i hated him more than ever when he first won the first race with ferrari in barhain, when he showed up the spanish flag and the italian flag, he almost did the ironing on his flag and he walked on the italian, ok you are spanish, but italians made you the car you drove to win... asshole...
Blade4613 4 months ago
@Blade4613 He is very arrogant sometimes, this is a fact.
blerand91 4 months ago
@blerand91 yeah... but i onestly don't know why ferrari hired him... he caused a huge mess with mclaren and ferrari for car parts and they hired him...
Blade4613 4 months ago
@Blade4613 Well, they were in crises by 2009,considering the fact that Raikkonen was no longer interested to race in F1,while Massa's performances left a lot to be desired so they needed a good driver to win races and to fight for championships for them, plus the fact that Alonso didn't have a competitive car for 2 years so he couldn't stand that situation anymore.I think if he really wanted to move to Ferrari he should have done that earlier maybe after Schumi retired.
blerand91 4 months ago
@blerand91 maybe, or they could hire another driver i think it's full out there, like jos verstappen, he was a great pilot, but never had a decent car, i think there are lots of them younger
Blade4613 4 months ago
@Blade4613 Yes I agree with you, there are lots of talented drivers that never had the opportunity to fight for wins cause they didn't have a competitive car.We saw for example Button that no doubt is a great driver but his Honda couldn't allow him fight for victories while in Brawn Gp and now in McLaren he is demonstrating his real values.Same happened with Webber I think, especially in 2010 when he put on some incredible performances showing great driving skills like in Spain,MonacoSilverstone..
blerand91 4 months ago
@blerand91 i never loved button to be honest as you can see even barrichello was good with brawn, and he is a f1 veteran who can't do a decent start, many times i saw him risking to be crashed by someone behind at the start, but now he is doing good, webber is good, but you can see that redbull is a fantastic car, and webber is getting older, even petrov it's a very talented pilot, kobayashi too, but they don't drive great cars, i think kobayashi with mclaren and petrov with redbull is ok
Blade4613 4 months ago
@Blade4613 Well,we must surely have an eye on drivers like:Di Resta,Perez and Kobayashi.I can feel that there might be a bright future for them in F1 but of course they got to work hard and to get a fast and reliable car.

@Lvlaukwitz alonso cheated, plain and simple,he hated that a rookie was faster and a better driver,so the only way to beat him was to cheat.....Alonso= FUCKING GREASY CHEATING TWAT.

@Largallama
Hamilton cheated trying to get an extra lap. Alonso wanted equal terms so they both did the same laps 3 each and Alonso got pole. Then the Dirty English Sheep Shagging Hamilton went crying to the FIA because Alonso beat him on equal terms.

Alonso is such a dog, expects to walk his way to a title without fighting.

I think it would be fun to still have Alonso and Hamilton on the same team battling it out. I like both drivers because of their talents and hard charging style and I wouldn't care who ends up on top but I just know they would put on a great show!

This vid is the truth.
Fernando did fight without team cooperation in that season.
Needless to say, team didnot make Alonso in a situation similar to Lewis. So Alonso had big disadvantage in that season.
But he continued to fight. This difficult experience made him a best and FASTEST driver.

Alonso and Juan pablo montoya - 2 drivers who race purely on their abilities and dont depend on their crew or car setup like others....

Unfortunately, don't worked. I think the only mistake from him was cheat against master of cheaters.

@jimnebob ron dennis is an a**
mariansss1000 6 months ago
@jimnebob Hamilton was under Ron's wing since he was 6 years old. Did you expect something else? Funnily enough, Button is currently ahead of him in the championship.

@kvarbanov

I'm tal
